Objective: most healthy and unhealthy behaviors are acquired or consolidated during youth, thus a good investment in the future of any nation, should be to promote the development of young people, incorporating them into projects and programs that aspire to increase their subjective wellbeing and personal health. The Psycho-Educational Intervention (PEI) presented here has been shown to have effects on the health and wellbeing of students as well as on their academic performance. However, its effects on strength of character, emotional balance and emotional intelligence are unknown. Materials and methods: in this paper it was shows the effects of this PEI on positive education in a group of 18 students through three questionnaires: VIA-240, PANAS-20 and PIEMO. To estimate the effects of the PEI, a comparison was made between the scores obtained on the three questionnaires before and after the PEI sessions. Results: the results show that not only did character strengths, positive affect and emotional intelligence improve with PEI, but that also the character strengths and the emotional bearings arranged in a network topography changed with intervention. Also, there were some changes in the most connected nodes of the network. Conclusions: these results show that PEI improved the previous reported variables, they also show the way in which the balance of the positive and negative affects, the development of emotional intelligence and the enhancement of character strengths give access to the three pillars of positive psychology.

According to Stark, the motive of God’s glory provided the ideological basis for the Scientific Revolution. Smith argues that by the time that revolution began to spread to the human sciences in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, another revolution was emerging, with which the human sciences have become thoroughly confounded, the Secular Revolution. Following MacIntyre, Johnson suggests that this confounding has created a crisis for the Christian intellectual and soul-care traditions, but one that was largely self-inflicted. One of the consequences of this crisis has been a serious wound/division in the Christian body regarding the relation between the Bible, and its theocentric worldview and way of life, and the current form of psychology and the therapeutic sciences (psychiatry, psychotherapy, and counseling). In this article, reasons are given for imagining one way the glory of God could again become a supreme motive among Christians in Western science, specifically psychology and the therapeutic sciences, that would help to overcome the current biblical knowledge/empirical knowledge dichotomy that afflicts the Christian community in these fields and could unify and empower it to develop Christian alternatives to their mainstream versions.

The formula for nurturing the soul always receives interesting discussions, likewise the SOS Children's Village as the largest non-governmental organization dedicated to caring for children who are abandoned and have lost their parents. The SOS Children's Village of Semarang believes that every child deserves to have a loving home by giving children supports they need to grow strong in sustaining life. This article focused on the discussion on how SOS Children's Village formulates ḥifẓ al-nafs by means of parenting styles applied in SOS. The phenomenological approach was used to see how the formulation of soul care was applied by SOS, so that the maintenance of the soul as a part of maqāṣid al-sharī'ah could be more unique due to the emphasis on applicative and empirical nourishment of the soul. SOS had three (3) work programs, namely family-based care, family strengthening programs, and disaster emergency response. The three programs were oriented towards fulfilling children's rights as an effort to nurture children's souls so that they could grow and develop like children with nuclear families, where children who lost their care would live in an SOS village with a substitute family. This concept of care involved a foster mother in each house as the center of care, other children as siblings in the family home, and the SOS Family Village. The forms of care provided by the foster mother included paying attention, supervising, interacting and giving support to the SOS children. Also, the values conveyed in this parenting included religion, love and affection, responsibility and discipline

Given the increasingly high percentage of child marriages/early marriages in Indonesia and the impact on humanitarian life which is none other than the younger generation of Indonesia's largest assets, therefore there is a need for regulations that regulate this, so that Law 1616 is enacted and has been ratified since October 14, 2019. This is in accordance with how Islam nourishes the soul (Hifz al-Nafs) and respects human dignity. The main problem in this discussion is how the formula of Soul Care (Hifz al-Nafs) in Law Number 16 Year 2019 as the implementation of Maqāṣid Al-Sharī'ah. With the change in the age limit of minimum marriage, the bride and groom are expected to have matured their body and soul to be able to carry out the marriage, so as to realize the purpose of marriage properly without ending in divorce and get healthy and quality offspring. It also can fulfill the rights of children so as to optimize children's growth and development including parental assistance and provide children access to the highest education possible. From the above explanation it can be concluded that the Care of the Soul (Hifz al-Nafs) of Law Number 16 Year 2019 is appropriate in the perspective of Islamic law (Maqāid Al-Sharī'ah), in which guarantees human rights, maintenance soul, and efforts to realize a sakinah family.
