Political communication highly depends on generic figurative frames such as Politics Is War, Object, Sport, Art and Politics Is Landscape. Regarding political art, it is suggested that artists use complex cognitive solutions (e.g. parallel issue-specific frames) in creative ways which are connected with one of the major generic frames. The study discusses parliament-representations (made between 2006 and 2015) which are not only attractive elements of the cityscape; thus, not literary representations of the building. Using the method of visual framing, the analyses (1) describe the artworks, (2) interpret the occurring symbols and metaphors determined contextually, and (3) reveal the ideological and power relations. Summing up, political artworks can be comprehended according to conventional mental schemas. However, artists usually create a minimum of two competing specifications of the general frames occurring at the same time, and let the viewer choose the one that fits better with their worldview.

The cumulative phantasy of literary inherited in the contemporary Iraqi theatre's texts composes important pivot and a literary cultural phenomena has its' distinguished presence in the Iraqi theatre represented by inspiration of literary inherited and urging the collective memory by aesthetic and conceptual frames via works of dramatic processing by shifting central structures and their time-place and structural transformations in the theatrical text. The research consists of four chapters, first chapter tackled with the methodical frame and included the research's problem that is specified by the following question: ((What is the cumulative phantasy of literary inherited and how was employed in the contemporary Iraqi theatre's text?)). The research concerned with knowing the special and general frames of the cumulative phantasy of literary inherited concept and knowing also their cognitive paths, references and innovative producing tools according to cognitive time's evidences to arise the viewer's memory and rooting the cultural identity. The research aims to briefing the cumulative phantasy of literary inherited in the contemporary theatrical text. The research's limits included studying the cumulative phantasy of literary inherited in the contemporary Iraqi theatrical texts for the period (1965-2005) also first chapter included the terms and defining them also. While the second chapter consists of three sections, first one was about phantasy philosophy and its' conceptual concepts, second section was about the phantasy and its' psychological concept, third section was about phantasy and its' representations in the Arabian theatrical literary inherited. Third chapter included research's procedures of a population included (15) theatrical texts, sample consisted of two theatrical texts, choosing was by intentional method whereas conforms with the research's subject and achieving the required goal represented by (Almiftah) for Yousif Al-Ani and the play (Al-Layali Al-Sumariyah) for the writer (Lutfiyah Al-Dulaimi). The researcher considered the depicting method to analyze the research's sample, she relied on the indications of theoretical frame in analyzing. Fourth chapter included results and conclusions, some of them are: 1. Text were featured with drama structure based on inspiration of the inherited and reproduce it by contrast according to the…. Of the phantasy, cumulative of the literary public inherited via shifting techniques, symbols and interpretations of indications. 2. Writers' phantasy added manifestations of public and national identity and its' structures sublimation by its' limits, historical and inherited evidences, permanence and existence by opening the eras. 3. Parallel and harmonic employment that express the inherited characters with a contemporary visions

The article is devoted to the assessment of the rules, possibilities and manners of using and applying firearms by the Police in terms of compliance with human rights. The first part of the study contains analyses focusing on general frames for the use and application of firearms and circumstances giving premises for the use or application of these arms. In the next section, the discussion covers the conduct of law enforcement officials preceding the use of firearms and refers to the question of the so-called special use of firearms. The content of the final part of the article covers mechanisms preventing abuse regarding the use and application of firearms and procedures for situations of breaching legal regulations for the use of such arms. The article closes with the summary where, based on the analyses of existing solutions and available statistical data, a conclusion is made that the Police exercise proper caution so as to ensure the observance of human rights in relation to holding legislative power to use and apply firearms. The key methods applied while preparing this article were the legal analysis and the institutional analysis. In the alternative, a descriptive method with the application of the critical analysis of the literature on the subject was also employed.

Abstract The celebrated van Benthem characterization theorem states that on Kripke structures modal logic is the bisimulation-invariant fragment of first-order logic. In this paper, we prove an analogue of the van Benthem characterization theorem for models based on descriptive general frames. This is an important class of general frames for which every modal logic is complete. These frames can be represented as Stone spaces equipped with a ‘continuous’ binary relation. The proof of our theorem generalizes Rosen’s proof of the van Benthem theorem for finite frames and uses as an essential technique a new notion of descriptive unravelling. We also develop a basic model theory for descriptive general frames and show that in many ways it behaves like the model theory of finite structures. In particular, we prove the failure of the compactness theorem, of the Beth definability theorem, of the Craig interpolation theorem and of the upward Löwenheim–Skolem theorem.1

Organized forms of animal advocacy date back to the final decades of the 20th century. Born in progressive political milieus, animal advocacy and especially the more radical positions of vegan and animal rights activists originally assumed anticapitalist and counter-hegemonic perspectives. More recently, however, the spreading of veganism among civil society has very often related to reasons of health or fashion, sometimes far from ethical or political motivations. In this article, this shift is analysed, based on an empirical study conducted among Italian animal advocates. Interest in non-human animals was originally located among more generic counter-hegemonic frames, but this recent shift gives more and more space to an a-political consumerist approach to veganism. In particular, adapting a Gramscian vocabulary, two different perspectives among Italian animal advocates are identified and described: passive revolution and war of position. They are presented both referring to general frames and in relation to a specific event, Expo2015 in Milan, which carried the caption ‘Feeding the planet, energy for life’, and was very much related to animal questions. In a similar way to greenwashing and pinkwashing operations, also veganwashing is assuming a central role within a capitalist hegemonic discourse.

Presented herein is a matrix method for buckling analysis of general frames based on the Hencky bar-chain model comprising of rigid segments connected by hinges with elastic rotational springs. Unlike the conventional matrix method of structural analysis based on the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory, the Hencky bar-chain model (HBM) matrix method allows one to readily handle the localized changes in end restraint conditions or localized structural changes (such as local damage or local stiffening) by simply tweaking the spring stiffnesses. The developed HBM matrix method was applied to solve some illustrative example problems to demonstrate its versatility in solving the buckling problem of beams and frames with various boundary conditions and local changes. It is hoped that this easy-to-code HBM matrix method will be useful to engineers in solving frame buckling problems.

This work concerns the use of operators for past and future con-tingency in Priorean temporal logic. We will develop a system namedCt, whose language includes a propositional constant and prove that(i) Ct is complete with respect to a certain class of general frames and(ii) the usual operators for past and future necessity are denable insuch system. Furthermore, we will introduce the extension Ctlin thatcan be interpreted on linear and transitive general frames. The theo-retical result of the current work is that contingency can be treatedas a primitive notion in reasoning about temporal modalities.

In order to estimate the current situation of teaching materials available in the field of semiotics, we are providing a comparative overview and a worldwide bibliography of introductions and textbooks on general semiotics published within last 50 years, i.e. since the beginning of institutionalization of semiotics. In this category, we have found over 130 original books in 22 languages. Together with the translations of more than 20 of these titles, our bibliography includes publications in 32 languages. Comparing the authors, their theoretical backgrounds and the general frames of the discipline of semiotics in different decades since the 1960s makes it possible to describe a number of predominant tendencies. In the extensive bibliography thus compiled we also include separate lists for existing lexicons and readers of semiotics as additional material not covered in the main discussion. The publication frequency of new titles is growing, with a certain depression having occurred in the 1980s. A leading role of French, Russian and Italian works is demonstrated.
