Myofibroblastic tumour is extremely rare in the larynx, with just over 40 published cases. Despite being a benign tumour, they are tumours with a marked inflammatory character, local destruction and the possibility of degeneration to malignant histological types and with metastatic capacity. Anatomopathological differential diagnosis is fundamental in this cases.

Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurodegenerative autoimmune disease of the central nervous system with a chronic, progressive and inflammatory character. In addition, it presents itself in a heterogeneous way, and can be as an isolated syndrome or as a recurrent remitter, in the first stage, or as progressive, in the second stage. The present work was developed with the objective of determining which is the best form of diagnosis and therapy for multiple sclerosis in Brazil. Methods: The review was performed in PubMed platform, with the descriptors: “multiple sclerosis”, “diagnosis”, “therapy” and “research”. Results: The research result in 148 articles. After a criterious reading and the application of the used criteria, was selected 20 articles. Conclusion: For the diagnosis of this chronic neurological disease, magnetic resonance imaging is used to assess myelination of the different regions of the central nervous system, which is the most suitable for the diagnosis of MS. Μoreover, as a complement, cerebrospinal fluid extraction and blood tests are performed in order to ascertain the concentration of B cells. Regarding therapeutics, this is diversified, including drugs, diets and therapies that stimulate cognition and motor action, such as the use of virtual reality programs and motor images. In relation to drugs, it is of importance that SUS makes natalizumab and ocrelizumab available because they are more efficient and enable users to have a better quality of life. Finally, nutritional monitoring is also suggested to establish a ketogenic or fasting diet in a balanced way

Objective To identify the demographics, clinical characteristics, disease course, treatment patterns, and disability levels of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients with onset under the age of 10 years (early onset multiple sclerosis, EOMS). Methods EOMS patients were reviewed retrospectively in detailed records from 27 child neurology centers. Patients with preschool (≤7 years) and school age (>7 years) onset were compared. Results There were 30 children (16 girls, 14 boys) who have disease onset between 4 and 10 (mean8.1 ± 1.8) years. MS was relapsing–remitting in 29 (96.7%) and primary progressive in one (3.3%) of the patients. In patients with onset ≤7 years, motor symptoms (54.5%) and encephalopathy (45.5%) predominated, while in those with onset >7 years brainstem (42.1%), sensory (26.3%), and optic nerve (26.3%) involvement were the most frequent presentations. Conclusions MS starting ≤7 years differs from the 7–10–year-old group by the higher rate of motor symptoms and more attacks in the first year: the latter suggests a more inflammatory character for EOMS.

The author has analyzed the lipid profile blood in 30 patients with high activity of rheumatoid arthritis. The main cause of death of patients with rheumatoid arthritis is pathology of the cardiovascular system, an important role in the development of which is atherosclerosis and complications associated with its develop-ment. Currently, similarity of mechanisms of atherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis is proven. There are many studies demonstrating pathogenetic unity of these diseases. Both of these diseases have immuno-inflammatory character that accounts for their close relationship and opens new opportunities therapeutic. A number of studies have shown that the development and course of rheumatoid arthritis is associated with changes in the blood lipid spectrum, characterized by high atherogenicity. In this case, adequate anti-inflammatory therapy leads not only to decrease in the activity of rheumatoid arthritis, but also to reduce the coefficient of atherogenicity. The greatest contribution was made by the elevated levels of total and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, which is associated with a high atherogenicity and increased cardiovascular risk.

The Purpose of the study: define the indications and contraindications to, combined operation in locally invasive tumor of the rectum. The Material and methods of the study: we have analysed results combined operation in cancer of the rectum with germination in genital organs, performed in department of coloproctology in National Oncological Scientific centre during 2005-2009 years.Under observation were 118 women at age from 21 to 68 years.      This before 45 years - 26 patients, from 46 to 59 years - 54 patients, 60 and above years. The Results and their discussion: Postoperative complications suppurative-inflammatory character appeared beside 36 patients (30,5%), most of all after abdomeno - perineal extirpation of rectum (35,5%) and abdominoanal resection of the rectum (33,3%). In lesser extend after front resection of the rectum and after operation Hartman (28,5% and 22,7%).The General lethality has formed 3,4%, have died after combined operation 4 patients from 118 operated patients. The Conclusion: thereby, brought data evident that such important factors, as frequency of the origin relapse (28%), 5-year probability of survival (37,1%), under combined interference and operation of the standard volume in the cancer of the rectum practically the same.

Thevetia peruvianaseeds contain glucosides of neriifolin, acetylneriifolin and thevetin. Seed oil distillates ofThevetia peruvianahave been found to contain anti-bacterial activity. In the persent work, the fresh flowers ofThevetia peruvianawas subjected to phytochemical studies. The results of the study showed that the flowers contain quercetin, kaempferol and quercetin-7-o-galactoside. The structure of the isolated compound was characterized by UV,1H NMR and13C NMR spectra. The anti-inflammatory character of the isolated compound was tested byin vitromethod and the results of the study revealed that the isolated compound showed a biphasic property.

In placental mammals, viviparity—the production of living young within the mother's body—evolved under the auspices of the immune system. Elements of immunity were incorporated, giving pregnancy a mildly inflammatory character. Formation of the placenta, the organ that feeds the fetus, involves a cooperation between maternal natural killer (NK) cells and fetal trophoblast cells that remodels the blood supply. Recent research reveals that this process and human reproductive success are influenced by polymorphic HLA-C ligands and their killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR).
