AbstractThe aim of the study was to recognise what participant-, training- and post-injury-related factors are associated with an injury and re-injury occurrence in female pole dancers (PDs). 320 female PDs fulfilled a custom survey. 1050 injuries were reported by 276 PDs, 59% of injuries were related to lower extremity, 39% to upper extremity and 10% to spine and trunk. 156 PDs reported sustaining a re-injury, and overall, 628 re-injuries were reported. The median weekly pole-specific training session volume was 90 min and 240 min in the low and high qualified group, respectively. The total training volume was 180 min in the low qualified PDs and 240 min in the high qualified group. PDs with higher height and spending more time on pole-specific training in studio and on other forms of training have higher odds of sustaining an injury. PDs with lower level of experience in training, who sustained an injury, and who had a shorter pause between the moment of injury and the return to performance, and thus who did not fully recover, have higher odds of sustaining a re-injury. Sport-specific injury prevention strategies should be developed and implemented in this cohort, since over 85% of pole dancers reported sustaining some kind of injury.

Resumo: Esse trabalho irá mencionar assuntos bastante relevante, e que faz parte do nosso dia a dia em quando profissional da educação, como também formadores de cidadãos, falar de inclusão não é fácil, e principalmente colocá-la em prática. Mas é de suma importância, pois a educação é um direito de todos, e dever do Estado assegurar esse direito as crianças, jovens e adolescentes. Incluir ou inserir crianças diagnosticadas com Paralisia Cerebral no ambiente educacional é uma tarefa, um pouco complicada, pois requer um olhar diferenciado. Com isso, a escola precisa da ajuda da família nesse processo, como também da contribuição da comunidade em geral, pra trazer essas crianças pra esse ambiente, e assim desperta o conhecimento e as habilidades delas em questão cognitivo, emocional e afetivo, como também, o social. A visão que esse trabalho trará em seus pontos fundamentais e essenciais, na construção do saber e do fazer, uma educação inclusiva e acessiva de todos para todos; cabe os órgãos garantir formações específicas aos profissionais de educação, como os de apoios de sala de aula, sendo que, essas formações têm que abordar temas ligados a realidade do aluno que foram diagnosticados com tal deficiência.Palavras-Chave: Inclusão, Habilidades, Família, Direitos Deficiência Paralisia Cerebral. Abstract: This work will mention very relevant issues, which are part of our daily lives as education professionals, as well as citizen educators, talking about inclusion is not easy, and especially putting it into practice. But it is of paramount importance, as education is a right for all, and the State’s duty to ensure this right for children, young people and adolescents. Including or inserting children diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy in the educational environment is a task, a little complicated, as it requires a different look. With this, the school needs the help of the family in this process, as well as the contribution of the community in general, to bring these children to this environment, and thus awaken their knowledge and skills in cognitive, emotional and affective matters, as well as, the social. The vision that this work will bring in its fundamental and essential points, in the construction of knowledge and action, na inclusive and accessible education from all to all; it is up to the bodies to guarantee specific training for education professionals, such as classroom support, and these trainings have to address issues related to the reality of the student who has been diagnosed with such a disability.Keywords: Inclusion, Skills, Family, Rights Disability Cerebral Palsy.

A great deal of evidence has been gathered on the use of creatine as an ergogenic supplement. Recent studies show greater benefits when creatine ingestion is performed close in time to training, but few studies tackle the way that circadian rhythms could influence creatine consumption. The aim of this study was therefore to observe the influence circadian rhythms exert on sports performance after creatine supplementation. Our method involved randomly assigning fourteen women players of a handball team into two groups in a single-blind study: one that consumed the supplement in the morning and one that consumed it in the evening, with both groups following a specific training program. After twelve weeks, the participants exhibited a decreased fat percentage, increased body weight and body water, and improved performance, with these results being very similar in the two groups. It is therefore concluded that, although circadian rhythms may influence performance, these appear not to affect creatine supplementation, as creatine is stored intramuscularly and is available for those moments of high energy demand, regardless of the time of day.

The object of this quality improvement project is to design, deliver and evaluate a nursing specific training program using spreadsheet software Excel to improve nurse competence and confidence in data navigation.

Abstract During the year 2018, an operator evaluated the career paths and professional development of its technical personnel, extending its evaluation to how the contracting department acquired such training, which wasn't consistent with regard to a training provider, training topics, course agendas or training delivery. Some of the main challenges in providing training are the engineers’ availability to attend classes and the scheduling constraints throughout the operator's five field locations. As an example, planning a class in the current organization might not reach the entire intended audience within the desired time frame because that class may only be scheduled in one of the five locations, and the engineers from the other four locations would need to travel to attend it. The impact of this may be that without the advantage of travelling to attend a specific training, the engineer may not be able to achieve all the promotional requirements for the next step in his/her career path.

