In the middle of the coronavirus crisis in 2020 Serbian Parliament has enacted the new Trademark Law (“Official Gazette of Republic of Serbia” No. 6/2020). With this law, many changes came along in trademark protection, especially in the infringement domain. Namely, the greatest changes that have occurred are the introduction of non-material damages recuperation for trademark infringement, and appropriation of the profits. Also, the treble damages reimbursement is now excluded from the Serbian Trademark Law. These changes are conducted to harmonize Serbian law with the Directive 2004/48/EC. However, it is still necessary to examine if there was a possibility that these new institutes lead us again to the penalty damages, even after treble damages exclusion. For this reason, the author of this paper will try to trace the origin of these changes trough examining the legal history and conducting comparative research, then he will examine the essence and the nature of these new institutes using analysis and dogmatic method.

The occurrence of the PTEs contamination in the environment resulting from the point or diffuse sources increases with globalization and population growth. Anyway the benefits of home gardening for the physiological and physical well-being, as well as uncertainties regarding food supply chain in the case of Covid-19, the desire to use home-grown (local) food is increasing more and more. There is no information available on the PTE pollution of urban soils used for the food production in Slovenia. Therefore, the main goal of present study is the characterization of urban gardens and agricultural areas affected by flooded sediments. The total concentrations of PTEs in soil and sediment samples were ICP-MS. The concentrations of PTEs (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) exceeded the permissible limit values defined in Slovenian Official Gazette. To define the natural or artificial origin of PTEs, the mineralogical composition of the selected soils and sediments was determined. The results obtained in present study were correlated with the national background values measured in the upper soil horizon and showed elevated concentrations. In addition to the environmental issues, the social aspect of potential impacts of PTEs on human health and safety was investigated. The results show that despite the numerous local, national and international plans and measures, greater awareness of the general public is needed to understand the hazardous effects of PTEs and the need for appropriate management of contaminated soil in the case contaminated areas.

In times of pandemic, DNU No. 329/2020 (BO, 3/31/2020) of the national Executive Power was issued within the framework of the health emergency caused by the coronavirus and its extensions decided by DNU No. 487/2020 (BO, 19 / 5/2020) and DNU No. 624/2020 (BO, 7/29/2020) prohibited dismissals without just cause and for economic reasons and force majeure for a period of 60 days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, from March 31to May 29, 2020, then until July 28 and later until September 26, 2020. A regime of own or absolute stability has been established for all private workers to those who reach these DNU, including private teachers of any level, curricular or not - but pro tempore, because it is limited to the closed period. The decision of the National Executive Power appears as constitutional and conventional, adequate to supra-legal norms that it cites itself and to other supra-referred ones, such as the jurisprudence of the CSJN and the IACHR. After the emergency and the validity of the DNU, the question is whether it will return for all private workers in Argentina to the system of improper relative stability or it will be possible to move to an intermediate one, such as the one that accompanies the private teachers mentioned since 1947, similar to that of the Spanish Workers' Statute in the case of unfair dismissal, or the exception of the DNU will become the rule.

Abstract The objective of this research is to identify the psychosocial risk factors in Chihuahua City’s automotive distribution agencies that adversely affect the quality of life of workers and therefore, having a negative or unfavorable impact on their productivity. Instruments indicated in the Official Gazette of the Federation NOM-035 were used, which have an ordinal scale of measurement with Likert-type options and with a Cronbach alpha higher than 0.7. As a result, the “Level of Pressure” in reference to the employer-employee relationship is extremely intense among members of the supply chain, which is reflected in an unfavorable ‘work environment, combined with non-positive leadership styles. To gather the necessary information, Google Forms and questionnaire instruments estabashed in NOM with an ordinal scale, based on reference Guides II and III were used. The information was then processed with the use of Excel and SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 23. Deterministic and simple random sampling was used. This is a mix of desk and field research.

Information plays a formative role in citizens’ decision to trust their government. Given an increasingly diverse information environment, which is attributable to the diffusion of information and communication technologies (ICT)s, the Internet, and social media, we hypothesize that citizens’ use of a particular medium for information (online vs offline, and government source vs. non-government source) about their government plays an important and distinctive role in shaping citizens’ satisfaction with government information provision and trust in government. To address this central hypothesis, we analyze data from the 3068 citizen respondents. The findings of our study reveal that citizens’ use of the online medium for information about their government, such as information from local government web-media, lacks a strong relationship with their levels of satisfaction with government information provision and trust in government, while citizens’ use of different sources on the offline medium for information about their government, such as information from local government meeting or official gazette, is found to have a stronger association with citizens’ trust in government and satisfaction with government information provision.

The successful functioning and development of the capital market, along with the possibility of attracting new investments is largely contingent on the quality of financial reporting and the availability of the statements themselves. In view of the fact that the new Law on Accounting of the Republic of Serbia came into force, the question arises to what extent public companies respect legally prescribed deadlines for submitting their statements and by doing so do not commit an economic offense. The primary goal of this paper is to draw attention to the importance of a standardized and efficient legal framework that obliges public companies to publish financial statements in a timely manner. A survey was conducted that encompassed 416 public companies listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange and their corresponding financialstatements for 2018, as the reporting period. We tried to establish whether the sampled companies disclosed their statements within the deadline prescribed by the Law on Accounting (Law on Accounting, Official Gazette of RS, 62/2013, 30/2018). The results show that most companies disclosed financial statements during the period when they are still considered useful to potential and existing investors. Nevertheless, practice showed that there was room for improvement, and this was achieved with the adoption of the new Law on Accounting, which took effect on January 1, 2020. It integrates the deadline for compiling and disclosing statements, which in fact shortens the time period during which information on the companies’ operations should be made available to the general public and potential investors.
