Research by developing an information system is a research that aims to produce and develop an information service system design in the form of website-based rooms lending using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database that will be used at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in-room management as room loan, room loan schedule, room loan data, and room information. This study uses the waterfall development model, with 5 (five) stages of development including the stages of communication, planning, modelling, construction and deployment. This research used Alpha and Beta testing to 3 (three) media experts and 31 (thirty-one) users including 1 (one) admin and 30 (thirty) students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and dissemination of research instruments. With data analysis in the form of a feasibility test using a Likert scale instrument of 4 (four) assessment scores to media experts and respondents. The final product produced is a website for rooms loaning information system, by average score by media experts (Alpha Testing) of 71.6 with the "very feasible" category. The results of the feasibility test by users (Beta Testing) were 34.32 with the "very feasible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based room loan information system is very feasible to use.

Management of Primary School (SD) Exam Participant Registration (DPU) at the Pagar Alam City Education and Culture Office is currently still done manually, namely by recording it in a ledger then the operator manages the data using Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel so it takes a long time to get good results. With the new system that can later create data processing effectively and efficiently, for this success a better system of data processing software is needed as a tool to reduce the error rate in the data search process for Primary School Exam Participant Registration (DPU). (SD). The method used in this research is the waterfall method which has the following sequence of communication, planning, modeling, construction and distribution. Based on the summary above, the authors are interested in raising the Software for Assisting Exam Participant Registration (DPU) in Elementary Schools (SD). At the Department of Education and Culture of the City of Pagar Alam.

Abstract Information and communication technology development today has provided the latest innovation in didactic world. One of such innovation is the usage of virtual reality (VR) as learning media. The application of virtual reality in learning environment started to be adopted because VR is considered more capable to explain learning material when compared with other learning material. Moreover, learning with VR has the capability for student to learn independently anytime and anywhere. One of VR utilization in learning environment is to use it in a Mini CNC machine assembly simulator. The learning media is meant to be used to improve student skill in assembling a Mini CNC machine independently. This research uses Research and Development method with waterfall model which has several stages which are communication, planning, modelling, construction, and deployment. However, this research only aims up to construction stage, because this research focuses on media functionality test. The media black box research has shown that the media is capable to function as expected.

Abstract. If you are a geoscientist doing work to achieve impact outside academia or engaging different audiences with the geosciences, are you planning to make this publishable? If so, then plan. Such investigations into how people (academics, practitioners, other publics) respond to geoscience can use pragmatic, simple research methodologies accessible to the non-specialist or be more complex. To employ a medical analogy, first aid is useful and the best option in some scenarios, but calling a medic (i.e. a collaborator with experience of geoscience communication or relevant research methods) provides the contextual knowledge to identify a condition and opens up a diverse, more powerful range of treatment options. Here, we expand upon the brief advice in the first editorial of Geoscience Communication (Illingworth et al., 2018), illustrating what constitutes robust and publishable work in this context, elucidating its key elements. Our aim is to help geoscience communicators plan a route to publication and to illustrate how good engagement work that is already being done might be developed into publishable research.

The social media Instagram @bpbdkaro as a source of communication and disaster information dissemination in the Karo community is no longer active. The purpose of this study was to find a disaster communication planning model in the communication and information dissemination process from the Karo Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to the community through the Instagram @bpbdkaro social media account. This study uses qualitative evaluation research methods, data collection techniques with Focus Group Discussion and interviews with Instagram managers, the Head of Planning for the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and field observations. Quantitative evaluation method with data collection techniques is carried out online through Google Form to 50 people who use social media randomly. The evaluation results show that Instagram social media is used by the majority of respondents (28%) as the main source of searching for disaster information in Karo, but @bpbdkaro social media is not active because the Karo Regency BPBD does not dare to face negative comments from the community and the unavailability of human resources to manage it. This causes the dissemination process of disaster communication and information through social media Instagram @bpbdkaro not going well to achieve the goal due to the lack of elements of communication planning. The results of the evaluation of researchers with BPBD Karo Regency have carried out communication planning referring to the Cutlip and Center planning theory by covering elements of fact determination, planning, communication, and evaluation. The theoretical new findings in this study provide additional elements of communication competence and resources in the Cutlip and Center Communication Planning Model. The substance of this research contributes in the form of recommendations for communication planning models for the dissemination of disaster communication and information through social media.

