No specific and effective antiviral treatment has been approved for COVID-19 so far. Systemic corticosteroid and remdesivir have shown to decrease mortality in COVID-19 patients, but mortality still is elevated. We propose that nebulized hypertonic ibuprofen solution which has bactericidal, virucidal, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory properties to be used for COVID-19 pneumonia and prevent the classical evolution to respiratory failure and mechanical respiration. We report here the first two cases of the COVID-19 pneumonia successfully treated with nebulized hypertonic ibuprofen solution (NaIHS). Rationale of the treatment is to mitigate the local inflammation with inhaled NIH that stays in the lung and may inhibit proliferation of the virus, inflammation and successfully reverts the hypoxia observed in these clinical cases. Mild adverse events were observed. Larger and further studies are warranted to confirm the result of these cases. Keywords: hypertonic ibuprofen solution; inhalation; coronavirus disease 2019.

We had introduced so called generators functions to precisely follow the regularity of analytic solutions of Navier-Stokes equations earlier (see Grenier and Nguyen [Ann. PDE 5 (2019)]. In this short note, we give a short presentation of these generator functions and use them to construct analytic solutions to classical evolution equations, which provides an alternative way to the use of the classical abstract Cauchy-Kovalevskaya theorem (see Asano [Proc. Japan Acad. Ser. A Math. Sci. 64 (1988), pp. 102–105], Baouendi and Goulaouic [Comm. Partial Differential Equations 2 (1977), pp. 1151–1162], Caflisch [Bull. Amer. Math. Soc. (N.S.) 23 (1990), pp. 495–500], Nirenberg [J. Differential Geom. 6 (1972), pp. 561–576], Safonov [Comm. Pure Appl. Math. 48 (1995), pp. 629–637]).

We analyze the issue of dynamical evolution and time in quantum cosmology. We emphasize the problem of choice of phase space variables that can play the role of a time parameter in such a way that for expectation values of quantum operators the classical evolution is reproduced. We show that it is neither necessary nor sufficient for the Poisson bracket between the time variable and the super-Hamiltonian to be equal to unity in all of the phase space. We also discuss the question of switching between different internal times as well as the Montevideo interpretation of quantum theory.

ABSTRACT We present the photometric and spectroscopic analysis of three Type II supernovae (SNe): 2014cx, 2014cy, and 2015cz. SN 2014cx is a conventional Type IIP with shallow slope (0.2 mag/50 d) and an atypical short plateau (∼86 d). SNe 2014cy and 2015cz show relatively large decline rates (0.88 and 1.64 mag/50 d, respectively) at early times before settling to the plateau phase, unlike the canonical Type IIP/L SN light curves. All of them are normal luminosity SN II with an absolute magnitude at mid-plateau of M$_{V,14\mathrm{ cx}}^{50}$=$-16.6\, \pm \, 0.4\, \rm {mag}$, M$_{V,14\mathrm{ cy}}^{50}$=$-16.5\, \pm \, 0.2\, \rm {mag}$, and M$_{V,15\mathrm{ cz}}^{50}$=$-17.4\, \pm \, 0.3\, \rm {mag}$. A relatively broad range of 56Ni masses is ejected in these explosions (0.027–0.070 M⊙). The spectra shows the classical evolution of  SNe  II, dominated by a blue continuum with broad H lines at early phases and narrower metal lines with P Cygni profiles during the plateau. High-velocity H  i features are identified in the plateau spectra of SN 2014cx at 11 600  kms −1, possibly a sign of ejecta-circumstellar interaction. The spectra of SN 2014cy exhibit strong absorption profile of H i similar to normal luminosity events whereas strong metal lines akin to sub-luminous SNe. The analytical modelling of the bolometric light curve of the three events yields similar progenitor radii within errors (478, 507, and 660 R ⊙ for SNe 2014cx, 2014cy, and 2015cz, respectively), a range of ejecta masses (15.0, 22.2, and 20.6 M ⊙ for SNe 2014cx, 2014cy, and 2015cz), and a modest range of explosion energies (3.3–7.2 foe where 1 foe=10 51erg).

With this research we have analyzed the importance of matrimonial laws promulgated by emperor Augustus, his idea of romanity, as well as the subsequent post-classical evolution already with Constantine I. In this sense, it has been demonstrated how both the Lex Iulia de maritandis ordinibus and the Lex Papia Poppaea nuptialis formed a single text called Lex Iulia et Papia Poppaea whose purpose was the Restoration of the family on the basis of traditions to develop a policy that favored lawfully contracted unions and procreation. This will lead us to repair illegal roman marriages, that is, those marital unions lacking conubium and, therefore, did not produce legal effects and were considered as a matrimonium iniustum. Finally, we have preferred to differentiate between non-existent iniustum marriages and null or ineffective marriages because they present different assumptions and in the sources there is no clear differentiation.

We study the null boundary problems of some classical evolution equations constrained by some special forms of Lax pairs. Furthermore, we present the constraint and nonlinearization of some supersymmetric (SUSY) equations with a special form of Lax pairs and solve the null boundary problems of these SUSY equations under the corresponding constraints.

This proposed work deals with the real-time implementation of a PI level controller for a nonlinear interacting multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system using YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS 3000 DCS. Some intricate algorithms were chosen to tune the PI controller, presuming the effect of disturbances in a nonlinear interacting MIMO system. Three algorithms; a classical evolution algorithm, genetic algorithm (GA); a metaheuristic optimization algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO); and a robust algorithm, quantitative feedback theory (QFT) were chosen to tune thecontroller offline optimally. These controllers were then implemented in the process using distributed control systems (DCS), and the simulation results resulting from the three algorithms were compared with the experimental results. The impact of the tuning algorithms in the controller performance was studied in real-time.
