The aim of this research was to examine the direct impact of service quality, trust and customer satisfaction variables on customer loyalty. As well as the indirect effect between service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty through trust variable. This research uses a quantitative approach and data collected using survey with questionnaire as an instrument. The sample of this research are 200 Merak Port customers, that have visited Merak Port at least two times in the past year and have visited Merak Port before and after 2019. The data analysis technique uses SPSS version 22 LISREL 8.8 to analyze and process research data. The hypothesis finding show that only the customer satisfaction variable positively and significantly affect customer loyalty. The trust variable as a mediator in the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty shows insignificant results.

The appearance of cracks in brittle materials in general and in marble, in particular, is a problem in the hydro-abrasive jet cutting process. In this paper is presented a method to reduce the appearance of cracks when cutting with a hydro-abrasive jet of marble by using statistical analysis. The Taguchi method was used, establishing the main parameters that influence the process. Research design was based on performing experiments by modifying the parameters that influence the process. In this way, it has been shown that the stochastic effects resulting from the marble structure can be reduced. A careful study was made of the behavior of marble under the action of the hydro-abrasive jet, and of the behavior of the whole process in the processing of brittle materials. Results of experiments confirmed the hypothesis that statistical analysis is a procedure that can lead to a decrease in the number of cracks in processing. The measurement was performed with precise instruments and analyzed with recognized software and according to the results obtained, the reduction of the number of cracks is achieved through use of low pressure, a minimum stand-off distance and a small tube diameter. In this way, the paper presents a new and effective tool for optimizing the cutting with a hydro-abrasive jet of marble.

Abstract This study, presented in a pair of articles, defines a comprehensive methodological approach to the reconstruction of a traditional masonry-timber mansion building constructed in the 1880s of the Turkish house typology on Istanbul’s historical peninsula area that was intentionally demolished in 1948. A historical process research was carried out in the first stage of the study, after which ground penetration radar measurements and an archeological excavation were carried out to determine any possible remains or ruins of the structure, and the original architectural features of the demolished building were ascertained from the obtained data. The proposed stages in the current paper can be considered a comprehensive approach to the determination of the authentic properties of demolished or destroyed buildings in historical areas, given that the methodology allows for the integration of construction features obtained separately and independently through different activities, such as excavations, georadar measurements and historical surveys. The result is a versatile approach to the complete and realistic reconstruction of historical buildings.

Checklists have been used to increase safety in aviation and help prevent mistakes in surgeries. However, despite the success of checklists in many domains, checklists have not been universally successful in improving safety. A large volume of checklists is being published online for helping software developers produce more secure code and avoid mistakes that lead to cyber-security vulnerabilities. It is not clear if these secure development checklists are an effective method of teaching developers to avoid cyber-security mistakes and reducing coding errors that introduce vulnerabilities. This paper presents in-process research looking at the secure coding checklists available online, how they map to well-known checklist formats investigated in prior human factors research, and unique pitfalls that some secure development checklists exhibit related to decidability, abstraction, and reuse.

This study aims to analyze the scope of research on materials using a bibliometric review and data mapping process. Research data on materials were obtained from databases from selected journals in Indonesia. The search is done using a search engine that contains data on all related journal articles. The search process is based on a topic area with titles, keywords, and abstracts in the study material. The mapping process is done using VOSviewer. A total of 60 relevant articles were found. The results showed that the most studied study material was in the 2016-2021 range. Meanwhile, in the field of chemistry, the “acid” term is the most widely discussed material. Among all contributing countries, Indonesia is the largest country with 43 articles. Indonesia also has the most links with other countries, namely 8 links. Through VOSviewer we analyze how many articles have been published about the material and its relation to the topic area. This review can certainly provide a reference point for further research related to materials.

In the implementation of learning activities that occur at SD Plus Pesantren Al-Anwar, problems when implementing learning activities, among others, are the media used are not supportive, teachers use learning resources in the form of books and have not used certain learning media. This is the cause of students tend to be passive in learning activities. When learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 learning 2 in class IV the teacher uses image media in teaching and learning activities, making students less understanding of the material. As a result, students are less interested in teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted in class IV, which consisted of 20 students. In the development research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to provide a good influence for students, the Fun Thinkers book media is to foster student learning activities and achievements and must use media that can foster student interest in learning so that they are enthusiastic in undergoing the learning process. Research using the ADDIE model which passes through 5 stages.

Background Digital health interventions (DHIs) are efficacious for several mental disorders in youth; however, integrated, evidence-based knowledge about the mechanisms of change in these interventions is lacking. Objective This systematic review aims to comprehensively evaluate studies on mediators and mechanisms of change in different DHIs for common mental disorders in children and adolescents. Methods A systematic literature search of the electronic databases Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Embase, MEDLINE, and PsycINFO was conducted, complemented by backward and forward searches. Two independent reviewers selected studies for inclusion, extracted the data, and rated the methodological quality of eligible studies (ie, risk of bias and 8 quality criteria for process research). Results A total of 25 studies that have evaluated 39 potential mediators were included in this review. Cognitive mediators were the largest group of examined intervening variables, followed by a broad range of emotional and affective, interpersonal, parenting behavior, and other mediators. The mediator categories with the highest percentages of significant intervening variables were the groups of affective mediators (4/4, 100%) and combined cognitive mediators (13/19, 68%). Although more than three-quarters of the eligible studies met 5 or more quality criteria, causal conclusions have been widely precluded. Conclusions The findings of this review might guide the empirically informed advancement of DHIs, contributing to improved intervention outcomes, and the discussion of methodological recommendations for process research might facilitate mediation studies with more pertinent designs, allowing for conclusions with higher causal certainty in the future.

Collaborations between academia and industry are vital for modern industrial research and development projects, combining the best of both worlds to develop sustainable chemical processes. Herein we summarize a number of successful cooperations between DSM Nutritional Products and Swiss academic institutions that have been carried out over approximately the past decade. A wide variety of reactions and processes have been investigated with experts located in Switzerland. New synthetic routes, chemical transformations and reactor concepts have been developed to produce industrially relevant compounds. Additionally the scope of known catalytic systems has been probed and new catalysts showing improved selectivity have been designed, synthesized and tested. We describe how the research was supported by DSM, the parallel in-house investigations and also how the projects were continued and further developed.

Abstract The manuscript provides readers with a basic methodological toolset for experimental psycholinguistic studies on translation. Following a description of key methodological concepts and the rationale behind experimental designs in psycholinguistics, we discuss experimental paradigms adopted from bilingualism research, which potentially constitute a methodological foundation for studies investigating the psycholinguistics of translation. Specifically, we show that priming paradigms possess several inherent advantages which make them particularly suitable for research on translation. The manuscript critically discusses key methodological problems associated with such paradigms and illustrates the opportunities they may offer for translation research, concludes with a review of past and current translation process research highlighting ways in which these can contribute to the issues raised by cross-linguistic priming studies.