In the midst of the rise of communication through digital media and the internet, it is easier to disseminate information, so many companies use the internet as a means of marketing communication. One brand that uses the Internet as a marketing communication medium is Strogen Indonesia. Strogen is a private company that focuses on selling smart home appliances products that are present with the latest technology and have the aim of helping users do their daily homework. In carrying out marketing communications, Strogen Indonesia focuses on sharing attractive visuals of its products as a symbol that can be widely accepted by consumers. Strogen Indonesia shares the visuals of its products through various media such as company websites, Instagram, to Youtube. In addition, Strogen Indonesia also tries to listen to consumers and makes it easier for consumers to communicate by having various social media that actively answer various questions and complaints from customers to achieve the best customer service. Researchers want to focus on the title of the thesis "The Role of Symbolic Interaction in Marketing Communication Planning (Case Study of Indonesian Strogen)". This research uses symbolic interaction communication theory and marketing communication planning. For this research method using a qualitative approach with type one case study method. The research object is Strogen marketing communication planning activity while the research subjects are employees and employees who carry out Strogen Indonesia marketing communication planning activities. The method of data analysis was done through reduction, grouping and drawing conclusions.Di tengah maraknya komunikasi melalui media digital dan internet membuat semakin mudahnya penyebaran informasi maka banyak perusahaan menggunakan media internet ini sebagai suatu sarana komunikasi pemasaran. Salah satu brand yang menggunakan Internet sebagai media komunikasi pemasarannya adalah Strogen Indonesia. Strogen merupakan salah satu perusahaan swasta yang berfokus pada penjualan produk – produk smart home appliances yang hadir mengusung teknologi terbaru dan memiliki tujuan untuk membantu penggunanya dalam melakukan pekerjaan rumah sehari – hari.  Dalam menjalankan komunikasi pemasaran, Strogen Indonesia berfokus membagikan visual yang menarik dari produk – produknya sebagai suatu simbol yang bisa diterima konsumen secara luas. Strogen Indonesia membagikan visual – visual dari produknya melalui berbagai macam media seperti situs perusahaan, Instagram, hingga Youtube. Selain itu Strogen Indonesia juga berusaha mendengarkan konsumen serta memudahkan konsumennya untuk berkomunikasi dengan memiliki berbagai media sosial yang aktif menjawab berbagai pertanyaan dan keluhan dari pelanggan untuk mencapai pelayanan pelanggan yang terbaik. peneliti ingin befokus pada judul skripsi “Peran Interaksi Simbolik Dalam Perencanaan Komunikasi Pemasaran (Studi Kasus Strogen Indonesia)”. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi interaksi simbolik dan perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran. Untuk metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus tipe satu. Untuk Objek penelitian adalah kegiatan perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran Strogen sementara untuk subjek penelitian adalah karyawan dan karyawati yang melakukan kegiatan perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran Strogen Indonesia. Metode analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, pengelompokkan dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Bimbel Timothy's is a non-formal tutoring institution that was formed to assist customers to understanding the learning materials provided by formal educational institutions. Communication strategy is a combination of communication planning with communication management to achieve predetermined goals. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection methods using interview techniques, documentation studies, and literature studies. The result of this research is Bimbel Timothy's using communication strategy which is planning, implementation and evaluation of the communication strategy that implemented by Bimbel Timothy's during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to maintain customer loyalty. Of the entire series of communication strategies which is planning, implementation and evaluation that implemented, the role  word of mouth is a technique used so that customers continue to trust business institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.Bimbel Timothy's merupakan salah satu lembaga bimbingan belajar non-formal yang dibentuk guna membantu pelanggan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh lembaga pendidikan formal. Strategi komunikasi merupakan paduan perencanaan komunikasi dengan manajemen komunikasi untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yang menggunakan teknik wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Bimbel Timothy's melakukan strategi komunikasi yang terdiri atas proses perencanaan, pengimplementasian serta evaluasi dari strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh Bimbel Timothy's pada masa pandemi COVID-19 agar tetap dapat mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggannya. Dari seluruh rangkaian strategi komunikasi antara lain perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi yang diterapkan, peran word of mouth merupakan teknik yang digunakan agar pelanggan tetap percaya terhadap lembaga usaha pada masa pandemi COVID-19.

In marketing activities, marketing communication planning plays a role and is applied as a sales and promotion solution for a product to the public which uses several effective and interactive ways and the content of its service products can be felt by all target audiences. Hann Prawira Photography is a service provider company in the form of photography, the service company does photo shoots for Indonesian or foreign artists, not only shooting artists but also working on photo shoots for commercial needs, such as shooting for billboards, websites and others. This communication research focuses on symbolic interactions and has a very important role, in which Hann Prawira Photography uses this symbolic interaction by presenting his work through photography and also the importance of relationships with consumers. This study uses a qualitative methodology with a strategy and case studies. The data were collected using in-depth interviews directly to the founder of Hann Prawira Photography and his team. The conclusion of this research is that it has 8 marketing communication plans, namely, business objectives, target market, competitors, communication themes, tactical, implementation, monitoring, communication channels and evaluation. At all these stages there are symbolic interactions such as organizational goals, to the company's vision and mission.Di dalam kegiatan pemasaran, perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran berperan dan diterapkan sebagai solusi penjualan dan promosi untuk suatu produk kepada masyarakat yang dimana menggunakan beberapa cara yang efektif dan interaktif juga isi produk pelayanannya dapat dirasakan oleh semua target audience. Hann Prawira Fotografi merupakan suatu perusahaan penyedia jasa dalam bentuk fotografi, perusahaan jasa tersebut mengerjakan pemotretan artis indonesia ataupun luar negeri, tidak hanya pemotretan artis tetapi juga mengerjakan pemotretan untuk kebutuhan komersial, seperti pemotretan untuk billboard, website dan lainnya. Penelitian komunikasi ini berfokus pada interaksi simbolik dan mempunyai peran yang sangat penting, yang di mana Hann Prawira Fotografi sangat menggunakan interaksi simbolik ini dengan mempersembahkan karyanya lewat fotografi dan juga pentingnya hubungan dengan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan strategi dan studi kasus. Data-data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara mendalam langsung kepada pendiri Hann Prawira Fotografi dan tim. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yakni memiliki 8 perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran yaitu, Tujuan bisnis, Target Market, Kompetitor, Tema Komunikasi, Taktis, Implementasi, Monitoring, saluran komunikasi dan Evaluasi. Pada semua tahapan tersebut terdapat interaksi simbolik seperti, tujuan organisasi, sampai visi dan misi perusahaan.
