Abstract Aiming at the large-scale, compatibility and reliability problems faced by the data acquisition engineering for power consumption in the industrial field, for reducing the complexity and cost of the data acquisition engineering, and improving the quality, maintainability, scalability and manageability of the data acquisition, an engineering-oriented, intrusive, low-frequency data acquisition scheme for power consumption is proposed. The scheme leverages multi-agent networking technology to solve the large-scale problem, utilizes the communication driver of the dynamic loading adapter mode to tackle the compatibility trouble. Furthermore, the local storage, breakpoint retransmission, flow control, automatic recovery, automatic connection, and time synchronization are combined to solve the reliability issue. Engineering tests show that the proposed scheme possesses the significant backward compatibility characteristics, which can effectively reduce the complexity and cost of data acquisition engineering for power consumption, and significantly improve the quality, maintainability, scalability and manageability of data acquisition.

The aim of the research was to evaluate the structural validity of the Lithuanian version of the Sports Motivation Scale in the context of the disability sport. This study included 66 athletes with hearing and visual impairment (45 men and 21 women). The average age of the research participants was 26.5 ± 11.7 years, they used to participate in sport activity for 10.1 ± 7.6 years. Athletes who participated in the research were representatives of goalball, tennis, athletics, swimming, basketball and other sports. 39 athletes were prize winners in World and European championships. The participants of the research completed the questionnaire based on the Sports Motivation Scale (SMS) already adapted in Lithuania. Data were processed using Jamovi program. SMS psychometric parameters demonstrated good internal scale compatibility. In the confirmatory factor analysis, a 4-factor model suitable for data analysis (CFI – 0.881; TLI - 0.863; RMSEA - 0.0710; χ2 / df 1.439) was identified which comprised 20 SMS items. The structure of the model consisted of factors that characterize athletes' intrinsic motivation – “to discover” (1), intrinsic motivation – “to feel self-improvement” (2), extrinsic motivation – “need for social dependency” (3) and “amotivation” (4).

Tyrimo tikslas buvo įvertinti Sporto motyvacijos skalės lietuviškos versijos struktūrinį validumą neįgaliųjų sporto kontekste. Tyrime dalyvavo 66 klausos ir regos negalią turintys sportininkai (45 vyrai, 21 moterys). Vidutinis tyrimo dalyvių amžius buvo 26,5±11,7 m., treniruočių patirtis 10,1±7,6 m. Tyrime dalyvavę sportininkai atstovavo šioms sporto šakoms: golbolas, tenisas, lengvoji atletika, plaukimas, krepšinis et al. 39 sportininkai užėmė prizines vietas pasaulio ir Europos čempionatuose. Tyrimo dalyviai užpildė klausimyną, kurio pagrindą sudarė jau Lietuvoje adaptuota Sporto motyvacijos skalė (SMS). Duomenys apdoroti Jamovi programa. SMS psichometriniai parametrai parodė gera skalės vidinį suderinamumą. Atliekant patvirtinančiąja faktorinę analizę buvo išskirtas duomenų analizei tinkamas 4 faktorių modelis (CFI – 0,881; TLI – 0,863; RMSEA – 0,0710; χ2 / df 1,439); kurį sudarė 20 SMS teiginių. Modelio struktūrą sudarė faktoriai, kurie apibūdina sportininkų vidinę motyvaciją-atrasti (1), vidinė motyvacija-jausti tobulėjimą (2), išorinė motyvacija-socialinio priklausomumo poreikis (3) ir amotyvacija (4).

The system performances can be potentially enhanced for three-phase inverter parallel operation in droop-controlled AC microgrid by using network-based control, which also benefits for the extension of other control strategies in microgrids (MGs). It is highlighted that some negative factors such as network-induced time-delays and data dropouts would possibly degrade the system operation. In this paper, the comprehensive analysis of network-based control strategy with strong robustness and wide time-scale compatibility is investigated in islanded mode of an AC microgrid with paralleled inverters. The theoretical evaluation towards time-delay and data dropouts is made and it is verified that its good power-sharing can be obtained under unsatisfactory communication conditions. It has been observed that the time-scale of network-based control can also be designed from several microseconds to milliseconds. Based on this idea, the communication integration of different layers of MGs in hierarchical structure would be realistic. Experimental results have verified the effectiveness of the network-based control strategy and analytical method.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate whether investor views regarding the benefits of corporate environmental responsibility moderate the influence of environmental performance and assurance information on their judgments. Specifically, the authors examine the effects of two broad views: environmental responsibility is more important than financial performance, regardless of investment returns (i.e. environmental responsibility importance) and positive environmental performance will increase investment returns (i.e. environmental performance return). Design/methodology/approach Nonprofessional investors completed an online study where environmental performance (high or low) and assurance on environmental performance information (present or absent) were varied. Participants’ corporate environmental responsibility views were assessed using a series of questions adapted from Cheah et al.’s (2011) study. Findings Environmental performance and assurance information had a greater influence on the investment judgments of investors with strong environmental responsibility views. In contrast, participants’ environmental performance return views did not moderate the influence of environmental performance and assurance information on their judgments. Supplemental analysis indicates that these contrasting results are due to the fact that the two investor views have differing influences on the relative importance that investors place on financial vs environmental performance information. Research limitations/implications This study presented participants with summarized financial and environmental performance information to maintain scale compatibility between financial and environmental measures. However, the information was presented in a format similar to those used by online brokerages. Practical implications This study suggests that financial statement preparers should consider investors’ views regarding the importance and value of environmental performance information when making decisions to disclose and obtain assurance on this information. Social implications Standard setters should consider individual differences among investors when developing guidance regarding the disclosure and assurance of environmental performance information. Originality/value There is limited prior research which examines how investors’ views of the importance of environmental performance information may influence investment judgments. This research indicates that the strength of investors’ environmental responsibility importance moderates the previously reported influence of environmental performance and assurance information on investment judgments.
