Preview-Review Bilingual Instructional Tools Development with Discovery Learning Model Setting to Enhancing Student’s Conceptual Understanding and Speaking Ability

This study aimed to analyze the validity categories and the effectiveness of preview-review bilingual instructional tools with discovery learning model setting in enhancing conceptual understanding and speaking ability. This study was research and development (R & D) using ADDIE developmental model consisting of analyzing, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection was done through non-test techniques using product validation sheets, learning observational sheet, and observational sheet for speaking ability and test techniques using an assessment sheet for measuring conceptual understanding. The validity of preview-review bilingual instructional tools with discovery learning model setting was analyzed qualitatively based on 5-point scale conversion table. The effectiveness of preview-review bilingual instructional tools with discovery learning model setting in the implementation stage was analyzed based on the average of the gain score. The result showed that the validity of preview-review bilingual instructional tools with discovery learning model setting was 3.60 for the content and 3.55 for the language which is in very good category and the developed of preview-review bilingual instructional tools with discovery learning model setting was effective in enhancing conceptual understanding and speaking ability based on average gain score.

An exploration of the synergies, parallels, and divergences between ESDM and music therapy with preschool children with autism, in a music therapy student’s practice.

<p>This qualitative research explores the possibility of an interaction between music therapy and the Early Start Denver Model with preschool children with autism spectrum disorder. Both interventions have been shown to be effective at improving social, emotional and communication skills in young autistic children, and share some use of music and some focus on developmental goals. My findings were generated from Secondary Analysis of Data using my qualitative clinical notes and reflective thoughts from a music therapy setting and an Early Start Denver Model setting. I focused on my use of music in sessions at each setting and found three main themes in the data – building a therapeutic relationship; singing to engage, with primary and secondary focus on the music; and moment of discomfort. A large proportion of my data related to using music to build a positive therapeutic relationship with the child, which is necessary to achieve both the wider goals typical of a music therapy setting and the more specific goals of the Early Start Denver Model setting. My data also showed that the humanistic approach of music therapy and the behavioural approach of the Early Start Denver model created tension in my practice in both settings. My research concluded that there are parallels and synergies which could positively inform each intervention but there may be too many divergences to create one cohesive therapy, due to their differences in approach.</p>

Identification of Accounting Fraud Based on Support Vector Machine and Logistic Regression Model

The authenticity of the company’s accounting information is an important guarantee for the effective operation of the capital market. Accounting fraud is the tampering and distortion of the company’s public disclosure information. The continuous outbreak of fraud cases has dealt a heavy blow to the confidence of investors, shaken the credit foundation of the capital market, and hindered the healthy and stable development of the capital market. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to carry out the research on the identification and governance of accounting fraud. Traditionally, accounting fraud identification is mostly based on linear thinking to build the fraud identification model. However, more and more studies show that fraud has typical nonlinear characteristics, and the multiobjective of fraud means also determines the limitations of using the linear model for identification. Considering that the traditional identification methods may have the defects of model setting error and insufficient information extraction, this paper constructs the support vector machine and logistic regression model to identify accounting fraud. The support vector machine is used to improve the learning ability and generalization ability of unknown phenomena, and the explanatory power of each variable to the whole model is identified by the logistic regression model. This paper breaks through the linear constraint hypothesis and explores the model setting form which is more suitable for the law of corporate fraud behaviour to extract the fraud identification information more fully and provide more powerful support for investors to effectively identify fraud.

ADOLESCENT DRUG REHABILITATION SERVICE MODELS IN HONG KONG: FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF FRONTLINE SOCIAL WORKERS

This study aimed to contribute to an exploratory categorization of different adolescent drug rehabilitation service models in Hong Kong. In-depth interviews were conducted with local social workers working in the medical model setting, integrated model setting, and social model setting. There was a trend that hybrid models were used by the drug rehabilitation service providers and a shift to postmodernism was found in the current service settings.

Urgensi Pembentukan Peraturan Desa Tentang Pengelolaan Wisata Syariah Dalam Meningkatkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Kabupaten Sumenep

Abstrak: Konsep pariwisata halal diharapkan bisa meningkatkan jumlah wisman di objek-objek wisata tersebut. Konsep pariwisata halal diambil karena dilihat dari sisi sosial budaya agama masyarakatnya, banyaknya pondok pesantren, obyek wisata religi, dan kesenian Islam. Disisi lain Kepastian hukum merupakan hal yang sangat urgen untuk menarik minat investor dan wisatawan. Disinilah urgensi dari keberadaan legalitas pariwisata halal. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini pertama adalah untuk mengemukakan bentuk pengaturan pariwisata halal yang sudah diterapkan di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Kedua akan berupaya untuk menemukan model pengaturan yang efektif, efisien dan mempunyai kepastian hukum yang tinggi untuk diterapkan di Sumenep. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang berusaha untuk memaparkan tujuan penelitian di atas. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah ketentuan mengenai pembuatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan peraturan pariwisata halal di Indonesia. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penemuan sebuah model atau bentuk peraturan tentang pariwisata halal di Sumenep yang efektif, efisien dan mempunyai kepastian hukum yang tinggi.
