Criticism, or "to criticize" derives from the Greek krinein meant to distinguish, which is to separate, to silt, to make a distinction. The word "theory" comes from the philosophical Latin term "theoria" meaning spectator, while in modern days means the attempt to decide architectural right and wrong on a purely intellectual base. Pedagogically architecture students participating in a review learn from whoever provides useful criticism benefiting from critiques or reviews. This research in comparison to the ones that went through focuses on Architectural Criticism and Architectural Theory and which one stems from the other, their significance in architectural education in form of crit or review and shows a road map of how reviews are to take place by their different constituents. The purpose of the paper is to see whether the architectural theory is stemming from architectural criticism and whether it’s employed in architectural education. The methodology of this paper depends on both theoretical and analytical studies through three major fields; architectural criticism, architectural theory, and the analytical study of architectural education in form of critique or review. Finally, the paper concludes by linking architectural education mostly in its architectural design projects critique or review form with architectural theory and its dependence upon architectural criticism.

Manganese and cobalt complexes have been designed and prepared with a tetradentate ligand i.e. isopthalic acid-bis(thiosemicarbozone) (IPBT), which bind to metal ions via donor atoms present in ligand. Different spectroscopic techniques viz. nuclear magnetic resonance, infra red, mass, electronic spin resonance and analytical studies have been used to determine the chemical composition of synthesized IPBT and its Mn(II) and Co(II) complexes. The spectroscopic data exposed that IPBT behaves in a tetradentate (N2S2) mode by having ability to bind with metal ions through N2S2 atoms. An octahedral structure for manganese and cobalt complexes has been suggested on the basis of spectroscopic as well as analytical studies. The ligand (IPBT) and its metal(II) complexes have been screened to determine their antipathogenic activity against some selective microorganisms S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, A. niger, M. phasolina and P. glomerata. In this experimental work, well diffusion and poisoned food techniques have been introduced for screening purpose and as standard drugs neomycin and chlorothalonil have been used. Data for antipathogenic screening exposed that metal complexes exerted higher activity towards all examined microbes (bacteria and fungi) even than ligand.

This research examines narrative theology, which began to develop in the 1970s in the United States, and is now widely practiced in theological discourses, including in Indonesia. This theology, sometimes called postliberal theology, uses the postmodern interpretation paradigm, which seeks the meaning “in front of” the text (readers-oriented). The intended readers are the community, who have the same language, culture, and traditions. It turns out that narrative theology, which initially served as a theological reflection on Christianity’s claims to the biblical texts, has shifted into a hermeneutical lens in reading the biblical texts. Using analytical studies of library research and systematic review, the author discusses the contours of narrative theology starting from the thoughts of its pioneers (such as Hans W. Frei, George A. Lindbeck, Stanley Hauerwas, and Sally McFague), describing its characteristics, and evaluating them. The analysis results are presented in two points. The first is an appreciation of the contributions of narrative theology, i.e., simple-practical, confessional-dogmatic, relational, and inductive. The second is an evaluation of some reductive aspects of narrative theology, i.e., postmodern hermeneutics; a disregard of historicity and genre diversity; traditional-dogmatic fideism; sectarianism; and pragmatism.

Abstract The amino {4-hydroxy-3-[(E)-{4-[(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl) sulfamoyl] phenyl} diazenyl] phenyl} acetic acid (1) and the amino {4-hydroxy-3,5-bis[(E)-{4-[(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl) sulfamoyl] phenyl} diazenyl] phenyl} acetic acid (2) were Prepared. The resulting azo and diazo dyes were then characterized using m.p., IR, UV-visible, mass spectrum and 1H-NMR spectrum. Analytical studies were carried on the azo dye (1) and the diazo dye (2). The best solubility of (1) and (2) was in methanol and ethyl acetate respectively, with no deviation from the linear relationship in each dye, which is due to the fact that the effect of the dielectric constant is the main factor that can control the shift of the absorption beaks. Though, the pH effects of (1) and (2) in a range of buffer solution were showed one and two isopiestic points respectively. Calculation of the ionization (pKa) and the protonation (pKp) constants by using the half height method was associated to the nitrogen atom and the OH-groups respectively. The pKp1, pKa1 and pKa2 were also intended. But, the value of the pKp2 was absent in the azo dye (1) and seems to be equal to 2.5 in the diazo dye (2). These results were indicated the suggested ionization scheme in acidic and basic medium of each dye. Furthermore, the dyes with different concentrations have harmless, nontoxic and no haemolysis effects.
