Evaluating Nurse Data Navigation Training Program: A Quality Improvement Project

Nursing ability to navigate data by sourcing, visualizing, and managing data provides for skill and insights development. Effectiveness of clinical, operational and strategic decision making is underpinned by sound understanding of the data. The object of this quality improvement project is to design, deliver and evaluate a nursing specific training program using spreadsheet software Excel to improve nurse competence and confidence in data navigation.

Modeling sensitivity indices of industrial enterprise organizational change

Evaluation of sensitivity of commercial enterprises to organizational changes should be made in terms of short-term planning for which it is important to ensure the financial results, as well as in terms of long-term planning, which is important for non-monetary indicators of development effectiveness. To solve this problem, the paper is designed model sensitivity Descriptive indicators of industrial enterprises to organizational changes, reflecting monetary and non-monetary effects of organizational change. The authors determined that the proposed model allows for the analysis of organizational change with regard to their impact on monetary and non-monetary efficiency. This paper contributes to the theory and practice at the border to ensure a balance between short-term and long-term development of industrial enterprises. Convincingly demonstrated the possibility of using research results in practice.

Psychosemantic interpretation of media space video advertising for brands (Mcdonald’s, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Roshen)

The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to increase the evidence-based studies on enhancing the development effectiveness of audiovisual advertising message, which creates an urgent demand for further scholarly elaboration of such a complex phenomenon as psychosemantic analysis of video advertising. The purpose of the study is to identify opportunities to increase efficiency of audiovisual communication by conducting the psychosemantic study of the perception of video advertising of brands. The methodological basis of the study is a set of marketing, sociological and psychological methods. In particular, the focus group, survey, semantic differential and George Kelly's repertory grid methods were chosen to study the psychosemantic space of the target audience. Correspondingly, the qualitative results of psychosemantic influence of video advertising on consumer consciousness were achieved through mathematical calculations and graphic illustrations. The study presents the results of psychosemantic research of video commercials, which highlight the features of their psychosemantic perception by the consumer. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the previous experience, knowledge and personal values of target audience representatives have an impact on their perception of different types of video advertising of the brand within one advertising campaign. The recommendations for improving the efficiency of audiovisual communication have been developed.

Development of control processes of research and production subsystems at scientific enterprises of rocket and space engineering

В статье уточнено влияние процессов управления научно-исследовательской и производственной подсистемами наукоёмких предприятий РКМ на эффективность их развития. Доказано с использованием методов логико-абстрактного моделирования, что сложившаяся организационно-экономическая структура наукоёмких предприятий РКМ не совершенна и требует изменения управления научно-исследовательской и производственной подсистемами, совокупность которых за счёт синергетического эффекта, проявляемого во внутриорганизационной и межорганизационной интеграции, позволит дать оценку общей эффективности их развития. Проведен анализ показателей наукоемкости предприятий РКМ, который установил, что целесообразна их научно-производственная интеграция в пространственных моделях, внедрение и использование технологических платформ. The article specifies R&D and production management process upon knowledge-intensive rocket and space enterprises in respect or their development effectiveness. It is approved with the method of abstract logical modeling that contemporary organization and economic structure of the knowledge-intencive enterprises has to be modified in terms of R&D and production subsystem management. Both of them will lead to increase development by synergetic effect caused by inter- and cross- organization integration. The analysis of the indicators of the science intensity of enterprises of the knowledge-intensive rocket and space enterprises was carried out, it was established that their scientific and industrial integration in spatial models, the introduction and use of technological platforms is expedient.

PENGEMBANGAN WADUK JATILUHUR SEBAGAI KAWASAN WISATA TERPADU KABUPATEN PURWAKARTA

Waduk Jatiluhur is in Jatiluhur Subdistrict, Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province. Now Perum Jasa Tirta II as a manager has been developing Waduk Jatiluhur as an integrated tourism area through Tourism Division with the aim of improving development effectiveness. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the main of supporting factors is the beautiful natural panorama, the extent of Waduk Jatiluhur area and the atmosphere of tourism objects that provide comfort for visitors. However, the pattern of land use in Waduk Jatiluhur area that is considered to have supported the tourism activities does not have a zoning system so that the activity of tourism and hydropower activities have not had a clear division of zones. In supporting the development of tourism in Waduk Jatiluhur, zoning area is needed to separate the core activities of the Dam River Basin and Hydroelectric Power Plant with tourism activities or with community ponds to avoid errors in the land use so that the development of tourism can provide maximal contribution.

Text Analysis of Project Completion Reports

Project Completion Reports (PCRs) are the main instrument through which different multilateral organizations measure the success of a project once it closes. PCRs are important for development effectiveness as they serve to understand achievements, failures, and challenges within the project cycle they can feed back into the design and execution of new projects. The aim of this paper is to introduce text analysis tools for the exploration of PCR documents. We describe and apply different text analysis tools to explore the content of a sample of PCRs. We seek to illustrate a way in which PCRs can be summarized and analyzed using innovative tools applied to a unique dataset. We believe that the methods presented in this investigation have numerous potential applications to different types of text documents routinely prepared within the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
