The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of Normal Tissue Complication Probability (NTCP) models on radiation treatment plans. We estimated NTCP parameters for the organs at risk (OARs) for cervical cancer radiotherapy. We pooled individual patient data from fifty patients who were treated with External Beam Radiotherapy technique between March 2012 and November 2013 in a part of Northern Nigeria with the exclusion of patients who had other gynaecological malignancies. Three basic methods were followed during the radiotherapy planning of these patients which included the pre-planning stage, planning radiotherapy treatment stage and treatment delivery. Various tests were carried out on these patients which helped to confirm the diagnosis after which they were treated using the linear accelerator, computed tomography simulator and the treatment planning system. We calculated the normal tissue tolerance doses for partial volumes of the organs using the values of the above –said parameters for published data on normal tissue tolerance doses. This article shows a graphical representation of the computed NTCP for left femur, right femur and skin presented and a fairly good correspondence is found between the curves for head of femurs and skin. This study was conducted to determine the forecasting of Honda motorcycle sales at the Dealer Cahaya Motor Indah Muara Tembesi. The purpose of this study are: a) To know the development of Honda motorcycle sales at the Dealer Cahaya Motor Indah Muara Tembesi b) to know the forecasting of Honda motorcycle sales at the Dealer of Cahaya Motor Indah Muara Tembesi and c) To know the correct the right methode  forecasting used Dealer Cahaya Indah Motor Muara Tembesi. The type of data used in this study is, primary data and secondary data with data sources obtained directly from Dealer Cahaya Indah Motor Muara Tembesi namely motorcycle sales data. Data collection method is done through literature study, From the data obtained and the analysis of the development of Honda motorcycle sales at dealer Cahaya Motor Indah Muara Tembesi within a period of four years ie 2012 to 2016 experiencing the fluctuating sales growth seen in 2013 there was a decline sales of 55.58%, for the year 2014 again a decline in sales from the previous year amounted to 11.76%, while in 2015 there was an increase of 26.59%, but in 2016 again sales decline by 24.57% from the previous year . The decrease of sales growth at Cahaya Motor Indah dealership is one of them caused by unstable community income, in general the source of income from the plantation sector (palm and rubber) which during the year of analysis also fluctuate in price, so it has influence on the demand of bicycle motorcycle. From the average sales volume growth of 1,025 units, then through the rationalization analysis peralaman is known forst sales volume in 2017 is 913 units, while the right method to be used by the Dealer Cahaya Motor Indah Muara Tembesi in forecasting is the method of Least Square and Moment Trend Method. Keywords: Method; Forecast; Sales

The temperature of a Lithium battery cell is important for its performance, efficiency, safety, and capacity and is influenced by the environmental temperature and by the charging and discharging process itself. Battery Management Systems (BMS) take into account this effect. As the temperature at the battery cell is difficult to measure, often the temperature is measured on or nearby the poles of the cell, although the accuracy of predicting the cell temperature with those quantities is limited. Therefore a thermal model of the battery is used in order to calculate and estimate the cell temperature. This paper uses a simple RC-network representation for the thermal model and shows how the thermal parameters are identified using input/output measurements only, where the load current of the battery represents the input while the temperatures at the poles represent the outputs of the measurement. With a single measurement the eight model parameters (thermal resistances, electric contact resistances, and heat capacities) can be determined using the method of least-square. Experimental results show that the simple model with the identified parameters fits very accurately to the measurements.

In this study, transmuted two parameters Rayleigh distribution is proposed using quadratic rank transmutation map. This proposed distribution is more flexible and versatile than two parameters Rayleigh distribution. Some properties of the proposed distribution are derived such as moments, moment generating function, mean, variance, median, quantile function, reliability, and hazard function. The parameter estimation is approached through the method of least square estimation. The th and joint order statistics are also derived for the proposed distribution. The application of proposed model illustrated and compared using real data.

In this study, speed control of induction motors was performed as sensorless with Method of Least Square + Scalar Control (MLS+SC) model. For the analysis of method, two other methods SC and PI + SCI were also used and these methods were modeled with Matlab / Simulink software. When compared the simulation results obtained from this method, it is understood that the proposed method is usable.

The purpose of this study is to disclose the mechanism about arterial behavior for the development of the in situ diagnosis of human artery. Then, a method which can evaluate the viscoelasticity of artery is proposed for this purpose. In this evaluation, three-element solid model is adopted as a constitutive model of arterial tissue. A cylindrical tube of silicone rubber which imitates human artery is used in the validation of the proposed method. Here, the specimen is inserted to an artificial system of circulatory organ. The material parameters of this model are identified from the pulsatile behavior of the tube cylinder. The evaluation method is validated to derive the parameters at the same time by using the applied pulsatile pressure and deformation and the method of least-square. In the validated results, it is shown that the method can evaluate in more detail about the mechanical evaluation of the pulsatile tube imitating artery.

Granular model, a part of Eulerian-Eulerian approach is implemented to improve a gas-solid cyclone separator’s performances which are largely determined by dimensions of a vortex finder. Design-Of-Experiments method analyzes the performances such as pressure loss, separation efficiency, and erosion rate of each variation model due to the change of design parameters of the vortex finder. Separation efficiencies due to the motion of solid particles are predicted according to the classical efficiency model by using the method of least square. The numerical results are validated by comparing with previously reported experimental data. The standard Stairmand design cyclone is improved judging from the reduced pressure loss by 43%, the reduced cut size by 63% and the reduced erosion rate by 2% by changing the position and the diameter of the vortex finder.
