It is the one's limitation in performing movements independently. One of the symptoms is getting paralysis or muscle weakness in the limbs. This study aims to observe and invesgate changes in range of motion with weakness in the extremities. The method applied on two families of elderly client after stoke was applying ROM therapy. The results shows on the first family, after applying ROM practices 6 times, there is a changes in range of motion. The client could fully practice ROM. The right leg is lighter when walking and the right arm can shake is hands family. Meanwhile, the result obtained from the later family, after practicing ROM 7 times, there is a change in range of motion. The left leg is lighter when walking and the fingers get better, not clenched. Thus, it could be concluded that this therapy can improve the changes in range of motion on the elderly clients after stroke. Furthermore, is expected to the nurses to teach this therapy on their clients. Abstract Although people generally want to age in their community, individuals living with dementia are likely to move to a nursing home. In randomized trials, psychosocial interventions reduce the risk of people living with dementia transitioning to a nursing home, but the cost-effectiveness of these interventions is unknown. We used an evidence-based mathematical model to simulate a place of residence (community or nursing home) for people living with dementia. Our model also predicts time caregiving, health care costs, and quality of life. We modeled the reduction in nursing home rate (i.e., hazard ratio (HR) treatment effect) identified from two trials of non-drug interventions for people living with dementia and their caregiver. Using trial data, we account for the disease stage of when interventions are implemented. Specifically, we modeled MIND (HR: 0.63; 18-month effect), an in-home intervention for people with mild-moderate dementia, and the NYU Caregiver Intervention (HR: 0.53; 42-month effect), which is for people with moderate dementia. We evaluated each intervention’s cost-effectiveness relative to usual care for the duration of the intervention from a societal perspective. The MIND and NYU Caregiver Intervention resulted in $23,900, and $6,600 costs savings relative to usual care, respectively. The model predicted an improvement in the quality of life for people living with dementia for both interventions. The largest cost saving was attributed to reductions in family nursing home spending. Medicare and Medicaid received modest cost savings but are likely to be tasked with paying for these interventions.

The CDR of TB was increased in North Lampung District. It implicates the demand of family oriented health care for TB. The geographic conditions, limitation of nurse became challenges for informatics developers to generate supporting tools for TB home care. The goal of this study was to generate a prototipe by using mobile technology for nurses as part of Community Health Nursing. By using SDLC approach, problems related to the existing information system were identified and also the need for system improvement. Researcher used PRISM framework to help identify problems in organizational factor, technical factors and behavioral factors which interrelated among them. Android smartphone was choosen. It considered nurses’ use-friendliness, the capability of android makes computation, simple, and easy to carry and also capability to work with the internet. Nurses of Puskesmas A and Puskesmas M scored the protototipe as middle to high level of usage factor. The prototype capable to provide data of suspected TB among family member, regiment progress, drug adherence and control over, as well as useful information for TB research. We recommend implementing prototype into Java language program, building a website for data communication, and developing intelligence system of family nursing care with TB .
