Abstract[Module Development of KOBA with 4-D Model to Improve Students' Creative Thinking Skills]. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of quality of the modules developed and the ability of creative thinking of students in KOBA courses. Module development is done by 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The quality of the module can be identified through validation tests with education expert lecturers and chemists. The ability to think creatively is measured using description questions based on indicators of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. Measurement is done by comparing the results of the pretest and posttest. Next the results were tested for normality and homogeneity. Then hypothesis testing is carried out. Based on validation tests by expert lecturers, the modules that have been compiled are known to have good module quality levels. The average pretest and posttest scores were 56.046 and 72.549 respectively. After testing for normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing, it was concluded that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills in KOBA courses using modules.

In 2015 the first full size resistive-strip Micromegas modules for the ATLAS New Small Wheel upgrade will be realized. The goal is to provide precision muon tracking with spatial resolution below 100 μm on trapezoidal four-layer detector modules with areas between 2 and 3 m2. This poses stringent limits on the overall accuracy of the modules with respect to strip positioning and planarity. Each module is built as a quadruplet of four resistive strip Micromegas layers, constructed from stiff sandwich panels. An assembly procedure has been developed to build the panels and modules with the required mechanical precision of 30 μm along the precision coordinate and 80 μm perpendicular to the chamber. The construction and quality assurance procedures ensure good module quality verified by checks done during the construction and the chamber assembly.

This study aims to produce Linear Algebra module for mathematics education students. This type of research is research development (R & D) with Plomp development model. The Plomp development model consists of five phases, namely: initial investigation phase, design phase, realization/construction phase, test phase, evaluation, and revision, and implementation phase. This research was conducted on students of mathematics education program of FKIP Samudra State University. Instruments used are in the form of validation sheet, test sheet and the questionnaire. The results showed that the Linear Algebra module that has been developed already met the aspects of good module quality, namely: the feasibility test module, Linear Algebra module that has been developed is valid based on the expert assessment; effectiveness test, where Linear Algebra module has an impact on the level of mastery and understanding of students on good criteria; test of practicality, where the result of questionnaire of practicality analysis shows that the module that has been developed can be implemented and used by the students.

Software industries face a common problem which is the maintenance cost of industrial software systems. There are lots of reasons behind this problem. One of the possible reasons is the high maintenance cost due to lack of knowledge about understanding the software systems that are too large, and complex. Software clustering is an efficient technique to deal with such kind of problems that arise from the sheer size and complexity of large software systems. Day by day the size and complexity of industrial software systems are rapidly increasing. So, it will be a challenging task for managing software systems. Software clustering can be very helpful to understand the larger software system, decompose them into smaller and easy to maintenance. In this paper, we want to give research direction in the area of software clustering in order to develop efficient clustering techniques for software engineering. Besides, we want to describe the most recent clustering techniques and their strength as well as weakness. In addition, we propose genetic algorithm based software modularization clustering method. The result section demonstrated that proposed method can effectively produce good module structure and it outperforms the state of the art methods.

AbstractThis research is aimed to evaluate the quality of the English module used by students of SMA N 6 Yogyakarta. There were many problems such as mistype, inappropriate content or material, and so on which were found inside the book. Then, the module used by the students should be evaluated on the content to know whether the book met the criteria of good module or not. The research was about case study using content analysis as the method. It used textbook evaluation criteria from Cunningsworth which contained ten aspects of evaluation and compared with the criteria of evaluation from Hutchinson and Waters. The evaluation concerned on the content such as language content and skill, the organization and appearance of the book. The result from Cunningsworth checklist showed that the book got 74. 25% which considered as good book. While the result from Hutchinson and Waters showed 78. 57%. The aspect which got low percentage was vocabulary and reading material, while the rest were considered as good. From evaluation using two concepts from Cunningsworth which compared with the evaluation criteria by Hutchinson and Waters showed a little bit difference. The result showed differences in range 4. 32%.Keywords: module, content analysis, evaluation, and evaluation checklist

We show that associative systems with a sufficiently good module structure imbed in a primitive system with simple primitive heart, spanned by the original system and the heart, so extending the results of J. Pure Appl. Algebra 181 (2003) 131–139 to systems over more general rings of scalars. We also study associative systems with involution.
