Conversational interaction analysis is a method of analyzing the content and structure of the words spoken by both parties in a conversation. The listening discourse of TEM-8 has not only the basic characteristics of daily conversation discourse, but also its special features as a selective examination. This paper applies a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, encompassing the perspectives of the construction and transformation of turn, the sequential organization of the conversation, and the repair of conversation, to carry out conversational interaction analysis on listening discourse materials of the TEM-8 in 2011, 2015 and 2019. The results revealed that candidates need to grasp the topic, match questions with answers, capture details, and pay attention to the role change, tone and repair of the conversation, as well as strengthen listening training, so that they can do well in TEM-8 exams.

Managing everyday wellness using sensors requires user buy-in and acceptance. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was used to measure at D-0 the acceptability (a priori), and at D-21 the acceptance of an ambulatory monitoring system under development, the SHERPAM system. Interviews with the participants revealed that they no longer viewed the system in the same way at the different stages of the study. The results of the qualitative analysis suggest that the time of the research led the participants to stop seeing themselves as potential future users and to take on the role of critical testers of the technology (which corresponds more to a user test). This role change led participants to question the usefulness of the technology, which affected their intention to use the technology in the future (5.30 vs. 4.24; t = 2.58 *). This research identified the reasons why it was crucial to have a fully functional device in the second phase (acceptance study). The results of this study suggest that it is inappropriate to undertake an acceptability study when the technology is under development. While the SHERPAM platform has been the subject of several user tests, none have been carried out in a situation of use. Thus, this study seems to suggest that the dysfunctions observed are more related to the absence of a development phase in the daily activity of the users. Thus, to ensure a good appropriation of the technology and to predict its use, the technology must not only be in perfect working order, but must also have been developed according to the daily activities of the individuals.

Since the Zhou Dynasty, China has a tradition of “emphasizing confession”. Until now, “confession centrism” is still a deep-rooted judicial concept in the minds of judicial personnel. This leads to the repeated prohibition of extorting confessions by torture in our country, and eventually leads to many unjust and false cases. The long-term judicial tradition from “no confession without conviction” to “Leniency for confession and strictness for resistance” has made the accused bear different functions according to their different status in various stages of criminal proceedings, which makes the role overload, role conflict and role tension of the ordinary criminal accused more prominent, and even lead to the extreme situation of role collapse. To give the defendant an opportunity to change his identity may help us to find a solution to the complete realization of the right to silence and the protection of the right to abstain.

Previous research shows that nurses have high levels of stress, but less is known about their well-being. The present research used an adapted version of the Demands-Resources-Individual Effects (DRIVE) model to investigate these areas. The Well-Being Process Questionnaire (WPQ), which consists of single items derived from longer scales, was also used. One hundred and seventy-seven British nurses (160 female, 17 male) participated in an online survey. The results showed that work characteristics could be grouped into three factors (resources; demands; and role/change/bullying), as were personality scores (positive personality; openness, agreeable, conscientious; and extraversion, emotional stability). Coping (positive and negative coping) and outcomes (positive and negative outcomes, and positive and negative job appraisals) had a two-factor solution. Results from logistic regressions showed that well-being outcomes were predicted by high positive personality and low negative coping. Positive job appraisals were predicted by high resources and low demands. These findings confirm that the use of the DRIVE model and a single short item measuring instrument can quickly provide information about factors predicting the well-being of nurses.

With the rapid development of Chinese higher education, postgraduate education has gradually gained public attention. As senior professional and technical talents, postgraduates are the main force of the country's cutting edge technological development. Compared to undergraduates, the study objectives of postgraduates have changed considerably, it is thus important that the learning method should also change correspondingly. Higher postgraduate education should therefore guide postgraduates to change their roles successfully. This study elaborates on why and how postgraduates can change their role, what postgraduates should do, future opportunities, and so on. The result of the study has great significance for the changing role of postgraduates in China's educational system.
