Integrated Health Post for the elderly (Posbindu) has been carried out to improve the health status of the elderly, but Posbindu’s utilization is still unsatisfactory. Satisfaction of the elderly towards the health care provided at the Posbindu contributed to their adherence. So far there is no instrument to measure the level of elderly satisfaction. The objectives of the study were to develop and assess the validity and reliability of the elderly satisfaction towards the integrated health post questionnaire using Rasch modeling. A cross-sectional study was carried out on 202 elderly from 16 Posbindu in Bandung, Indonesia. This study was performed from August to December 2019. The questionnaire was developed from a qualitative study, consisted of 36 items that covered the satisfaction concepts of structure, process, and output. Nine analytic tests were carried out, namely, the person fit order, person reliability, Cronbach's alpha, item reliability, item fit order, separation, the Wright map analysis, rating scale, and the differential item functioning as implemented by the Winstep version 3.73 software. Overall, the questionnaire demonstrated promising results. The overall value of person reliability was 0.93 with Cronbach's alpha of 0.96 and the value of item reliability was 0.94. However, 3 items were misfits and should be considered to be revised or removed. Further studies involving various regions in Indonesia should be carried out before this questionnaire is used in Indonesia

The availability of instruments for seeking professional help is crucial in identifying potential delays and failures to seek mental health help. The current study aims to adapt an Indonesian version of the Attitudes toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help-Short Form (ATSPPH-SF) scale and evaluate its psychometric properties using a Rasch modeling approach. Adaptation of the Indonesian scale was carried out in collaboration with a panel of experts under the guidelines of the International Translating Commission. The psychometric evaluation involved 951 respondents (M = 243, F = 708) who participated through an online survey. The results of the Rasch modeling showed that the items of the Indonesian ATSPPH-SF had a good fit with the model. The response categories worked well and reliability was sufficient (item=1, respondent=.59, Cronbach's alpha=.67). This paper highlighted that the ATSPPH-SF Indonesia version is suggested to be valid and reliable. We concluded that ATSPPH-SF can be used in mental health professional help-seeking research in Indonesia.

Abstract. The goal of this research is to find an instrument that is able to accurately measure the teacher's professional commitment variable as well as provide recommendations to improve it. This research design uses quantitative research with data acquisition through research instruments filled by 449 teachers from the territory of Indonesia through purposive sampling method and data analysis technique using Rasch Modeling. The research instrument before being used was first assessed by experts (expert judgment) and tested on 10 teachers. The reseach found: (1) There were 10 statement items that were proven to be able to accurately measure the teacher's professional commitment variable; (2) Some actions are recommended to increase teacher professional commitment: (i) encourage teachers to commit to completing tasks that exceed the standards set by the school; (ii) encourage teachers to be more actively involved in teacher professional activities; (iii) encourage teachers to internalize school values; (iv) encourage teachers to complete all tasks in school; and (v) encourage teachers to have the ability to adapt to various changes in education. Keywords: professional commitment, Rasch Modeling, teacher commitment Abstrak.

BACKGROUND The World Health Organization (WHO) has developed the WHOQOL-OLD instrument, specifically measuring the quality of life (QoL) of the elderly, but the Indonesian version of the WHOQOL-OLD has not been available. METHODS This study was conducted in 2 steps. First, the instrument was translated and pre-tested to 8 elderly respondents from 2 villages in Lembang, West Java, Indonesia. Second, Rasch modeling was used as implemented by the Winstep version 3.73 software to analyze the reliability, validity, value of separation, Wright map analysis, item-fit order, and differential item functioning in elderly respondents (aged ≥60 years old and did not have dementia) from 6 community health centers in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung, Indonesia from July to December 2018. RESULTS Overall, the Indonesian version of the WHOQOL-OLD demonstrated good reliability and validity tests in 175 respondents. The overall value of the person reliability was 0.73 with the Cronbach’s alpha of 0.75, and the value of the item reliability was 0.97. A misconception and bias occurred in the death and dying facet, especially in the demographic categories of age, gender, and marital status. CONCLUSIONS The Indonesian version of the WHOQOL-OLD module has good psychometric properties to measure the QoL of the Indonesian older population. However, further studies involving various ethnicities, religious groups, and districts in Indonesia should be carried out before the module can be used throughout the country.

Aim: Faces pain scales are widely used to measure pain. So far, no faces pain scale has ever been constructed by Rasch modeling. Hence the authors aimed to construct a new scale by this method. Methods: Rasch modeling was used to provide an initial calibration and development of the ‘Balparda–Herrera Pain Scale’ (BHPS) and this scale was compared with the existing Faces Pain Scale – Revised. The scale was later refined. Results: Both the existing scale and the initial version of the BHPS required category collapsing. Statistical tests demonstrated an excellent concordance between both scales. The final version of the BHPS was found to behave excellently and to be capable of adequately measuring pain. Conclusion: The BHPS provides an excellent instrument for measuring pain in the adult population.
