The overall objective of the study is to determine the influence of various factors on the tightness of frame-based buildings. The study presents airtightness tests—Blow Doors Tests of single-family residential buildings made in the prefabricated wood frame technology. Primarily, the impact of selected quantitative and qualitative parameters on the determined quantity n50 was defined. For that purpose, correlation analyses were performed and the statistical hypothesis stating that there is no statistically significant linear relationship between n50 (a multiplication factor of air exchange in the building effected by pressure difference of 50 Pa) and the specified qualitative and quantitative parameters was verified. The hypothesis was verified using the F and χ2 statistics. The studies demonstrated that there are no grounds to reject the research hypothesis. The obtained results formulate a comprehensive conclusion that allows to test the tightness of buildings made in the prefabricated wood frame technology and makes the tightness results independent of many features of the examined building. Ultimately, the tightness results are only dependent on the leak of the examined object. They do not depend on roof structure, wall system, floor area, cubature, number of window openings, porch.

We reveal means of knowledge representation (frame, script and plan) and M. Minskiy’s hierarchical structure of the frame. It highlights different means of applying the frame theory to the native pedagogics as a frame pedagogical technology which enables students to enlarge the volume of knowledge under study without enlarging the volume of time spent on it; as a way of arranging the vocabulary necessary for a text comprehension and as a way of compiling a student’s dictionary. We offer a hyperframe model “A Manual for Master’s Degree Students in International Relations”. We analyze stereotypical and structural lexical and semantic features of mass media texts included into this hyperframe. We focus on the stereotypical structure of exercises and tasks circulating in the hyperframe: pre-text, text and after-text. The article stresses the importance of stereotypical tasks in each module, like “Agree/Disagree” and “Discussion Points” in order to further develop the soft skills of the 21st century. We offer Quizlet as a way of electronic means of learning new vocabulary and prove the necessity of including tasks aimed at the development of academic writing. The study also points out the pedagogical technology “Flipped Classroom” as one of the methods of working with the textbooks for Reading.

Curtain walls are widely used in the epidermis of buildings. At present, the unit curtain wall system production frame is mainly aluminum profile. But taking into account the weak aluminum strength and soft characteristics, the existing curtain wall often ensure the frame carrying capacity by increasing the amount of aluminum per unit area, which makes the high curtain wall costs. At the same time, the nodes of its production process are complex and require higher functions of production equipment. In this paper, a unit curtain wall system of steel-aluminum combination is proposed, which has the characteristics of simple construction, processing and installation, consisting of three key technologies including new steel-aluminum material combined with keel frame technology, glass curtain wall installation technology and cross-stitch node waterproofing technology. The system (1) in the construction, the integration of the concept of just soft. The unit structure of “steel column and aluminum profile” plays an advantage of high steel structure strength to ensure carrying capacity. In addition, the aluminum profile is fully plastic and the shape can be controlled. (2) In the production mode, the unit curtain wall is prefabricated by factory flow watering, and the processes are independent of each other, which is convenient for organizing processing equipment. (3) In the installation, the roof ring track and hoist are used to lift the unit plate, which avoids adverse shaking and rotation, reduces the risk of high-altitude operation and shortens the duration. This technology is of great reference significance to the construction of curtain wall of high rise buildings.

With ASF (Audi Space Frame) technology, Audi has completely reinvented the body construction using aluminum as a material and a concept adapted to light metal. ASF technology has undergone developments that efficiently exploit the knowledge accumulated from the efficient use of aluminum alloys, the optimization of casting and profiling processes, to the most appropriate techniques for joining components. The paper analyzes the main technical and technological developments adopted by Audi in designing and manufacturing the aluminum space frame for the car body.

<p>Conventional single family houses in Poland are being built in the improved traditional construction technology with massive load-bearing structure created by masonry walls made of ceramic , silicate or aerated concrete blocks, concrete foundations, concrete rib-and-slab floor and pitched timber or concrete flat roof. Expanded polystyrene and mineral wool are being used as thermal insulation. Such solution is very time- consuming and costly due to more and more expensive manpower. The change in economy from communism to free market caused the beginning of modern thinking about construction technology for family house to be light, eco-friendly, innovative and low-cost. The definition of the term “affordable” in relation to single family housing, as well as the socio-economical background for the low-cost housing in Poland is presented. The paper presents proposal of low-cost family house construction built in light steel frame technology. The supporting structure is composed of steel frame made of cold-formed galvanized C shape profiles. Externally the steel frame is covered with cement bonded particle boards, covered with polystyrene insulation and finishing coat according to ETICS system. From the inside the steel frame is covered with plasterboards. The main thermal insulation of the building is created by mineral wool filling the interior spaces of walls, ceiling and roof panels. Comparison of the total construction costs of a 136 sq m building made in light steel frame technology with buildings of identical dimensions made in other, popular and available traditional technologies showed that a steel technology is approx. 10-20 percent cheaper. The paper presents also the comparison of the low-cost model steel structure houses worked out in Czech Republic, Portugal, Romania and Brazil, including technical parameters, structure type and cost of erection.</p>

Understanding how people use technology remains important, particularly when measuring the impact this might have on individuals and society. However, despite a growing body of resources that can quantify smartphone use, research within psychology and social science overwhelmingly relies on self-reported assessments. These have yet to convincingly demonstrate an ability to predict objective behavior. Here, and for the first time, we compare a variety of smartphone use and ‘addiction’ scales with objective behaviors derived from Apple’s Screen Time application. While correlations between psychometric scales and objective behavior are generally poor, single estimates and measures that attempt to frame technology use as habitual rather than ‘addictive’ correlate more favorably with subsequent behavior. We conclude that existing self-report instruments are unlikely to be sensitive enough to accurately predict basic technology use related behaviors. As a result, conclusions regarding the psychological impact of technology are unreliable when relying solely on these measures to quantify typical usage.

Mobile phones are now popular in current society for its portability and intelligence, but excluded from life of the hearing-impaired because sounds are unavailable for them. This paper provides a framework of speech based Chinese Sign Language (CSL) Animation System on Smart Phones, which combines speech recognition and sign language animation to make phones convenient for the hearing-impaired. This paper recognizes the Chinese speech into text first, and then proposes a HMMSVM model to judge interrogative expression from the speech and rewrites the plain text as mark-up text according to the rules of Chinese Sign Language Mark-up Language (CSLML) which provides signs for recording expressive context in the text, the corresponding animation is finally synthesized using key-frame technology. The prototype system based on the framework provided in this paper gives plausible Sign Language animation.

This paper introduces the College Employment Network system architecture and application of key technologies , applied research on the part of the innovative technical, focuses on the system requirements analysis and design implementation. At the same time, employment site change employment websites to focus only on release of employment information in the past, focus on improving students' ability to work in employment,Establish between business with graduates. Both JSP engine, Oracle has built for the back-end database server information interactive website,it will improve the efficiency and quality of traditional employment information, realize exchange of information between students, teachers, and parents. Practice has proved that Usefulness of the system has a very stable and achieve the expected goals of the system design.
