The principle objective of this project is to “Model, Analysis and Study the behavior of transmission line tower with Concentric and Eccentric type of bracing system by using STAAD Pro software”. The Model methods used in STAAD Pro analysis are limit state Design conforming to Indian Standard Code of Practice. STAAD Pro features a state-of-the-art user interface, visualization tools, powerful analysis and design engines with advanced finite element and dynamic analysis capabilities from model generation, analysis and design to visualization and result verification, STAAD Pro is the professional’s choice. Our Final work was the “Comparative Analysis and study the behavior of transmission line tower with Concentric and Eccentric type of bracing system” under various load combinations. Abstract Continuous Circulation Systems (CCS) have been around since the JIP between Shell, BP, Statoil, BG, Total and Eni in October 2000. Initial reports of these systems demonstrated that while cumbersome, the use of CCS is of benefit to drilling ERD wells. Continuous circulation keeps cuttings moving out of the wellbore, reducing or eliminating the time required to circulate clean any high-angle section before making a drill pipe connection or before tripping out of the hole. Continuous Circulation over each connection enhances the management of Equivalent Circulating Density(ECD) to control the bottom hole pressure on the well by never switching off the pumps, therefore the wellbore never experiences an Equivalent Static Density(ESD). Through this mechanism, the application of CCS has also been proven to manage bottom hole pressure constantly, which in conjunction with good drilling practices for torque and drag management, are key factors in drilling any Extended Reach Drilling(ERD), Complex or High Pressure/High Temperature (HPHT) well.

Cold formed steel portal frames are widely used as alternative to traditional portal frames made from hot rolled steel sections. Load-displacement response of cold formed steel single C-section portal frames is available. C- section portal frames undergo significant deformation before reaching their ultimate loads. In this study, cold formed steel angle portal frame is analyzed using finite element analysis in order to find the load-displacement response. Bolt pressure is applied at the location of physical bolts in ANSYS. Keywords- Cold formed steel portal frames, fasteners, bolts, connections, Numerical modelling

This study was conducted to investigate the load-bearing capacity of a single angle column under various loading conditions to determine the loading condition offering the highest load- bearing capacity. In all cases, the load is transferred through one leg (or two legs) of the angle which has a smaller cross-sectional area compared to the total area of the angle profile. The main objective of this study is to develop almost all of the possible support conditions for the single angle section and carry out laboratory tests on the chosen specimens to determine the most suitable one. Also, there are some finite element investigations done using ABAQUS software to find out the maximum forces in which all the elements of the structures remain their linear behavior and the stress spots concentration. Based on the obtained results, it is possible to increase the axial critical load of a single angle by using the connections at the main axis of the section.