The aim of the study was to compare internal and external load responses of different small-sided games, using balanced (5v5 Possession and small-sided games formats) and unbalanced (6v4) teams. Ten elite youth male soccer players were monitored at the start of the in-season period using global positioning system, heart rate and subjective ratings of intensity. Results showed higher physiological stress (>90% HRmax) in Possession and small-sided games formats when compared to the unbalanced teams (ES = 1.3–2.3). Total and high-intensity distance in small-sided games (28 ± 25 m) and Possession (67 ± 35 m) were greater compared to teams of 6 and 4 in the unbalanced scenario. Small-sided games format and team with six players had higher proportion of distance running at sub-maximal velocities (0–5.8 m/s2). Small-sided games format and team with four players saw greater mean acceleration effort (mean acceleration intensity in small-sided games 1.91 ± 0.27 vs. Possession 1.80 ± 0.20 m/s2, ES = 0.4 and Team 4 1.56 ± 0.24 vs. Team 6 1.44 ± .0.19 m/s2, ES = 1.3). Small-sided games format and team with 6 players had lower starting velocities prior to acceleration efforts (small-sided games 0.90 ± 0.08 and Team 6 1.11 ± 0.11 m/s2, ES = 1.5 and ES = 1.8), while velocity at the end of each acceleration effort was greater in the Possession format and Team 4 compared to small-sided games and Team 6 (Possession 3.54 ± 0.23 m/s2 and Team 4 3.13 ± 0.22 m/s2) compared to the small-sided games format (ES = 0.1) and the team with six players (ES = 2.3). These data demonstrate that using unbalanced teams can provide an additional form of training prescription to facilitate player specific training within a squad environment by providing different internal and external training responses within a combined drill.

Electronic health records (EHRs) are integral to community nursing, and mobile access aids seamless, responsive care, prevents repetition and reduces hospital admissions. This saves time and money, enabling smoother workflows and increased productivity. Common practice among community nurses is to return to workbases to access EHRs. This research was conducted to explore what leads to inconsistency in EHR use. Focus groups were held with community nurses, and reflexive thematic analysis of the data was undertaken. Nurses who used EHRs during consultations described the practice as integrative and informed, promoting collaborative care. Those who did not described EHRs as time-consuming, template-laden and a barrier to nurse-patient communication. One barrier to mobile working is the threat to collegiate teamworking and the social and clinical supports it provides. This study suggests specific strategies could increase mobile EHR engagement: role-specific training for effective EHR use; clear organisational directives; innovative team communication; and peer-to-peer coaching.

Abstract Intercultural communicative competence (ICC) is an indispensable skill when interacting with people from other cultures, given the clash of perspectives that intercultural encounters may bring about. Being a skill that can be taught and learned, there is a wide concern for developing ICC through formal education. This involves designing specific training tasks that can enhance the acquisition of ICC with the help of virtual exchange (VE) activities. The aim of the present paper is to highlight a specific way in which the educational goals associated with ICC development can be achieved. To this end, an analysis of 55 eTwinning intercultural projects has been conducted in order to determine the relationship between ICC and VE. The statistical data described here indicate that VE fosters the development of ICC. Moreover, they are indicative of the fact that the VE task types that are most effective in the development of ICC can be identified through computation.

<b><i>Introduction:</i></b> Although endocytoscopy (EC) with narrow-band imaging (NBI) is effective in diagnosing gastric cancer, no diagnostic system has been validated. We explored a specific diagnostic system for gastric cancer using EC with NBI. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Equal numbers of images from cancerous and noncancerous areas (114 images each) were assessed by endoscopists with (development group: 33) and without (validation group: 28) specific training in magnifying endoscopy with NBI. Microvascular and microsurface patterns (MS) in each image were evaluated. Lesions were diagnosed as cancerous when patterns were deemed “irregular.” The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of a diagnosis according to patterns on EC with NBI (microvascular pattern [MV] alone, MS alone, and both) were evaluated and compared between groups to determine the diagnostic performance. <b><i>Results:</i></b> In the development and validation groups, diagnoses based on the MV alone had significantly higher accuracy (91.7% vs. 76.3%, <i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.0001 and 92.5% vs. 67.5%, <i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.0001, respectively) and sensitivity (88.6% vs. 68.3%, <i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.0001 and 89.5% vs. 38.6%, <i>p</i> &#x3c; 0.0001, respectively) than those based on the MS alone. In both groups, there were no significant differences in diagnostic accuracy between using the MV alone and both patterns. <b><i>Discussion/Conclusion:</i></b> Evaluation of the MV alone is a simple and accurate diagnostic method for gastric cancer. This system could find widespread applications in clinical practice.

BACKGROUND: Case detection is an important part of TB control programmes. In 2007, the TB programme in Ghana join the WHO´s public-private partnership with community medicine outlet operators to increase referral of persons with presumptive TB for laboratory investigation. Information on factors likely to influence referral is scarce in Ghana. We assessed these factors among pharmacists and over-the-counter (OTC) medicine sellers.METHODS: In 2019–2020, we conducted computer-assisted telephone interviews among community pharmacists and OTC medicine sellers in the Eastern Region of Ghana. We used a structured questionnaire and collected data on respondents´ sociodemographics and professional characteristics. We used logistic regression to investigate characteristics associated with self-reported referral of presumptive TB cases.RESULTS: Of all respondents who completed the interviews, 68.7% (321/467) reported having ever referred a presumptive TB case and 72.1% (336/466) had received specific training. Associated factors of presumptive TB referral were having received specific training (OR 2.7, 95% CI 1.5–4.9); performing both dispensing and managerial functions (OR 2.8, 95% CI 1.4–5.5); operating from OTC shop (OR 6.2, 95% CI 1.6–23.4) and the availability of a TB laboratory within walking distance (OR 3.3, 95% CI 1.2–9.5).CONCLUSION: Interviewees largely support TB referral. However, a significant proportion does not follow the strategy closely. We recommend more specific TB training courses.
