Modified gravity models are popular among cosmologists, as they can describe the cosmological evolution quite efficiently. Reconstruction of newly introduced [Formula: see text] gravity, with the help of ordinary, power-law entropy corrected and logarithmic entropy-corrected versions of Holographic dark energy (HDE) and Pilgrim dark energy (PDE) models have been studied in this work. For such reconstruction, we have considered the power-law scale factor [Formula: see text]. Further, the classical stabilities (the squared speed of sound method) of such reconstructions and their implications on the nature of the equation of state (EoS) parameters and deceleration parameter with respect to red-shift have also been examined. Finally, we have computed the age of the universe for reconstructed models.

This paper reports a method to solve ordinary fourth-order differential equations in the form of ordinary power series and, for the case of regular special points, in the form of generalized power series. An algorithm has been constructed and a program has been developed in the MAPLE environment (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) in order to solve the fourth-order differential equations. All types of solutions depending on the roots of the governing equation have been considered. The examples of solutions to the fourth-order differential equations are given; they have been compared with the results available in the literature that demonstrate excellent agreement with the calculations reported here, which confirms the effectiveness of the developed programs. A special feature of this work is that the accuracy of the results is controlled by the number of terms in the power series and the number of symbols (up to 20) in decimal mantissa in numerical calculations. Therefore, almost any accuracy allowed for a given electronic computing machine or computer is achievable. The proposed symbolic-numerical method and the work program could be successfully used for solving eigenvalue problems, in which controlled accuracy is very important as the eigenfunctions are extremely (exponentially) sensitive to the accuracy of eigenvalues found. The developed algorithm could be implemented in other known computer algebra packages such as REDUCE (Santa Monica, CA), MATHEMATICA (USA), MAXIMA (USA), and others. The program for solving ordinary fourth-order differential equations could be used to construct Green’s functions of boundary problems, to solve differential equations with private derivatives, a system of Hamilton’s differential equations, and other problems related to mathematical physics.

Abstract A quasi-ordinary polynomial is a monic polynomial with coefficients in the power series ring such that its discriminant equals a monomial up to unit. In this paper, we study higher derivatives of quasi-ordinary polynomials, also called higher order polars. We find factorizations of these polars. Our research in this paper goes in two directions. We generalize the results of Casas–Alvero and our previous results on higher order polars in the plane to irreducible quasi-ordinary polynomials. We also generalize the factorization of the first polar of a quasi-ordinary polynomial (not necessarily irreducible) given by the first-named author and González-Pérez to higher order polars. This is a new result even in the plane case. Our results remain true when we replace quasi-ordinary polynomials by quasi-ordinary power series.

Feminist political geographies complicate our understanding of nationalisms, unraveling the gendered, racist, sexualized and classed logics that enable and legitimize nationalist projects and experiences. Scholarship on the “national intimate” usefully re-centers those feminized and trivialized mundane practices, bodily experiences, subjects and spaces that in fact powerfully reproduce nationalist sentiments. I draw on this reframing here, demonstrating the insights of a feminist geographic critique of national enjoyment in Azerbaijan. In particular, I mobilize Sara Ahmed’s figure of the feminist “killjoy” to unmask how national enjoyment obscures and yet reproduces patriarchal, heterosexist and racist narratives and mundane bodily encounters. Examining national enjoyment around men’s football, women’s beauty, smoking and heterosexual marriage, I attend to the oft-ignored but vital embodied sites and objects involved in reproducing enjoyment in national meaning. I show the conditions that are necessary for different bodies to gain access to national enjoyment, and the emotional, bodily and economic investments that are necessary to navigate heteronormative, patriarchal and racialized alignments in enjoying the nation. Feminist, critical race and queer theory has unequivocally demonstrated that nationalisms depend on—indeed cannot be separated from—the workings of patriarchy, misogyny, racism and heterosexism. As geographers, moving forward, it is vital that we attend to this work if we are to better understand the ordinary power of national enjoyment.

This chapter explores the way in which several authors understood the relationship between the material constitution and constituent power, and how that understanding affected their views about the legal limits of the ordinary power of constitutional reform. Part I begins with a brief examination of the historical development of the distinction between the amending and the constituent power. Part II examines the place of the concept of super-legality in Hauriou’s work. For this author, constitutional super-legality includes not only the content of a written constitution protected by a special rule of change, but also the fundamental principles that stand above the constitution itself. Part III introduces Kelsen’s conception of the material constitution which, unlike Hauriou’s, is entirely consistent with the notion of an unlimited amendment power, one which cannot ultimately be bound by eternity clauses and much less by implicit principles. In Part IV, this ‘descriptive’ approach will be contrasted with that of Schmitt. Somewhat counter-intuitively, under Schmitt’s approach, the frequent appeal to an unlimited and unmediated constituent subject leads to the attribution of limited competences to the amending authority. Part V shows how Heller’s conception of the material constitution, although at first sight appearing as a successful synthesis of Kelsen and Schmitt, provides no clear basis for justifying the protection of the material constitution through the legal appeal to an extra-legal constituent authority. Finally, the chapter examines Mortati’s views about the material constitution’s potential role in justifying the imposition of legally enforceable limits on the amending authority.

Autotransformator is a transformer that has primary and secondary winding with the same common winding, so that it has a lighter weight compared to ordinary power transformers. The purpose of this study is to optimize the main material used in the three-phase Auto transformer in order to get the most optimum value approaching the calculation results and to know the comparison between the calculation results and the actual use of the main material in the Auto transformer and three-phase power transformer. The main material in power transformers is copper for winding and silicon steel for cores (transformer cores). Based on this research, it can be concluded that the use of main material in Auto three-phase power transformer is less than the three-phase power transformer for the same voltage and power, the magnitude of the difference in the range of 12.5% for Copper and core (transformer core) range of 47.3% of the main material in the power transformer can.

Given a nontrivial homogeneous ideal [Formula: see text], a problem of great recent interest has been the comparison of the [Formula: see text]th ordinary power of [Formula: see text] and the [Formula: see text]th symbolic power [Formula: see text]. This comparison has been undertaken directly via an exploration of which exponents [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] guarantee the subset containment [Formula: see text] and asymptotically via a computation of the resurgence [Formula: see text], a number for which any [Formula: see text] guarantees [Formula: see text]. Recently, a third quantity, the symbolic defect, was introduced; as [Formula: see text], the symbolic defect is the minimal number of generators required to add to [Formula: see text] in order to get [Formula: see text]. We consider these various means of comparison when [Formula: see text] is the edge ideal of certain graphs by describing an ideal [Formula: see text] for which [Formula: see text]. When [Formula: see text] is the edge ideal of an odd cycle, our description of the structure of [Formula: see text] yields solutions to both the direct and asymptotic containment questions, as well as a partial computation of the sequence of symbolic defects.
