In this paper, we derived electromagnetic field transformations and electromagnetic field equations of Maxwell in Rindler space-time in the context of general theory of relativity. We then treat the Lorentz gauge transformation and the Lorentz gauge fixing condition in Rindler space-time and obtained the transformation of differential operation, the electromagnetic 4-vector potential and the field. In addition, charge density and the electric current density in Rindler spacetimeare derived. To view the invariance of the gauge transformation, gauge theory is applied to Maxwell equations in Rindler space-time. In Appendix A, we show that the electromagnetic wave function cannot exist in Rindler space-time. An important point we assert in this article is the uniqueness of the accelerated frame. It is because, in the accelerated frame, one can treat electromagnetic field equations.

Using a suitable gauge transformation matrix, we present a N -fold Darboux transformation for a Vakhnenko lattice system. This transformation preserves the form of Lax pair of the Vakhnenko lattice system. Applying the obtained Darboux transformation, we arrive at an exact solution of the Vakhnenko lattice system.

A complete theory of weak-field gravity is described: the linearized approximation. This is a form of first-order perturbation theory. The concept of a gauge transformation, as applied to the curvature tensor and the field equation, is explained, and it is shown how to reduce the field equation to a wave equation in the Lorenz gauge (under the linear approximation). Thus a huge variety of gravitational calculations become accessible.

Abstract A characteristic value formulation of the Weyl double copy leads to an asymptotic formulation. We find that the Weyl double copy holds asymptotically in cases where the full solution is algebraically general, using rotating STU supergravity black holes as an example. The asymptotic formulation provides clues regarding the relation between asymptotic symmetries that follows from the double copy. Using the C-metric as an example, we show that a previous interpretation of this gravity solution as a superrotation has a single copy analogue relating the appropriate Liénard-Wiechert potential to a large gauge transformation.

In this paper, we studied a semidiscrete coupled equation, which is integrable in the sense of admitting Lax representations. Proposed first by Vakhnenko in 2006, local conservation laws and one-fold Darboux transformation were presented with different forms, respectively, in O. O. Vakhnenko, J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 84, 014003 (2015); O. O. Vakhnenko, J. Math. Phys. 56, 033505 (2015); O. O. Vakhnenko, J. Math. Phys. 56, 033505 (2015). On the basis of these results, we principally construct [Formula: see text]-fold Darboux transformation by means of researching gauge transformation of its Lax pair, and work out its explicit multisolutions. Given a set of seed solutions and appropriate parameters, we can calculate two-soliton solutions and plot their figures when [Formula: see text].

AbstractThis paper is concerned with the construction of the fifth-order inhomogeneous Heisenberg supermagnetic models. Moreover, the Lax representations of the models are presented. By means of the gauge transformation, we establish their gauge equivalent equations with different quadratic constraints, i.e., the super and fermionic fifth-order inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equations, respectively. In addition, we investigate their Lax representations and Bäcklund transformations from which the solutions of the super integrable systems have been discussed.

In this paper, by using the gauge transformation and the Lax pairs, the N-fold Darboux transformation (DT) of the classical three-component nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations is given. In addition, by taking seed solutions and using the DT, exact solutions for the given NLS equations are constructed.

In the Dirac theory of the quantum-mechanical interaction of a magnetic monopole and an electric charge, the vector potential is singular from the origin to infinity along a certain direction — the so-called Dirac string. Imposing the famous quantization condition, the singular string attached to the monopole can be rotated arbitrarily by a gauge transformation, and hence is not physically observable. By deriving its analytical expression and analyzing its properties, we show that the gauge function [Formula: see text] which rotates the string to another one is a smooth function everywhere in space, except their respective strings. On the strings, [Formula: see text] is a multi-valued function. Consequently, some misunderstandings in the literature are clarified.
