Family farming produces most of the fresh food consumed in large urban centers. However, its success depends on a variety of public policies, which range from strengthening the means of production to supporting marketing channels. In this article, we conduct a careful bibliometric analysis of studies in the international literature that address “family farming, public policies, and socioeconomic development”. The aim of the study is to identify and classify the public policies aimed at supporting family farming and socioeconomic development. We carried out a systematic literature review considering five international scientific journal databases using pairs of the keywords “public policies”, “family farming” and “socioeconomic development”. The resulting sample was a total of 625 articles, covering the period between 1984 and 2020. A bibliometric analysis of the first 50 articles selected by the Methodi Ordinatio tool was performed. For the final portfolio, 10 variables were analyzed to better assess and understand the current literature. Our analysis shows an increase in publications in the last five years, with articles from South America being more prevalent than those from other continents. Brazil being one of the key countries that has developed public policies aimed at family farming and rural socioeconomic development.

International scientific journal Nicholai Studies is published both as a printed and as an online open-access journal. Nicholai Studies primarily publishes original scientific papers on theological subjects. By cultivating an interdisciplinary approach, the journal is open for scientific papers and review articles based on research in other sciences and humanities — like philosophy, philology, literature, history, historiography, archival research, etc. — as long as they correspond with the topic of the journal. Nicholai Studies also publishes relevant archival and documentary material, with accompanying studies and notes as well as bibliographies, shorter notes, reviews, comments, and reviews of new publications. Nicholai Studies primarily publishes articles in English and Serbian language. Every article published in Nicholai Studies is reviewed two times and anonymously before being published. The article represents the scientific achievements and work of a Ukrainian botanist, candidate of agricultural sciences, director of the O.V. Fomin Botanical Garden (1987–2006, 2008–2012), Vasyl Kapustyan, who died on August 19, 2020, after a long illness.Vasyl Kapustyan was born on July 24, 1942. In 1965 he graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy, and in 1972 received the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences. Since 1974, the work of Vasyl Kapustyan was associated with the O.V. Fomin Botanical Garden, where he served in 1975–1987 as deputy director and head of the sector of tropical and subtropical plants, in 1987–1997 – as director and head of the sector of tropical and subtropical plants, and from 1997 – exclusively as director of the Botanical Garden. The scientific work of Vasyl Kapustyan was related to the introduction of tropical and subtropical plants, their conservation, and rational use. He was the author of over 80 scientific articles and monographs, the last of which was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the botanical garden. Since the founding of the series “Introduction and Conservation of Plant Diversity” of the “Bulletin of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv”, Vasyl Kapustyan was its editor-in-chief. He was also a member of the Academic Councils of Kyiv University and Faculty of Biology, chairman of the Academic Council of the Botanical Garden, a member of the Bureau of the Council of Botanical Gardens of Ukraine, and a member of the editorial board of the international scientific journal “Plant Introduction”. He was the founder and scientific director of the Museum of the Botanical Garden History, which opened in 2004.

The phenomenon of globalization affects all sectors including higher education in Indonesia. This research aimed to determine strategic planning, research activities, and curriculum of internationalization policy. The research used qualitative approach in State Islamic University of Yogyakarta and State Islamic University of Malang. The results showed that strategic planning of internationalization is coordinated in all levels. The international curriculum is through foreign language and multicultural skills. The development of international scientific journal cited internationally and the development of lecturers for scientific publications cited internationally cited. State islamic universities performed internationalization with competency perspective.

The mixing of hard inclusions into materials is one way to strengthen and increase the durability of the materials, creating granular composite materials. However, apart from the hard inclusions in material, other impurities (soft inclusions) and holes still have the ability to appear and affect the durability of the material. The existence of holes, impurities will affect the behavior of the crack. In this paper, the authors will investigate the effects of holes, hard inclusions, soft inclusions on the behavior of crack when growing under the effect of dynamic loads by extended twice-interpolation finite element method-XTFEM. The results of the dynamic stress intensity factor obtained from numerical examples will clearly show the impact of different types of particles on cracks... The results obtained by XTFEM will be compared with the results published in a prestigious international scientific journal to verify reliability.

As an international scientific journal, Studies in Informatics and Control (SIC ) covers the field of Information Technology (IT) and topics related to research areas, as well as important applications in IT, with particular emphasis on Advanced Automatic Control, Modeling and Optimization. SIC has greatly contributed to the areas where it involves since its first online publication way back in 1992. This paper sets out to analyze the structure and the underlying trend of the journal by making use of bibliometric methods. Firstly, the classical indicators are provided to illustrate the performance of the journal. This current study performs an in-depth analysis of the most productive and the most influential authors, institutions, and countries/regions, as well as the most cited research works published in SIC. Secondly, the visualization tools VoS viewer and CiteSpace are used to create scientific maps that may explain the structure of the journal in an intuitionistic way. In the science mapping, the co-citation maps, and the co-authorship networks of various items (such as authors, institutions, and countries/regions) are conducted. Also, the bursts detection of these items are derived. The co-occurrence of keywords and their bursts detection and timeline review are shown, respectively. Finally, some conclusions are given. This paper provides a comprehensive and visual understanding of this well-regarded scientific journal.
