AbstractA triangular lingual prominence (LP) is a characteristic part of the tongue in Anseriformes containing adipose tissue. The parakeratinized epithelium (PEp) covers the LP. Studies aimed to describe the histogenesis of PEp during the process of the intensive formation of the LP in domestic goose during embryonic period and to determine the structural readiness to perform a protective function. The study were conducted by using LM, SEM and TEM technique. The results revealed that on day 16th the undifferentiated epithelium of LP transformed into the typical avian multilayered epithelium. Contrary to pattern of histogenesis of parakeratinized epithelium on the lingual body, on the medial and lateral areas of the elongating and bulging LP were formed epithelial furrows. Which around 20th day, on lateral areas of LP deepened up to half of epithelium, whereas on the medial area began to fade. The ultrastructure of cells lying in furrows indicated progressive apoptosis-like degeneration. On the 25th day, shallow furrows were only present on lateral areas, where bulging of LP was continued. Whereas the epithelium on medial area started cornification by the accumulation of cytokeratin fibers. Lack of the periderm during the development of the PEp of the LP indicated its endodermal origin.

Abstract We classify all irreducible generic VI {\mathrm{VI}} -modules in non-describing characteristic. Our result degenerates to yield a classification of irreducible generic FI {\mathrm{FI}} -modules in arbitrary characteristic. Equivalently, we provide a complete classification of irreducibles of admissible 𝐆𝐋 ∞ ⁢ ( 𝔽 q ) {\mathbf{GL}_{\infty}(\mathbb{F}_{q})} -representations in non-describing characteristic, which is new even in characteristic zero. This result degenerates to provide a complete classification of irreducibles of admissible S ∞ {S_{\infty}} -representations in arbitrary characteristic, which is new away from characteristic zero.

Friday Night Lights (NBC, 2006–2011) and Rectify (SundanceTV, 2013–2016) exemplified containing Christianity’s middlebrow appeal through displacement onto the cultural specificity of a realistically portrayed American South within a quality television drama. These two shows represent Christianity as both the dominant faith of their characters and as a characteristic part of Southern culture. Creatives used the milieu of an “authentic” American South to shift religion away from themselves and their quality-audience expectations, maintaining acceptability within the dominant non-Christian culture of television production. This displacement safely contained religion within the creatives’ production culture, allowing them to acknowledge Christianity’s religious content, but only within the peculiar particularity of the American South.

The article is devoted to the analysis of urban “highways-barriers” (on the example of the South-West of Moscow) – the largest highways and railways, which are characterized by a combination of a high level of contact and barrier functions. Three of their key functions are identified: limiting, stabilizing, function of unevenness and no equilibrium growth. The main transport hubs have been identified on the basis of which highway barriers are divided according to the degree of contact (barrier) into three categories. It is shown that, as a rule, the larger the spatial size of the highway-barrier, the larger its volume of traffic flow, however, there are many exceptions. In the South-West of Moscow, with a relatively even settlement, the placement of metro stations plays a key role in overcoming the barrier. On less significant highways, the role of metro stations in overcoming the barrier is especially great. In some areas, highways-barriers form barrier topological tiers. A key feature of the South-West of Moscow is the presence of two barrier tiers. Inside the first barrier tier there are objects that mark it as a special urban area. A characteristic part of the first tier is the approach to the periphery in the area where Leninsky Prospekt and Vernadsky Prospekt meet. The second barrier tier is quite small and in- cludes the area between the Cheremushkinskiy market and Profsoyuznaya street. The existing system of highways-barriers was formed by the time of registration in 1968–1970. South-West of Moscow as a whole and manifests itself at the present time.

Through examining the BBC television series, Black and British: A Forgotten History, written and presented by the historian David Olusoga, and in extending Paul Gilroy’s assertion that the everyday banality of living with difference is now an ordinary part of British life, this article considers how Olusoga’s historicization of the Black British experience reflects a convivial rendering of UK multiculture. In particular, when used alongside Žižek’s notion of parallax, it is argued that understandings of convivial culture can be supported by a historical importance that deliberately ‘shocks’, and subsequently dislodges, popular interpretations of the UK’s ‘white past’. Notably, it is parallax which puts antagonism, strangeness and ambivalence at the heart of contemporary depictions of convivial Britain, with the UK’s cultural differences located in the ‘gaps’ and tensions which characterize both its past and present. These differences should not be feared but, as a characteristic part of our convivial culture, should be supplemented with historical analyses that highlight but, also, undermine, the significance of cultural differences in the present. Consequently, it is suggested that if the spontaneity of conviviality is to encourage openness, then understandings of multiculturalism need to go beyond reification in order to challenge our understandings of the past. Here, examples of ‘alterity’ are neither ‘new’ nor ‘contemporary’, but instead, constitute a fundamental part of the nation’s history: of the ‘gap’ made visible in transiting past and present.

Everyday Life in the Things of the Late Emilia Majerowa, Neé Friedlein. A Posthumous Inventory Dated 1842 The manuscript collections of the Scientific Library of the PAAS and the PAS in Cracow (manuscript 3906) include an inventory prepared after the death of Emilia Majerowa, neé Friedlein, who died in Cracow in 1842. Her husband was Wojciech, a lawyer, and her brother-in-law was Józef Majer, the president of the Academy of Arts and Sciences. The inventory of movables was drawn up after their owner’s death; their evaluation played an important role in inheritance proceedings. The reliability of such a document is not questionable. Today it provides information about the material culture of the epoch and social class concerned – in this case, a wealthy intellectual house from the times of the Free City of Cracow. The posthumous inventory of Emilia Majerowa’s property is quite large, containing thoroughly described and evaluated home equipment, clothes, jewellery, a large library for the standards of those times, and financial documents. The edition of the inventory was preceded by a preface with facts about the Majer family, as well as information concerning the characteristics of the posthumous inventory as a legal document. The paper ends with a glossary of Old Polish terms that were still used at that time and are a characteristic part of the 19th-century vocabulary.

Wireless sensor systems (WSN) have turned into a successful answer for an extensive variety of uses. Most customary WSN models comprise of static hubs that are thickly sent over a discovery region. The total administrations of a characteristic part in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) area since they fundamentally diminish the measure of information transmissions required and increment the vitality proficiency in those systems. All current accumulation strategies have been created in light of scientific models or capacities, the WSN client won't approach the first perceptions. Through this report, we propose a calculation that enables the base station to admittance the discoveries by presenting a dispersed technique for calculating the Principle Components Analysis (PCA). The recommended calculation depends on the transmission workload of the middle hubs. At whatever point you utilize PCA, include approaching arrangement from a downstream customer in a bundle, and accordingly, a middle hub not just sends a parcel as opposed to retransmitting all parcels. Subsequently, we can accomplish a significant lessening in information communication. We have broken down the execution of the planned calculation concluded arithmetical reproductions. The trial comes about demonstrate that our calculation works superior to anything the conglomeration in view of last age PCA calculations, for example, PCAs regarding exactness and proficiency.
