<span lang="EN-US">Among the several ways followed for detecting Parkinson's disease, there is the one based on the speech signal, which is a symptom of this disease. In this paper focusing on the signal analysis, a data of voice records has been used. In these records, the patients were asked to utter vowels “a”, “o”, and “u”. Discrete wavelet transforms (DWT) applied to the speech signal to fetch the variable resolution that could hide the most important information about the patients. From the approximation a3 obtained by Daubechies wavelet at the scale 2 level 3, 21 features have been extracted: a <a name="_Hlk88480766"></a>linear predictive coding (LPC), energy, zero-crossing rate (ZCR), mel frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC), and wavelet Shannon entropy. Then for the classification, the K-nearest neighbour (KNN) has been used. The KNN is a type of instance-based learning that can make a decision based on approximated local functions, besides the ensemble learning. However, through the learning process, the choice of the training features can have a significant impact on overall the process. So, here it stands out the role of the genetic algorithm (GA) to select the best training features that give the best accurate classification.</span>

Abstract Brain-inspired neuromorphic computing has been extensively researched, taking advantage of increased computer power, the acquisition of massive data, and algorithm optimization. Neuromorphic computing requires mimicking synaptic plasticity and enables near-in-sensor computing. In synaptic transistors, how to elaborate and examine the link between microstructure and characteristics is a major difficulty. Due to the absence of interlayer shielding effects, defect-free interfaces, and wide spectrum responses, reducing the thickness of organic crystals to the 2D limit has a lot of application possibilities in this computing paradigm. This paper presents an update on the progress of 2D organic crystal-based transistors for data storage and neuromorphic computing. The promises and synthesis methodologies of 2D organic crystals are summarized. Following that, applications of 2D organic crystals for ferroelectric nonvolatile memory, circuit-type optoelectronic synapses, and neuromorphic computing are addressed. Finally, new insights and challenges for the field's future prospects are presented, pushing the boundaries of neuromorphic computing even farther.

Aiming at the problems of low optimization accuracy, poor optimization effect, and long running time in current teaching optimization algorithms, a multiclass interactive martial arts teaching optimization method based on the Euclidean distance is proposed. Using the K-means algorithm, the initial population is divided into several subgroups based on the Euclidean distance, so as to effectively use the information of the population neighborhood and strengthen the local search ability of the algorithm. Imitating the school's selection of excellent teachers to guide students with poor performance, after the “teaching” stage, the worst individual in each subgroup will learn from the best individual in the population, and the information interaction in the evolutionary process will be enhanced, so that the poor individuals will quickly move closer to the best individuals. According to different learning levels and situations of students, different teaching stages and contents are divided, mainly by grade, supplemented by different types of learning groups in the form of random matching, so as to improve the learning ability of members with weak learning ability in each group, which effectively guarantees the diversity of the population and realizes multiclass interactive martial arts teaching optimization. Experimental results show that the optimization effect of the proposed method is better, which can effectively improve the accuracy of algorithm optimization and shorten the running time of the algorithm.

In order to detect the assembly quality of the combine harvester accurately and effectively, a method for the assembly quality inspection of the combine harvester based on the improved whale algorithm (IWOA) to optimize the least square support vector machine is proposed. Aiming at the characteristics of whale optimization algorithm’s weak search ability and easy maturity, this paper introduces the cosine control factor and the sine time-varying adaptive weight to improve it and uses the benchmark function to verify the general adaptability of the algorithm. Combined with the local mean decomposition (LMD), the assembly quality inspection model of the combine harvester was established and applied to the Dongfanghong 4LZ-9A2 combine harvester for experimental verification. The experimental results show that the IWOA proposed in this paper has better optimization ability and adaptability. The average accuracy of the IWOA model proposed in this paper reaches 90.5%, which is 4% higher than that of the WOA model, and the standard deviation of the average accuracy is reduced by 0.15%, which indicates that the IWOA model has better stability.

The edge is the most significant information in image processing applications. Moreover, and the accurate and continue edge commonly leads to accurate related steps like object tracking and region clustering. In fact, it is the first step of image analysis and understanding. The accuracy edge detection results have an impact on the comprehension machine system. In this paper we present various improved edge detection techniques by our research team, of similar color and grey level images, using the information theory approach based on other energy information inspired from Shannon entropy and utilizing as well the metaheuristic and intelligent method combined with multilevel thresholding approach in various color spaces, and like the ant colony optimization with the graph cut approach for indexing images before the segmentation step. In addition, particular swarm optimization is done, and finally the fuzzy technique is used. The effectiveness and accuracy of these approaches are evaluated by many metric measurements and compared with the common operators. The PR metric, has a significant mean value (about 20) than PR of Canny operator (about 9). And also, we can denote that all improved techniques achieve significant results with ameliorated running time.
