A mathematical model of the functioning of the indicator polymer piezoelectroluminescent (PEL) coating for diagnosing external mechanical effects - quasi-static pressing of rigid ball particles has been developed. The algorithm of numerical processing of informative intensity of light flux at the output from optical fiber built into indicator coating of optical fiber PEL-sensor is presented. A numerical analysis for the case of single mechanical effect revealed the regularities of influence of the values of the sensor spiral pitch on the informative parts of the resulting spectra of light flux intensity and pressure distribution along the length of the sensor spiral. Informative characteristic points of pressure spectra plots were revealed; these are points of maxima, abscissa and values of which make it possible to find the desired values of radius and pressing force of a rigid ball particle.

The subject of the research is theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of accounting automation and financial reporting on enterprise security. The purpose of the work is to identify problems and establish trends in the implementation of accounting and financial reporting on the basis of automation and substantiation of the problem of computerization of accounting processes, information security of enterprises and management of the future. Methodological basis of the article became general scientific methods of cognition, generalization, method of comparative analysis and other methods of research. Results of work. The role of implementation of automation, software and computerization of accounting processes and financial reporting on the security of domestic enterprises and organizations has been determined. An informative characteristic of competitive advantages and properties of the most used programs is provided. At the same time, risks and threats to information security of enterprises, their sources and manifestations are revealed. The complex of measures for preservation and strengthening of information security is substantiated. A plan and measures for their implementation have been developed. Submitted suggestions for further research in order to strengthen the security of enterprises and improve its management. The field of application of the results is that the stated proposals on automation of accounting and financial reporting can be used by managers and specialists of enterprises for the purpose of safety improvement. Conclusions. The introduction of automated systems and programs for accounting and accounting and financial reporting is a significant factor in improving the efficiency of domestic enterprises. At the same time, the security of the operation of enterprises increases due to greater accuracy and impartiality of the information used, and a significant reduction of their costs on accounting and analytical processes. However, because of the specifics of automation and computerization (connecting to more global networks, using typical programs and metrics, etc.), the openness of information systems increases, the threats to commercial secrets and the risks of competitive business increase in general. It updates the importance of providing and further improving the information security of enterprises and organizations in the long run.

This article is devoted to an informative characteristic of the main areas of traffic psychology. The article attempts to outline the “subject area” of this field and to characterize the relationship with other branches of psychology. This article highlights applied researches in traffic psychology help for understanding the role of human factor in the formation and development of the transport environment and road safety. The article provides an overview of some socio-psychological problems caused by the specifics of modern transport environment. Solving these problems can help ensure road safety, minimize the risks of traffic behavior and reduce social tensions in road traffic. It is a very important and necessity for solving of transport problems in modern megalopolises. The possible directions of prospective studies of traffic psychology in Russia are considered.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine how repatriates’ emotional support network affects their experience of re-entry. Design/methodology/approach This inductive, qualitative study is based on 27 semi-structured, in-depth interviews with Belgian organizational repatriates. Findings The analyses suggest that expatriation empathy is a key attribute of organizational repatriates’ main emotional support providers. In addition, the results show that although partners are a main source of emotional support on re-entry, they are also important potential causes of distress. Lastly, the results suggest that the cultural diversity of a repatriate’s emotional support network is linked with characteristics of the assignment and that it affects the experience of repatriation. Research limitations/implications The results provide empirical evidence that the expatriation empathy of repatriates’ support providers is a more informative characteristic to consider compared with whether they have personal experience of expatriation. In addition, the results suggest that research should also take into account the negative side of social support, and, for example, consider the influence of crossover distress of partners who experience relocation difficulties themselves. Practical implications This study points to the possible benefits of organizing social activities or training for repatriates and their partner and any children, as well as the advantages of encouraging expatriates to invite home-country friends to visit. Originality/value Although most scholars agree on the importance of support for expatriates’ well-being, the sources of relevant emotional support have received little research attention so far, as has how this influences the repatriation experience.

High values of residual stresses is one of the most common reason of breaking lots of metal constructions, including rails. These stresses can reach values of flow limit, especially in the area of faults. Estimation of residual stresses values allows to get information about technical condition of the rail and also allow to avoid abnormal situations So, the aim of the research is creating the model of stress-strain state of the rail, which was hardened in its top and bottom, and to compare modeling results with experimental measurements of stresses and discrepancy of the housing. For creating the model and making evaluations by finite element method we used a program COMSOL. Forces on the top and bottom of the rail cause tension stresses, forces on the web of the rail cause tensile stresses. We compared calculated values of stresses with discrepancy of the housing. The discrepancy of the housing is informative characteristic for estimating the residual stresses according to standards. For experimental measurements we used an acoustic structuroscope SEMA. This structuroscope uses the acoustoelastic phenomenon for measurements. We made measurements of the five rails.According to the calculation results of the model, critical discrepancy of the housing in 2 mm corresponded to the following values of maximum stresses: –54 MPa in the top of the rail, 86 MPa in the web and –62 MPa in the bottom of the rail. Experimental measurements are the following: from –48 MPa to – 64 MPa in the top of the rail, 54 MPa to 93 MPa in the web of the rail, and –59 MPA to –74 MPa in the bottom of the rail. Absolute error was ±5 MPa.Thus we created the model, which allowed to analyze strain-stress state and compare real values of stresses with discrepancy of the housing. Results of the modeling showed coincidence with structure of distribution of residual stresses in five probes of rails.

Abstract. Manifestations of the so-called structure induced nonlinearity are considered for the case of a granular medium, the latter being a generally accepted model of nonconsolidated rocks in seismics. The consideration is carried out using the medium model in the form of the "ideal" random packing of spherical elastic granules in which the interparticle space can be filled with a fluid. A physical equation of such a medium is derived; the dependencies of nonlinear parameters on the grain material elastic moduli, the fluid compressibility and the initial medium strain are analyzed. The influence of defects in nonideal grain packings (that is, the presence of a fraction of unloaded intergranular contacts) upon the nonlinear properties of the medium is investigated. It is shown that the packing nonideality has the stronger effect on higher-order nonlinear properties. It is demonstrated that the nonlinear parameters may be used in exploration seismology as a much more sensitive and informative characteristic compared with conventionally used linear moduli.
