Chronic endometritis is a clinical and morphological syndrome with a complex of morphological and functional changes in the endometrium, leading to a violation of the physiological cyclic transformation and receptivity of endometrial tissues. The treatment of chronic endometritis requires special consideration. Despite the progress of pharmacotherapy, there are significant methodological and practical difficulties. Cavitated solutions, low-intensity ultrasound effects, and photochromotherapy increase the effectiveness of the treatment of chronic endometritis and female infertility.

The article presents the analysis of the mental images of human desires and their verbalization techniques involved in Bertrand Russell’s Nobel lecture delivered in 1950. Human desires are non-material mental constructs that are not clearly defined in the dictionaries, their verbalization being complicated by the issues related to rationality, psychology of thinking, objectivity, and the variability of individual behavioral reactions. The results of the research suggest that the verbalization of desires is essentially complicated by social and cultural stereotypes. It has been noted that storytelling can be applied as one of the most effective techniques to create the required mental imagery of desires in the recipient’s mind. B. Russell’s unique manner of defining such politically important desires as acquisitiveness, vanity, glory, love of power, excitement is carefully analyzed. The use of figurative language as well as conceptual and stylistic metaphors that facilitate the process of shaping mental images of desires have also been the focus of our attention. Special consideration has been given to the analysis of the verbalization means of the politically important desires.

Resume. Resuscitation of the obese patient presents a challenge for even the most skilled physician. Changes in anatomy, metabolic, cardiopulmonary reserve, ventilation, circulation, and pharmacokinetics require special consideration. This article focuses on critical components in the resuscitation of the obese patient, namely circulatory resuscitation, defibrillation, approach to the obese airway and mechanical ventilation, pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular drugs. Materials and methods: Electronic databases of Scopus and PubMed were searched using keyword searches Conclusions. Obesity causes important anatomical and physiological changes that affect resuscitation measures. Healthcare professionals should take into account the specifics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in patients with morbid obesity to increase the effectiveness of resuscitation in this group of patients

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) have been implicated not only in the regulation of developmental processes but also in the release of biologically active molecules and in the modulation of repair during tertiary dentine formation. Although efforts to preserve dentine have focused on inhibiting the activity of these proteases, their function is much more complex and necessary for dentine repair than expected. The present review explores the role of MMPs as bioactive components of the dentine matrix involved in dentine formation, repair and regeneration. Special consideration is given to the mechanical properties of dentine, including those of reactionary and reparative dentine, and the known roles of MMPs in their formation. MMPs are critical components of the dentine matrix and should be considered as important candidates in dentine regeneration.
