The microbiological inoculants present on the market come in various formulations and forms. Inoculants used in pre-sowing bacterization of legumes in our country are traditionally prepared on peat as the highest quality carrier of bacteria. However, the requirements of the manufacturer are focused on liquid forms of inoculants. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to determine the optimal composition of the liquid medium that will support the growth of Bradyrhizobium japonicum, the soybean symbiont. Three liquid nutrient medium formulations were included in the study: mannitol-yeast medium, modified mannitol-yeast medium, and glycerol medium stored at two temperatures (4 and 25 °C), and B. japonicum cell viability was determined over 6 months. The results showed that the largest number of rhizobia (on average 4x109 zo 9x108) was obtained on yeast-mannitol medium at 4 °C as well as on modified yeast mannitol medium where their number remained constant throughout the storage time and was 5x107 cfu ml-1 at 25 °C. Further research should include testing other rhizobial protectors in order to increase the number of viable cells in longer time periods.

In this work, a series of 2-(1H-benzo[d]thiazole-2-yl)-N-arylbenzamides is synthesized by using diethyl phthalate, anilines and 2-amino-benzenethiol by one-pot three component synthesis in glycerol medium. Phosphoric acid is used as an effective reagent for this one-pot three component reaction. This reaction got completed in a short time, easy workup and gave an excellent yield in glycerol medium. The N-arylbenzamides was found to have significant cytotoxic potentials against various cancer cells viz., A549 (lung cancer), HeLa (cervical cancer) and MCF-7 (breast cancer) using MTT assay. The molecular docking study is also employed to understand the binding mechanism of N-arylbenzamides against the antibacterial target. The docking result shows the binding energy of compound 4a is -8.6 kcal/mol. The binding affinity is a major concern and it shows that Asn and Thr residues have an interaction with compound 4a.

This paper presents investigations on the new experimental setup for obtaining a compact cluster of monodisperse bubbles of a given diameter is presented. Also we provided the results of experimental study of the bubble cluster floating-up in the presence of a surfactant in a wide range of Reynolds numbers. There was held a comparison of the dynamics of the floating-up of a monodisperse bubble cluster in a glycerol medium and in the medium glycerin supplemented with a surfactant.

We have used both auxotroph and prototroph versions of the latest deletion-mutant library to identify genes required for respiratory growth on solid glycerol medium in fission yeast. This data set complements and enhances our recent study on functional and regulatory aspects of energy metabolism by providing additional proteins that are involved in respiration. Most proteins identified in this mutant screen have not been implicated in respiration in budding yeast. We also provide a protocol to generate a prototrophic mutant library, and data on technical and biological reproducibility of colony-based high-throughput screens.
