The channel material of a gate describes the operating condition of the MOSFET. A suitable operating condition prevails in MOSFETs if the transistors are quite enough to observe and control at the nanometer regime. An efficient gate and channel material have been proposed in this work which is based on the electrical properties they exhibit at the temperature of 300K. The doping concentration for the electrons and holes is maintained to be 1Χ1019cm-3 for the entire electronic simulator. The simulation results show that using La2O3 along with Indium Nitride (InN) material for the designing of Double-Gate (DG) MOSFETs provides better controllability over the transistor at a channel length of 50nm. This proposed DG-MOSFET is more compliant than the conventional coplanar MOSFETs based on Silicon.

The issues are considered of acoustic emission (AE) signals location generated by various simulators (Su–Nielsen, electronic simulator, metal balls of various diameter from 0.5 to 1.5 mm, dropped from different heights). Signals generated by built-in electronic simulator with a frequency of 1 Hz location is analyzed performed by an antenna consisting of two Fabry–Perot fiber-optic sensors (FOS) and two piezoelectric transducers, mounted on samples made of duralumin and T800 carbon fiber. A carbon fiber reinforced plastic sample with the defined above antenna mounted was tested with a VEDS-10 vibration stand. AE signals were registered under the vibration frequency of 20…50 Hz in the acceleration range of 0.3…0.8g. The influence of the time drift recorded by the piezoelectric transducers on the measurement results is determined. It was found that the time drift was not recorded by fiber-optic FOS sensors, but their sensitivity is more than 14 times less than that of piezoelectric transducers.

The use of simulators in the learning environment is constantly expanding with the development of computer technologies. Despite of the constant interest to this problem, Russian pedagogy still lacks serious research on the theoretical and practical aspects of using simulators in the vocational training of students at technical universities. The attempt to study the essence of the concepts “simulator”, “electronic simulator”, the methodical potential of simulators in the educational process of the university, identifying various approaches to the classification of this phenomenon is taken in this paper. The authors also demonstrate the possibilities of the didactic use of simulators for the implementation of competence-based learning.

The mathematical support for calculation of external ballistics for subsonic weapons is described taking into account external factors for the tactical optical-electronic simulator for small arms "Inhibitor" developed at the Institute of mechanics UdmFRC UB RAS and at Computer facilities department of Kalashnikov ISTU jointly with JSC «Kalashnikov» Concern». The tactical and technical assignment is given for ballistic calculation of the trajectory and point of hit of subsonic simulators of PM weapon and GP-25 with the laser emitter of the targeting point taking into account external factors: position of the sighting bar of all types of sights (mechanical, optical, night) with the procedure of their preliminary sighting (transformation of coordinates of the laser spot into coordinates of the visual targeting point), features of the mounted trajectories of the GP-25 (air pressure drop with the height of the trajectory), air temperature and pressure, wind force, ballistic scattering minus the hardware error of the sighting point recorder (geometric subtraction of independent random errors). Mathematical models of external ballistics implemented in the software relying on the aiming angle of the weapon simulator, the initial speed and ballistic coefficient of various types of ammunition in real time in the simulator coordinate system make up a ballistic trajectory in order to solve the “meeting problem”. Results of software tests for the error in the calculation of ballistic trajectory characteristics are given. It was concluded that further research and development of electronic shooting simulators were promising thanks to the improvement of computing tools and the development of software libraries in order to increase the accuracy of simulating external ballistics of simulators taking into account many external factors, expand functional networks and reduce cost and, therefore, increase competitiveness.
