Abstract This paper addresses aspectual se in Spanish. Building on the previous analyses that have been proposed in the literature to account for constructions with aspectual se that mainly focus on the syntax of these (see, e.g., MacDonald, Jonathan E. 2017. Spanish aspectual se as an indirect object reflexive: The import of atelicity, bare nouns, and leísta PCC repairs. Probus. International Journal of Romance Linguistics 29(1). 73–118), this paper provides a semantic account that makes explicit (i) why dynamic predicates must be telic in the presence of se, and (ii) why the very same se can appear with a limited number of stative predicates, which are atelic. The account is implemented in the Figure/Path Relation model in Beavers, John. 2011. On affectedness. Natural Language & Linguistic Theory 29(2). 335–370, Figure/Path Relation model. I propose a maximization strategy that captures that dynamic predicates in constructions with se are always telic by indicating the conditions under which the theme has a fixed quantity and the scale/path that may be associated with the verb is bounded. This maximization strategy is then compared to and distinguished from the event maximization strategies proposed for Slavic languages (Filip, Hana. 2008. Events and maximalization: The case of telicity and perfectivity. In Susan Rothstein (ed.), Theoretical and crosslinguistic approaches to the semantics of aspect, 217–256. Amsterdam: John Benjamins) and Hungarian (Kardos, Éva. 2016. Telicity marking in Hungarian. Glossa: A Journal of General Linguistics 1(1). 1–37), and to the scale/path maximization strategy proposed for Southern Aymara (Martínez Vera, Gabriel. 2021a. Degree achievements and degree morphemes in competition in Southern Aymara. Linguistics and Philosophy 44. 695–735).

Abstract Conjugated polymers (CPs), organic macromolecules with linear backbone of alternating C–C and C=C bonds, possess unique semiconductive properties, providing new opportunities for organic electronics, photonics, information, and energy devices. Seeking the metallic or metallic-like, even superconducting properties beyond semiconductivity in CPs is always one of the ultimate goals in polymer science and condensed matter. Only two metallic and semi-metallic transport cases – aniline-derived polyaniline (PANI) and thiophene-derived poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) – have been reported since the development of CPs for four decades. Controllable synthesis is a key challenge in discovering more cases. Here we report the metallic-like transport behavior of another CP, polypyrrole (PPy). We observe that the transport behavior of PPy changes from semiconductor to insulator-metal transition, and gradually realizes metallic-like performance when the crystalline degree increases. Using a generalized Einstein relation model, we rationalized the mechanism behind the observation. The metallic-like transport in PPy demonstrates electron strong correlation and phonon-electron interaction in soft condensation matter, and may find practical applications of CPs in electrics and spintronics.

Abstract: The fundamental goal of this postulation is to introduce various models for single also as numerous inquiry handling in the Distributed data set framework which brings about less question handling cost. One of the significant issues in the plan and execution of Distributed Information Base Management Systems (DDBMS) is productive inquiry handling. The objective of dispersed inquiry improvement decreases to minimization of measure of information to be communicated among destinations for handling a given inquiry. The issue of question handling in DDBS (1 1) has been concentrated broadly in writing. In the greater part of calculations, the capability of the question will contain a grouping of tasks. In such cases, while executing tasks from right to left, as per the request for tasks in arrangement, the aftereffect of an activity might be an operand to the next activity. Since the tasks are subject to each other, at a moment in particular one activity at one site will be executed despite the fact that the climate is dispersed. Then frameworks at any remaining locales will be inactive for this inquiry. Another model, Totally Reducible Relation Model (CRK Medel), which permits parallelism and processes numerous tasks all the while at all important locales is introduced. It is expected that the tasks are in the type of conjunctions. So every activity can be handled freely. In this model at some moment, relations at every single significant site will be totally diminished by relating sets of every appropriate activity (Determinations, Semijoins and Joins) all the while. Thus, every connection will be checked just a single time to deal with all appropriate tasks by decreasing VO cost.

In the era of Industry 4.0 and 5G, various dance music websites provide thousands of dances and songs, which meet people's needs for dance music and bring great convenience to people. However, the rapid development of dance music has caused the overload of dance music information. Faced with a large number of dances and songs, it is difficult for people to quickly find dance music that conforms to their own interests. The emergence of dance music recommendation system can recommend dance music that users may like and help users quickly discover or find their favorite dances and songs. This kind of recommendation service can provide users with a good experience and bring commercial benefits, so the field of dance music recommendation has become the research direction of industry and scholars. According to different groups of individual aesthetic standards of dance music, this paper introduces the idea of relation learning into dance music recommendation system and applies the relation model to dance music recommendation. In the experiment, the accuracy and recall rate are used to verify the effectiveness of the model in the direction of dance music recommendation.

The tire forces of vehicles will fall into the non-linear region under extreme handling conditions, which cause poor path tracking performance. In this paper, a model predictive controller based on a nonlinear tire model is designed. The tire forces are characterized with nonlinear composite functions of the magic formula instead of a simple linear relation model. Taylor expansion is used to linearize the controller, the first-order difference quotient method is used for discretization, and the partial derivative of the composite function is used for matrix transformation. Constant velocity and variable velocity conditions are selected to compare the designed controller with the conventional controller in Carsim/Simulink. The results show that when the tire forces fall in the nonlinear region, two controllers have good stability, and the tracking accuracy of the controller designed in this paper is slightly better. However, after the tire forces become nonlinear, the controller with linear tire force becomes worse, the tracking accuracy is far worse than the controller with the nonlinear tire model, and the vehicle stability is also degraded. In addition, an active steering test platform based on LabVIEW-RT is established, and hardware-in-the-loop tests are carried out. The effectiveness of the designed controller is verified.

To measure the gray relation between the core competence of research universities and its influencing factors, this paper took the same period statistical data of the five research universities directly subordinate to the Ministry of Education of China as the research samples, all these five schools were shortlisted in the “World Top 300” rankings of USNews, QS, THE, and ARWU from 2014 to 2018, and the indicator systems of the four authoritative lists were taken as the basis; 30 representative indicators affecting the core competence of research universities were selected, and the gray relation model was adopted for the research; moreover, this paper applied the information entropy method to calculate the weight of each indicator and estimate the comprehensive gray relation between the core competence of research universities and the entire factor system. This research gives the rankings of the influencing factors of the core competence of research universities, and there is a 0.8485 degree comprehensive gray relation between the influencing factors and the core competence of research universities, which has further clarified the future development direction of research universities.

The Mediterranean stony coral Cladocora caespitosa (Linnaeus, 1767) is a well-known habitat builder, and as such hosts a diversified faunal assemblage. Although polychaetes are one of the most abundant and diverse macrobenthic groups associated with C. caespitosa colonies, our knowledge of their ecological features in this association is still limited. The aim of this paper was to gather and compare the most comprehensive data available on polychaetes associated with C. caespitosa in the Adriatic and the Aegean Seas, and to test for differences between these geographic areas. To this end, differences were tested in terms of: (i) richness and structure of polychaete assemblages; (ii) feeding and functional traits of assemblages; (iii) the main factors influencing those aspects, (iv) the relationship between polychaete assemblages richness and Cladocora colony size, and estimate richness. Differences were observed between the Adriatic and the Aegean Seas, in terms of richness, species composition and relative proportion of the dominant feeding guild (filter feeders most abundant in the Aegean and carnivores in the Adriatic) and motility mode (sessile most abundant in the Aegean and motile in the Adriatic). Conversely, cosmopolitan and Atlanto-Mediterranean species dominated the assemblages in both geographic areas, and the same Species-Area Relation model proved to be effective for richness estimation in both geographic areas.
