The article is devoted to the study of body mass index (BMI) indicators of biology students at Samara University in 20008-2020. For girls, against the background of fluctuations over the years, from 2015-2016 to 2020. there is a consistent decrease in the proportion of people with underweight, an increase in the proportion of people with normal weight. For young men, changes in the BMI structure are of a more pronounced oscillatory character. The negative features of the 2019 and 2020 contingent are the emergence of overweight and obese people. Key words: students, physical health, body weight, Samara region, body mass index.

The purpose of the work to investigate the connection between hospital mortality and markers of systemic inflammation in COVID-19 patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD).Material and methods. The data of 52 patients’cases of diseases on COVID-19 with IHD who underwent inpatient treatment were analyzed. The first group included 40 patients who were discharged with recovery, and the second group included 12 patients who died. The degree of systemic inflammation syndrome in the selected groups of patients was estimated by the number of leukocytes and cellular composition of peripheral blood upon admission to the hospital, and based on the data received, the value of hematological integral indices was calculated.Results. It has been established that group II patients who died of cardiovascular complications connected with COVID-19 had significantly higher levels of systemic inflammatory response, which exhibits a significant increase in the total blood white blood cell content and increases in the percentage of neutrophils with a decrease in the percentage of lymphocytes and is substantially higher than the integrated haematological indices: leukocyte shift index, index of the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes and index of the ratio of neutrophils to monocytes. During the systemic inflammatory reaction, it has been observed that the inflammatory process aggravates the coronary atherosclerotic plaque making them more susceptible to rupture. Therefore, we can assume that existing IHD combined with an enhanced inflammatory response can lead to heart damage in patients infected with SARS-CoV- 2.Conclusion. Lymphocytopenia, excessive activation of the inflammatory cascade and heart damage are important features of COVID-19 disease and have high predictive value.

Abstract. Information and communication technologies (ICT) are a set of equipment (devices, systems, etc.) and techniques with associated software (software systems and software tools) that have been developed and used for more efficient communication, creation, distribution, storage and management of information. The IDI (ICT Development Index) index is most often used to measure ICT resources, which is defined as a composite index that combines 11 indicators (classified into 3 sub-indices: Access, Use and Skills). Data on values of IDI index has been retrieved from Measuring the Information Society Report (MISR), which since 2008 has been publishing by International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The IDI index for 2017 was determined for 176 countries of the world, with the first on the ranking list was Iceland with IDI2017=8.98 and the last Eritrea with IDI2017=0.96. The mean value of IDI index for 2017 was Avg=5.11, standard deviation was StD=2.22 and coefficient of variation was CoV=43.52. In this paper is given of analysis of IDI (ICT development index) for measuring ICT resources in Georgia. The data were approximated using a 3rd degree polynomial regression model (PRM3) with a correlation coefficient R=0.9964, determination coefficient R2=0.9928 and adjustment coefficient of determination is AdjR2=0.9885.

Financial security of the country means the absence of threats to the financial system, ensuring the stability and development of the financial system and the ability to maintain the financial sovereignty of the state. The aim of the article is to evaluate financial security in EU countries. The aggregate financial security index (AFSI) is used to reach this goal. AFSI calculation is based on five sub-indexes: Human Development Index, Economic Globalisation Index, Financial Development Index, Index of Economic Freedom and Country Level Index of Financial Stress. The results show that Market-based EU countries have the highest financial security. The lowest financial security was set in Eastern European countries.

As a rule, periodontal diseases are accompanied by marginal recession of the gums, loss of attachment and exposure of the roots of the teeth. Traditional drugs for injection treatment are being replaced by modern drugs based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which are successfully and highly efficiently used for local therapy of inflammatory and destructive periodontal diseases. In order to restore the volume of soft tissues in the interdental spaces, eliminate recessions and bleeding of the gingival margin, a preparation of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid “Revident +” was used, which was injected into the base of the gingival papilla at a distance of 2—3 mm from its top with the bevel of the needle upwards. To assess gingival bleeding, the PBI (papilla bleeding index) index was used, which is a sensitive indicator of the severity of gingival inflammation. The magnitude of gingival recession before and after treatment was assessed according to its severity: mild — up to 3 mm, moderate — 3—5 mm, and severe — 6 and more mm. Examination of periodontal patients before and 1.5 months after the application of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid in the composition of the Revident + preparation showed that the degree of gingival bleeding according to PBI decreased significantly after the third visit from 4 to 2 and from 3 to 1, respectively. The degree of gingival recession in the area of the anterior group of teeth decreased by an average of 2.1 mm, in the area of premolars — by 2.5 mm, and in the area of molars — by 2.8 mm.

Abstract The aim of this article is to present the state of the art on the sustainability indices of rural water services in order to identify gaps in knowledge. The methodological approach used was to conduct online searches using the databases of Google Scholar, Web of Science, Pub Med, the International Water Association, and ResearchGate. Several indices have been identified in the literature including the Canadian Water Sustainability Index, Index of Drinking Water Adequacy, the Sustainable Water Governance Index, equity index in water and sanitation, WASH performance Index, Sustainable Water Management Index, and Index of water service quality. However, these indices do not provide an integrative, contextualized and prospective analysis of the sustainability of water services. In addition, these indices select only a few evaluation criteria deemed relevant. In other words, these indices make the choice to make visible certain phenomena and therefore in invisibility of others according to the logic of action of each and certain social compromises. These difficulties therefore encourage the development of a new index to provide an integrative, contextual and prospective analysis of the sustainability of rural water services.
