The article is focused on the justification of the practicability of involvement of the re-sources from solid waste landfills in the eco-nomic circulation. A large number of landfills located on the territory of Russia have prac-tically exhausted their resources as waste disposal facilities; however, they can be used to obtain secondary energy resources even at the final stage of their life cycle. The optimization model presented by the authors makes it possible to develop an action plan for the phased creation of a biogas collection system based on the zoning of land plots and calculating the return on capital from their use. As an example, the landfill of solid waste "Severnaya Samarka" in the Lenin-grad region is considered.

Hematological leukocyte indexes reflect the relationship between different classes of cells of the leukocyte formula and can provide information about intoxication and the state of the immune response in sick animals. Moreover, calculated leukocyte indexes can become an alternative to complex and expen-sive studies to determine the immunogram, cytokine content, and a number of other bio-chemical parameters. In this paper, we con-sidered the nature of changes in immunologi-cal indicators in piglets under technological stress as a result of weaning and regrouping, and we used calculated leukocyte indexes. To organize the research, we selected clini cally healthy Landrace piglets (n=5) in one of the pig breeding complexes in the Lenin-grad region. The studies were conducted one day before weaning of piglets from sows, age 25 days, and two weeks after weaning at the age of 41 days. Blood was collected us-ing a standard method and examined on a hematological analyzer to determine the morphological composition of white blood cells. The calculation of leukocyte indices was performed using formulas that charac-terize the ratio of the content of various forms of white blood cells, and in some cas-es, the rate of precipitation of red blood cells. The functional changes observed by the piglets 'immune system as a result of regrouping stress confirm the negative im-pact of the technological process on the ani-mals' immunity and provide a prerequisite for studying the ways and mechanisms of increasing their protective forces at this stage of the technological cycle. Analysis of integral leukocyte indexes showed an imbal-ance of specific (adaptive) and non-specific (innate) components of immunity in the dy-namics of changes in immunocompetent blood cells against the background of stress.

In recent years, sheep farms in the Lenin-grad region began to increase import from abroad of sheep breed "Dorper" This breed were bred in the 1930s in the deserts of South Africa. Later this breed began to be exported to Australia, the UK and in small quantities to Russia. Breed "Dorper" very precocious, young quickly gaining live weight up to 500 grams per day. Adult sheep reach a weight up to 90 kg or more. Rams can be used as producers from 5 months. Taking into account that, like all meat breeds of sheep, dorpers are very sensitive to drafts, high humidity, dampness in sheep-fields. The object of research- breeding sheep breed "Dorper". The research was carried out in the farm "SP A. Krylov" Leningrad re-gion. Two groups of 3 heads each were formed to treat the rams. In the scheme of treatment of animals of the first (experimental) group, a finely dispersed soft powder (manganese-acid potassium+copper sulfate+ boric acid + streptocide 1:1:3:5) was used, which was applied on the ulcer with the help of a powder blower. For animals of the second group were applied "Konkov ointment". For the rams of both groups were used a short novocaine blockade with an antibiotic (streptomycin) directly under the pathological focus. Repeated treatments were carried out after 3,6,12 16 days. It should be noted that balanoposthitis in rams appears mainly in autumn and spring. The use of complex powders in rams with ulcerative balanoposthitis showed positive dynamics of the course of this disease, re-duces the healing time of the ulcer surface by 3-4 days, compared to the conventional treatment in the farm with the use of "Konkov ointment

The paper provides the first data on aphyllophoroid fungi of planned protected areas «Lakes Anisimovskiye» (Kemppilä), «Vesenniy» and «Prigranichny» (Paatio) (Vyborg District, Leningrad Region). Among 107 species of fungi recorded for natural monument «Lakes Anisimovskiye» (А), 7 species are protected in the Lenin grad Region. Among 91 species of fungi recorded for natural monument «Vesenniy» (В), Athelia tenuispora and Hyphodermella corrugata are new for the Leningrad Region, and 10 species are protected in the Region. In a planned regional complex sanctuary «Prigranichny» (П) 69 species of aphyllophoroid fungi were found, including Tretomyces microsporus recorded for the first time in Russia, and 6 species protected in the Leningrad Region. New localities of Ganoderma lucidum from Red Data Book of Russian Federation (Krasnaya…, 2008) were found in the planned protected areas «Vesenniy» and «Prigranichny».

New records of macromycetes from the Nizhne-Svirsky Reserve (Leningrad Region) are presented. Data on locality, substrate and plant association are given for each species. The data on macromycetes diversity of Nizhne-Svirsky Reserve were enriched by 96 new records (to date the list has uncluded 591 species). A new form, Skeletocutis odora f. investiens Zmitr. et Malysheva which differs from the type by larger tubes, smaller pores and also unusual growth organization is described. The phylum Ascomycota is presented by 3 species, the most interesting record among them is Hypocreopsis lichenoides. Within Basidiomycota revealed, 17 species belong to the group of agaricoid basidiomycetes, and 76 species — to the group of aphyllophoroid basidiomycetes. Within the species revealed, 6 ones (Antrodia macra, Junghuhnia collabens, Mycoacia fuscoatra, Pycnoporellus fulgens, Rigidoporus crocatus, Sistotrema confluens) are included in the «Red Data Book of Nature of Leningrad Region» (Krasnaya…, 2000) that indirectly testifies a good safety of forest ecosystems in the area preserved. Along with listed rare species, it is necessary to note a new record of Hydnellum gracilipes for the European Russia and also such new findings for Lenin grad Region as Antrodiella fragrans, Ceriporia tarda, Granulobasidium vellereum, Hyphoderma transiens, Leptosporomyces septentrionalis, Postia parva, Piloderma olivaceum, Scytinostromella olivaceoalba, Tretomyces lutescens, Yuchengia narymica. The 15-years monitoring on Lactarius deliciosus shows that in the course of pine forests aging and substitution of their grass cover by green mosses, this species is obviously forced out by L. deterrimus, which sufficiently increases the records number. As a whole, the substrate and community preferences of species revealed are characteristic to boreal zone of the Russian North West.
