This study was conducted to determine the acceptability of developed yambo (Syzygiumjambos) fruit as tea-substitute as evaluated by the taste panelists based on its sensory quality. The researcher harvested ripe fruits of yambo from different barangays of Cavinti, Laguna, along the river side and lake shore. Boiled tea was submitted for microbial analysis to test the safety of the product. This research emphasizes that underutilized fruits like yambo can be developed into other products which serve as an eye opener for its value. This study sought answers to the following questions: (1) Is yambo fruit can be made or developed as tea? (2) Is yambo fruit tea safe to drink by the panelists in terms of microbial present? (3) What are the levels of acceptability of yambo fruit tea-substitute in terms of color, aroma, flavor, consistency and general acceptability? (4) Is there significant difference in the acceptability of developed yambo based on the profile of the panelists? and (5) Is there significant difference in the degree of acceptability of developed yamboas tea-substitute according to its level in grams?Yambo fruit was developed into tea. Experimental method was employed to answer the above stated problems. There are 4 treatments. Each one has variation of tea content per bag but mixed with same amount of sugar. A score- sheet was used to test its acceptability using the five parameters. Yambo fruit tea was prepared by applying the following procedures: collection of yambo fruit, weighing, blanching, cutting, cabinet drying, pin milling, and packaging. Findings of the study disclosed that all the treatments are acceptable but the treatment which has 10 grams of yambo emerged as the most highly acceptable among the taste panelists irrespective of sex and age.Further, the study limits its scope only on the microbial analysis of yambo as fruit tea-substitute. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct further studies on the toxicity level and shelf - life of the tea.

The task of real-time alignment between a music performance and the corresponding score (sheet music), also known as score following, poses a challenging multi-modal machine learning problem. Training a system that can solve this task robustly with live audio and real sheet music (i.e., scans or score images) requires precise ground truth alignments between audio and note-coordinate positions in the score sheet images. However, these kinds of annotations are difficult and costly to obtain, which is why research in this area mainly utilizes synthetic audio and sheet images to train and evaluate score following systems. In this work, we propose a method that does not solely rely on note alignments but is additionally capable of leveraging data with annotations of lower granularity, such as bar or score system alignments. This allows us to use a large collection of real-world piano performance recordings coarsely aligned to scanned score sheet images and, as a consequence, improve over current state-of-the-art approaches.

This work aims to help managers anticipate, detect, and keep under control complex situations before facing negative consequences. This article explores complexity modeling theory and develops a framework and associated score sheet to measure project complexity. A framework comprising ninety factors is presented and divided into seven categories: stakeholders, project team, project governance, product, project characteristics, resources, and environment. For the project complexity assessment grid, the project manager prioritizes and weighs its factors using linguistic variables. The score sheet is customizable in its handling of the factors and their weights. A critical state of the art on multi-criteria methodologies is presented, as well as reasons for using the fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method. This method provides early-warning signs with the possibility of comparing multiple projects. It also enables one to measure and prioritize areas and domains where complexity may have the highest impact. Practical applications on three projects within an automotive manufacturer highlight the benefits of such an approach for managers. Project managers could use both a project complexity rating system and a measure of risk criticality to decide on the level of proactive actions needed. This research work differs from traditional approaches that have linked proactive actions to risk criticality but not project complexity.

Understanding early preterm infants’ strengths, vulnerabilities, thresholds to stress and disorganization, and behavioural state regulation is of great importance in view of the daily care in the NICU and stabilization of preterm infants. Preterm infants display observable behaviours along three main systems: the autonomic, the motor and the state systems. These behaviours according to the NIDCAP method are coded and recorded on a score sheet based on naturalistic observation, performed with unaided eyes.

Severity assessment in biomedical research is required by the European authorities. Therefore, a variety of score sheets are available. The first score sheets were designed and introduced by Morton and Griffith (M&G) in 1985, to assess pain and distress in animals. Score sheets are an important part of the 3R principles to evaluate the degree of severity in different studies. Here, we used a modified score sheet from M&G for severity assessment of 12 Aachen minipigs after partial liver resection for safety testing of a novel synthetic sealant (VIVO-107). The control group was treated with the clinical standard fibrin. Estimation of recovery status of both groups was performed from the day of surgery to postoperative day 7 using a score sheet. Included parameters were blood loss during the surgical procedure, general state, spontaneous behaviour and clinical results. Values from 0 to 20 were graded for each category and resulted in the degree of strain (DS) from DS0 to DS4. An increasing DS indicated higher severity. Suitability of the implemented score sheet was evaluated. Higher score points were documented almost exclusively as an outcome of the clinical results, influenced mainly by increased temperature in the fibrin treated control group, whereas, spontaneous behaviour had only slight influence and general state had no influence. The average score seven days after surgery was <2. The laparotomy, where the partial liver resection is a part, is rated as moderate severity in the EU Directive 2010/63, while the assessment done in the present study hints to a mild severity of the model in our hands.
