The low ability of junior and senior high school students in the field of Mathematics and Science equal to their low interest in deciding their career in the STEM field prompted this research. This study aims to develop module car safety STELR – STEM based for learning physics and to test its effectiveness in learning. The type of this research is Research and Development (R & D) or development research using the 4D model, namely Define , Design , Development and Disseminate. The car safety  based STELR-STEM module - which is used as a medium for learning motion and force. The conclusions generated from this study are (1) From the results of the validation test obtained 90% results so that it can be concluded that the product development in this study has the eligibility criteria. The Car Safety module was declared valid by experts, very good category, (2) From the results of the questionnaire students got a score of 86% getting a very positive response in a limited trial, (3) In the effectiveness test the average test score of the experimental class is greater than the average value of the control class, with a difference of 11, the Car Safety module is declared effective in learning ABSTRAKRendah nya kemampuan siswa SMP dan SMA pada bidang Matematika sains juga rendah nya minat mereka dalam memutuskan karir mereka dibidang STEM mendorong penelitian ini.

Parts produced from PBT-GF30 (70% polybutylene terephthalate +30% fiberglass) are very often used in car construction, due to the properties of this material. The current trend is to make parts with a shape designed to be as complex as possible, to take over many functions in operation. During the research, a part that is a component of the structure of car safety systems, and that must be completely reliable in operation, was analyzed. This piece has a complex shape that involves the intersection of several walls. Thus, the research aimed at establishing the optimal radius of connection between the walls (R), the ratio between the thickness of the intersecting walls (K) and the angle of inclination of the walls (α). The composite central design method was used to design the experiments. Both new parts and parts subject to an artificial aging process were tested. All parts were subjected to shear stress, to determine the load (L) and displacement (D) at which they break. In order to observe other changes in the properties of the parts, in addition to the mechanical ones, an analysis of the color of the new and aged parts was performed, as well as a topography of the surface layer in the breaking area. The design of the parts involved changes to the parameters of the injection process. In these conditions, a PBT-GF30 viscosity analysis was performed for new and artificially aged parts.

People travel for work, medical care, food, school, and to escape violence and poverty. How a society organizes transportation shapes opportunities for health and happiness. This chapter analyses how recent changes in capitalism have modified transport options in ways that increase pollution and climate change, encourage physical inactivity, make cities less liveable, and create “transport deserts” where affordable travel is hard to find. Car companies like General Motors, Toyota and Volkswagen have failed to correct defects or cheat on air pollution devices; Uber and Lyft undermine mass transit to grow their businesses; and Big Tech and auto companies promote rapid deployment of inadequately tested autonomous vehicles. These examples show how globalization, deregulation, and the demand for immediate profits have constricted transport options and increased health risks. In response, transport equity advocates, car safety groups, some city officials, and transport workers have organized to create healthier, more equitable transport options.

The automotive industry is among the prominent industry contributing to the Malaysian GDP rose by 3.6%, with a value of RM 40 billion in 2016. The automotive industry is one of the fastest-growing economic sectors in all other sectors with the primary purpose of providing safe and accessible transportation for the world's increasing population. The vehicle owner and demand increase, but in the same way, road traffic accidents reported higher each year even though ASEAN NCAP has been introduced to improve the car safety level. Thus, this study aims to investigate further the technology shift and design features as external and internal environmental scanning towards car safety design and manufacturing from car manufacturer perspectives
