Abstract The ITER bolometer cable installation template is a first plasma component which main function is to provide a temporary fixation of the mineral insulated cables and to protect them through first plasma operation inside the vacuum vessel until the final bolometer cameras are installed in the second assembly phase. In this paper, the final design of the cable installation template will be presented, the assembly procedures and important functional design details in order to be compliant with its interfaces, the vacuum vessel, the flux loops, the electrical services, the first plasma components and the assembly. Requirements that drive the design will be explained, along with the technical solutions chosen to fulfill them. Important sub-components will be presented in more detail, such as the boss fixation, which will compensate geometrical uncertainties of the as-built boss positioning, as well as the mineral insulated cable holder, which will prepare the electrical termination and facilitate the installation of final vacuum vessel cameras during the second assembly phase of ITER. Additionally, the step-by-step assembly plan agreed with the team of ITER machine assembly and tooling will be described. A custom developed boss welding tool will be described as well. The system load specifications applicable for this first plasma component will be presented as well and an overview of the structural integrity analysis report will be given. It will be shown that most loads on the component are very limited and there is no risk of structural failure or loss of relevant system functions. The paper concludes with a summary of the work and an overview of the procurement and delivery status to ITER.

Abstract Information and communication technology development today has provided the latest innovation in didactic world. One of such innovation is the usage of virtual reality (VR) as learning media. The application of virtual reality in learning environment started to be adopted because VR is considered more capable to explain learning material when compared with other learning material. Moreover, learning with VR has the capability for student to learn independently anytime and anywhere. One of VR utilization in learning environment is to use it in a Mini CNC machine assembly simulator. The learning media is meant to be used to improve student skill in assembling a Mini CNC machine independently. This research uses Research and Development method with waterfall model which has several stages which are communication, planning, modelling, construction, and deployment. However, this research only aims up to construction stage, because this research focuses on media functionality test. The media black box research has shown that the media is capable to function as expected.

Machine assembly with additional degrees of freedom is considered. The method of direct separation of motions was used for research. It was shown that the braking vibration moment occurring by the reason of resonance effects in the driven object can lead to excitation of rotor oscillations of the assembly with a occurrence of slow oscillations of the vibration exciter rotor is demonstrated. frequency lower than the rotation frequency. Slow rotor oscillations represent a transient process to the stationary motion mode, which is established when an additional load torque occurs. Moreover, the maximum oscillation amplitudes will be relatively large. By the example of a vibration machine with an inertial drive, the occurrence of slow oscillations of the vibration exciter rotor is demonstrated.

Modern anatomy, medicine, theories of mind-as-computer and even the history of capitalist industrial and corporate management could not exist without the mechanical models of the human body. From Descartes' view of the body as machine assembly to Dennett's conception of the brain as a computer, our understanding of the human body is permeated with mechanical metaphors. Due to the peaking evidence of the failure to explain the complexity of the human phenomena through mechanical models, it seems reasonable to abandon the metaphors of the body as machine. However, as this metaphor supports the very foundations of large scale economies that profit from stable and predictable human functioning, the body machine metaphor will certainly not disappear without significant struggle.

The improvement of mathematical and methodical support to realize an enlarged unit of design procedures of the analysis of requirements to the assembly of precision products being a part of a complex approach is considered. It is shown that this ensures the efficient fulfillment of assembly operations on the basis of the tie between a technological preparation of processing and assembly production of precision products.

The Assembly line is the assembly process that is carried out based on the order of the production process in the production line. The problem that is often found in assembly lines is bottleneck conditions where some material piled up at the station. This situation indicates an imbalance in the production line. The improvement of the work method is one of the effective ways that can increase line efficiency. This study presents an increase in line efficiency by improving working methods in a washing machine assembly line of PT.X. The study aimed to increase the value of line efficiency by improving work methods. In this study, improvements were made using the line balancing method and Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simplify (ECRS) concept. The results that have been done, the obtained value of line efficiency for washing machine products is 76.76%. This value has not reached the company's productivity target of 99.50%. Therefore it is necessary to improve the assembling line to increase the value of product production. The proposed improvements made with improvements to the work methods on the assembling line obtained 89.38% results is to increase the amount of line efficiency by improving work methods.
