This paper is aimed at investigating the use of polyurethane mats, usually used as ballast mats, for residential building purposes. Ballast mats have features that may improve the vibroacoustic comfort in residential rooms. Their strength is certainly an advantage, along with vibration and acoustic insulation. However, the problem that an engineer has to deal with, for example in modeling these types of mats, is a limited knowledge of the material’s vibroacoustic parameters. Knowledge of these may be useful for residential buildings. This paper presents measurements of the vibroacoustic parameters of polyurethane mats, together with a suitable methodology and some results and analysis. The two main material parameters responsible for vibroacoustic protection were measured: the dynamic stiffness, which is related to the acoustic properties of the material, and the critical damping coefficient, which is obviously responsible for damping. The measurement methodology is clearly described. A total of five polyurethane materials with different densities were tested. It was possible to identify a relationship between the material density and the vibroacoustic parameters, which could offer an indication of which material to use, depending on the stimulus affecting a human in a given location.

The Mosque in the Prophet Muhammad SAW era had a strategic role. The role is to be a solution and provide prosperity for the Muslims in particular and the surrounding community in general. Currently, the mosque plays a narrower role. It is a provider of facilities for pilgrims to carry out routine worship. In order for this role to increase, the mosque administrator, called DKM (Mosque Prosperity Council), must know his congregation more closely so that he knows what is needed and then comes to provide solutions. This study aims to create and implement an information system to manage congregational data to improve the role of mosques in the community. The main material that was obtained and prepared was data on residents around the mosque and the stakeholder needs (leaders of organizations around the mosque such as the heads of hamlet (RW), neighbourhood (RT), and youth organizations). The citizen data and stakeholder needs are used to develop the system. Because the specifications of the requirements can change during system development, the development method chosen is the prototyping method. There are two main outputs of this activity, namely the availability of a congregational data mapping application, and the installation of internet network infrastructure at the mosque. The two outputs in their implementation have proven to be beneficial for the congregation and the surrounding community. The information system provides improved service quality to pilgrims and residents in various activities such as zakat and qurbani. Meanwhile, Internet infrastructure provides new hope in easing the burden of community quotas and bringing children closer to the mosque.

Wood is the main material used for musical instrument soundboard fabrication, for practical and cultural reasons. As a natural material, however, wood is easily degraded due to moisture or fungal corrosion. Most traditional wood protection methods were devised for structural materials, and may thus not be suitable for application in musical instrument soundboard materials. In the current study, a novel nanomaterial-based modification method was applied to wood. The surface of wood was coated with polyurethane and MgAl-layered double hydroxide nanosheets after a convenient impregnation process. The modified wood exhibited improved hydrophobicity and mould-resistance, while maintaining its acoustic properties. This modified wood may facilitate the construction of soundboards with longer lifespans.

Increasing the efficiency of tapping the aquatic biological resources by fishing vessels directly depends on the improvement of production and technological activities in the unpredictable field conditions. Like any production process, the production and technological activity of fishing vessels is associated with the occurrence of costs at all stages (phases) of the production process, the aggregate and structure of which depends on the fishing technological system of the fishing vessel. The stages of the production process form the main material flow, ensuring its end-to-end promotion. Its efficiency significantly affects the costs and management of field resources and should be achieved by minimizing material losses, primarily in the process of extracting raw materials. For this, it is necessary to study the field conditions in which the production and technological process takes place within the framework of the production vessel, determine their structure, variability, analyze the structure and composition of production costs at all phases of the production and technological process, develop a situational and scenario approach to the formation of production and technological activities of fishing vessels on a fishing trip. The costs arising in all subsystems (phases) and operating on a constant basis throughout the entire fishing period are proposed to be divided into several types of costs. Their interrelated and interdependent influence can give both a general determinism to the production process and increase its imbalance, increasing the total fishing costs of a producing vessel due to the emergence of additional costs associated with an unstable fishing situation in the fishing area. In this regard, the production activity on the fishing vessel is carried out according to the formed fishing and technological scenarios. The developed block diagram of the totality of fishing costs during the movement of the main material flow through the phases of the fishing and technological system of a fishing vessel gives a complete picture of the total fishing costs of a fishing vessel when it simultaneously performs the processes of extraction and processing of aquatic biological resources with a situational-scenario approach to their formation.

The table tennis game table can be made of any material with certain bounce height requirements according to ITTF regulations. Wood as the main material for the table is found in Indonesia. Various types of wood have the potential to be a dining table material. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the type of wood on the bounce of a table tennis ball. Experiments were carried out on 9 types of wood, namely hardwoods (teak, sono, coconut), medium hardwoods (meranti, plywood and jackfruit) and soft woods (waru, randu and sengon). The height of the falling ball is determined to be 30 cm for the ball's bounce recorded by the camera. The ball used is a ball with a weight of 24 grams and 30 grams. Camera recording data is processed with Kinovea 08.15 to get the reflection height. The bounce height is used as a reference for ITTF standard compliance. The initial height and reflection height were then used to calculate the coefficient of restitution (COR). Data collection was carried out 5 times and the average value was calculated. The level of wood hardness is influenced by its specific gravity. Hard wood has a relatively high specific gravity. Teak wood which is relatively hard has a specific gravity value of 0.59 – 0.82 gr/cm3
