Background: We aimed to explore the effect of Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) circulation nursing on the prevention of aneurysm after hemodialysis. Methods: A total of 139 hemodialysis patients from Oct 2018 to Jan 2020 in Nephrology Department of the First People’s Hospital of Lianyungang, China were enrolled. They were randomly divided into control group and PCDA group, including 58 patients in control group and 81 patients in PCDA group. Patients' satisfaction, blood flow in arteriovenous internal fistula and the incidence of post-dialysis vascular-related complications were statistically investigated in the two groups. Results: The satisfaction of patients in PDCA group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.001). In addition, when there was no statistical difference in blood flow between the two groups, the probability of complications such as internal fistula obstruction, thrombosis, infection, secondary puncture and aneurysm was lower in patients in the PDCA group, none of which occurred aneurysm. Conclusion: PDCA circulation nursing can effectively improve the quality of care and medical effect of hemodialysis patients with internal arteriovenous fistula, improve patient satisfaction and reduce the incidence of complications.

This article aims to study the application of standardization techniques in a two-wheel hub company in the city of Manaus, more specifically in the subassembly sector of the chassis, responsible for the preparation of parts to supply the assembly line. The methodologies used were the 5S methodology, which is proven very effective in identifying and eliminating waste and increasing efficiency; the standardization of intermediate stock, to improve the performance of the purchasing and business sectors, and finally, the PDCA cycle, to identify needs and find suitable, low-cost solutions. From the data collected, the problem was defined as the three worst parts, which are the mudguard, rear fork, and top cover, as it was found that they are recurrent in more than 50% of the models produced. These defects are due to the improper storage of the parts, which present scratches and beat marks. The need to establish an ideal condition of ideal storage was raised, and a manual was elaborated in which basic actions are listed to avoid small defects. After applying the mentioned tools and methodologies, the company managed to reduce the occurrence of small defects.

The PDCA cycle has been widely used for process improvement; therefore, it is appropriate to think that it is a useful tool for project management. The purpose of this research is to show the main contributions that different authors have made in the implementation of the PDCA cycle for continuous improvement in project management. A documentary review was carried out, using search strategies with keywords in Scopus and Science Direct. Documents from the last 5 years were collected, resulting in a total of 186 articles. When verifying the relevance to the subject of study, the list was reduced to 21. The thematic validity of the PDCA cycle, the variability of business sectors and the countries that implement and study it stand out as results. The European continent leads the volume of publications and despite finding a high volume of articles, many were discarded due to methodological weaknesses.

The number of domestic passengers departing from the Medan Polonia airport was on average as many as hundreds of thousands of passengers per month. Where every passenger is required to carry out a covid antigen examination, one of which is an antigen swab examination. At the end of April 2021, the Police uncovered a case of using a used antigen test kit at Kualanamu Airport. Therefore, the author tries to evaluate and review the antigen swab process in Kualanamu Medan to take technical steps for risk-related assessments at the antigen swab sampling facility. This research design uses a literature study by studying theories and secondary data. Based on data obtained from the Statistics Agency as many as hundreds of thousands of people using domestic flights from Polonia airport. To reduce risk organizations make the existing process risks, namely, the sampling process, specimen examination, data analysis and supervision from the head office, where the probability risk greatly affects the organization. The five steps of improving diagnostic pharmaceutics are considered good in solving the problems at hand, but perhaps the additional implementation of improvements must be carried out more consistently and using risk base thinking and  PDCA cycle.

Objective. To explore the influence of PDCA cycle nursing based on network service on the quality of life and nutritional status of hypertension patients in home care. Methods. From January 2019 to December 2020, 116 hypertension patients in home care were selected as research objects. According to the random number method, the patients were divided into two groups: the control group (n = 58) and the observation group (n = 58). The control group was given routine home care service, while the observation group was given PDCA cycle nursing based on the network service. The effects of blood pressure control, quality of life, nutritional status, and emotional state of the two groups were analyzed. Results. The effective rate of blood pressure control in the observation group (93.10%) was higher than that in the control group (79.31%) ( P < 0.05 ). After intervention, the Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). After intervention, the malnutrition-inflammation score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). After the intervention, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale score and Self-Rating Depression Scale score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. PDCA cycle nursing based on network service has a good blood pressure control effect on hypertension patients in home care, which can improve their quality of life and nutritional status and also relieve their bad emotions.
