Son muy escasos los ejemplos que han llegado hasta nuestros días del repertorio profano en castellano que se compuso y practicó en la península ibérica durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVI, fundamentalmente constituido por villancicos y madrigales. En este artículo se presenta una nueva fuente musical, aunque incompleta, de este repertorio localizada en el Arxiu Històric de Girona. Se trata de un librete de parte individual que contiene 13 madrigales, 8 villancicos, 1 villanesca napolitana y otra pieza incompleta no clasificable, entre los que se cuentan dieciete unica. Los poemas musicados identificados pertenecen a Garcilaso de la Vega, Juan Boscán, Jorge de Montemayor y Pêro de Andrade Caminha. El manuscrito atribuye algunas autorías musicales a Nicasi Sorita, Pedro Ortega y Francisco Guerrero. Las concordancias en otras fuentes permiten añadir en esta lista a Pedro Guerrero, Juan Navarro y Roger Pathie o Adrian Willaert.

Inca Garcilaso de la Vega is perhaps one of the most racially conscious authors of early modernity. In fact, he is the first American-born author to self-identify as a direct descendant of a colonized indigenous nation. As such, Inca Garcilaso understood well the epistemic implications of his biracial and bicultural status (his mestizo condition). Most literary critics have analyzed the incessant reiteration of his mestizaje throughout his texts as a way of countering the racist colonial labels imposed on Amerindians and their descendants. However, there is a complex and somewhat contradictory usage of racial terminology throughout his works. Sometimes Garcilaso claims to be a mestizo, sometimes an Indian, and at times he seems to only highlight his Spanish heritage, depending on the situation. In this sense, Inca Garcilaso’s depiction of his authorial persona is not a straightforward decolonial counter-discourse. Instead, I argue that the Inca Garcilaso that appears in his texts is a fictional author whose deliberately inconsistent use of the different racial labels amounts to a modern decolonial strategy: a critique that ironizes the traditional meaning of racial labels, thus destabilizing their epistemic status. In this paper, I aim to flesh out Garcilaso’s complex decolonial strategy, through a literary reading of his authorial persona.

This paper focuses on the references to Garcilaso de la Vega in Don Quixote, particularly in the second part, dated 1615. The aim of this study is to highlight the mechanism used by Cervantes to make Garcilaso’s verses an efficient tool for the dispute that his Quixote holds with Avellaneda’s text. From this perspective, I inquire into the way Cervantes builds himself as a reader of the classic writer, and sets his own writing on that trail. Garcilaso’s work is useful to him, among other things, to raise a discussion on the survival of texts for posterity.

<p>詩歌是人類歷史上最古老的文體,它幾乎與人類文明同步出現。然而,由於歷史文化和民族性格的差異,中西方的文學作品往往風格迥異。即使是同一文學體裁,中西方文學的風格也可能大相徑庭。本文將選取西班牙黃金時代代表詩人加爾西拉索.德.拉.維加和中國第一位山水田園派詩人陶淵明的部分作品加以分析對比。分析詩歌的表現手法和內容等方面的異同點。結合各自的社會環境和文化傳統,最終得出結論&mdash;&mdash;影響異同點產生的因素。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><p>The poetry is one of the oldest forms of literature. It was born almost simultaneously with human civilization. However, due to the differences in historical culture and national character, the style of the same literary genre may be different in China and in the West. This work will analyse and compare some works of Garcilaso de la Vega, a Spanish poet of the Golden Age with some poems of Tao Yuanming, the first Chinese poet of idyllic poetry. The similarities and differences in the expression and content of poetry will be analysed, combining their respective social contexts and cultural traditions. Finally, the conclusion will be reached: what are the factors that contribute to the similarities and differences.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

This article is interested in writers and literary traditions that have influenced García Márquez, whether stylistically or structurally, culturally or historically, or all of these. The article pays attention to the author’s comments and his appropriations of specific precursors, especially as he acknowledges them in his autobiography Living to Tell the Tale (2002). It takes Jorge Luis Borges’s tack and suggests that the process of influence moves back as well as forward in time, that influence is reciprocal and precursors may be influenced by García Márquez as well as influencing him. Among the dozens of authors who both influence and are influenced by García Márquez are Faulkner, Kafka, Garcilaso de la Vega, and Spanish baroque poets and playwrights. The article also discusses the influence of his grandmother’s storytelling and the deeply embedded cultural influence of Catholicism in Colombia. By attending to García Márquez’s complex relation with his precursors, the article shows that one may justifiably speak of una tradición gabrielina.

This contribution treats the historical representations of the encounter between the Inca King Atahualpa and the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro on november 16th, 1532, in the Peruvian town of Cajamarca which was one of the decisive turning points of the Spanish conquest of South America. After theoretical and methodological reflections on the relations between intercultural communication processes and cultural transfers in the context of the conquista, it focuses first on the various contemporary Spanish discourses on the event of November 16th, 1532, which represented predominantly an official ideological version of it. In a further step are analyzed the new 18th-century discourses, influenced by different historical sources, like the work of Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, which reveal very different ‘constructions’, based on a transcultural network of cultural transfers and intercultural mediators, of this event.
