Self-confidence is a person's belief in everything that is an aspect of his strengths and that belief makes him feel able to achieve various life goals and be able to adapt to his environment. Narrative counseling is able to deal with someone who experiences a distressing combination in conditions of severe pessimism, self-doubt, irritability, neglect, indifference, anxiety, anxiety and some feelings that indicate depression problems experienced by students. This research uses the type of experimental or experimental research (experimental research). The results showed that the self-confidence profile of MA Attaraqqie in Malang City had a moderate level of self-confidence. The results of the study also prove that the intervention carried out is sufficient

This study aims to describe (1) the negative self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency; (2) the implementation of narrative counseling to improve the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency; and (3) the impacts of the implementation of narrative counseling to improve the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency. This study used the quasi-experimental design with the quantitative approach. The sample of the study was 20 students in the 11th grade of Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews and analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The study found that the self-concept of most students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency was at the moderate level and there was quite a significant difference in the scores of the students’ self-concept before and after the application of narrative counseling. These results suggest that narrative counseling is effective in improving the self-concept of the students in Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang in Polewali Mandar Regency.

This literature-based article utilizes “siege” theory to describe the emotional pressures that families are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Applying an understanding of siege theory, counselors can better assist families in responding to the uncertainties and duration of this concern. To support families’ struggles to make sense of this threat, narrative counseling can assist families to sort the confusing dominant narratives being presented and author a narrative that honors family coping, resilience, and determination. Finally, the article offers ramifications for future research with families to begin to generate a model of coping in these uncertain times.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran konsep diri siswa, gambaran respon siswa terhadap konseling naratif di MAN Indramayu, serta pengaruh konseling naratif terhadap pembentukan konsep diri siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode statistika deskriptif, yaitu metode penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena-fenomena yang ada, baik fenomena alamiah maupun fenomena buatan manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran umum konsep diri siswa kelas XI MAN Indramayu berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 53%, 5% pada kategori rendah, dan 42% pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan, respon siswa terhadap konseling naratif menunjukan hasil bahwa 72% cukup puas, 28% sangat puas,dan 0% sangat tidak puas. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa  pengaruh antara konseling naratif terhadap pembentukan konsep diri siswa ini dapat dilihat dengan nilai pv  0,000 dengan persentase sebesar 27,8 %. Penggunaan konseling naratif dapat dikatakan cukup efektif dalam meminimalisir konsep diri negatif siswa.   This reseacrh aims to find out the description of students' self-concept, description of students' responses to narrative counseling in Indramayu MAN, and the influence of narrative counseling on students' self-concept formation. The method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical methods, namely research methods aimed at describing existing phenomena, both natural phenomena and man-made phenomena. The results showed a general description of the self-concept of students of class XI MAN Indramayu in the medium category with a percentage of 53%, 5% in the low category, and 42% in the high category. Meanwhile, students' responses to narrative counseling showed that 72% were quite satisfied, 28% were very satisfied, and 0% were very dissatisfied. The results of this study also show that the influence of narrative counseling on the formation of students' self-concept can be seen with a pv value of 0,000 with a percentage of 27.8%. The use of narrative counseling can be said to be quite effective in minimizing students' negative self-concept.

DEVELOPMENT OF NARRATIVE COUNSELING INTERVENTION OF DIGITAL-BASED IN RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGE OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION ERA 4.0. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 now provides changes that are fast and erratic in all aspects of life, including in the field of education, especially in the field of guidance and counseling. This condition brings opportunities as well as challenges, especially for the millennial generation and for actors who have a role in education, especially in the realm of guidance and counseling in the field in service delivery practices. Narrative counseling is a postmodern counseling approach born of ideas in a post-structuralist philosophy that is very coherent to answer conditions and situations of uncertain change. The purpose of this study is to develop and find out the development of digital-based narrative counseling in balancing changes in the all-going to the digital era, which is now a center for militaries. The method of research is using a qualitative approach to critical study methods. The results show an effective process for narrative counseling services with digitally based on every social media platform currently used by millennials.
