This research was motivated by anxiety of the author about the rapid changes, includingchanges in the self and mind of human. Therefore, new ideas that fit with the era of human nature was needed. Within that framework, author chose Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche thought about human as a topic of the Philosophy of Human study.This is a library research that uses Philosophy of Human as a formal object, while thematerial object is Nietzsche's thought of superhuman. The Elements to dissect this research methodically is hermeneutics and heuristics. The results that obtained from the research are: (1) Nietzsche was powerfully explores discourses about the matter of existentialism (freedom, death, fear, worry, suffering, human dreams, mundane conditions (spacing and timing/historical). The doctrine of Nietzsche stems from a concrete understanding of man and his life. Main teaching Nietzsche is willto power that can be achieve in the idea of an ideal superior human or Ubermensch. It isasserted that the existence of human is his/her will (human will desire) that beyond theratio. Nietzsche was a spirit that transcends his time (modern rationality). (2) The ways toachieve superior human is with the three basic components, i.e. courage, intelligence and pride. Human must have the courage to face life, both happiness nor suffering. Nietzsche asserts that with suffering, humans will reach his/her fullest potential, because when confronted with conflict, human can release all the potential and ability that will help him/her to become Ubermensch.
