Abstract Objective The pharmacokinetic properties of encapsulated polyherbal nanoparticles (Gallic acid and quercetin nanoparticle) and polyherbal extract (Amla and pomegranate fruit peels) in normal and DMH-induced colorectal cancer in rats was examined in this work. Method Polyherbal nanoparticles such as Gallic acid isolated from amla fruit and quercetin from pomegranate peel extract formulated into polymeric nanoparticle by using probe sonicator and high pressure homogenization. Result In normal and DMH-induced rats, a pharmacokinetic study demonstrated that polyherbal nanoparticles had a typical sustained release profile with a 2-fold increase in bioavailability when compared to polyherbal extract. Based on serum–concentration profiles of polyherbal nanoparticles and polyherbal extract following oral administration, the pharmacokinetic parameters for polyherbal nanoparticles and polyherbal extract were established using a single compartmental approach. Conclusion This research suggests that encapsulating gallic acid and quercetin in polymeric nanoparticles improves oral bioavailability than polyherbal extract of amla and pomegranate peel. Polymeric nanoparticles could be a novel therapeutic possibility for carcinogenesis prevention.

The development of AI systems represents a significant investment. But to realize the promise of that investment, performance assessment is necessary. Empirical evaluation of Human-AI work systems must adduce convincing empirical evidence that the work method and its AI technology are learnable, usable, and useful. The theme to this Report is the notion that AI assessment must be effective but must also be efficient. Bench testing of a prototype of an AI system cannot require extensive series of experiments with complex designs. Thus, the empirical requirements that are presented in this Report involve escaping some of the constraints that are imposed in traditional laboratory research. Also, there is a recognition of new constraints that are unique to AI evaluation contexts. Empirical requirements are presented covering study design, research methods, statistical analyses, and online experimentation. The 15 requirements presented in this Report should be applicable to all research intended to evaluate the effectivity of AI systems.

This paper aims to determine the creativity of Agus Tasman Ranaatmadja, a dance master, in formulating a dance work by analyzing his artistic creations textually. The study was conducted qualitatively by borrowing Sumandiyo Hadi's idea on textual analysis of dance. The results of the study show that the dance "Bedhaya Si Kaduk Manis" has an asymmetrical gawang development and a dancer's level pattern play. “Tari Bedhaya Si Kaduk Manis” is constructed using the creator's version of the work method and is presented with a single cone serving plot. The final entity "Bedhaya Si Kaduk Manis Dance" has a significant difference from the bedhaya dance in general, but still has the taste and principle of bedhaya dance.

This paper proposes a method to evaluate the effect of shear on the deflection of reinforced concrete (RC) beams. The deflection of RC beams due to the effects of flexural and shear cracks shows different results from those obtained from the elastic theory. The effect of shear on deflection was compared and analyzed in this study, on the basis of experimental results and elastic theory using the virtual work method. The shear effect on the deflection of RC beams by elastic theory was extremely small. However, experimental results showed a difference of over 40% from the results predicted by elasticity theory. In this study, a new method was developed to reasonably predict the deflection of flexure-critical RC beams using the deflection incremental coefficient due to shear. The proposed method was compared with the existing experimental results obtained from the literature for verification. As a result of the comparison, the deflection obtained using ACI 318-19 underestimated the actual deflection by approximately 33%, whereas the deflection obtained by the proposed method predicted the experimental results relatively accurately.

Abstract: A noble operational framework – 2K5S, a modified form of Toyota production system (TPS) incorporating Kaizen, Kaikaku and 5S is introduced in this paper. Kaizen is continuous improvement concept implementing a small step at a time to produce a small or moderate improvement in productivity. Kaikaku is a moderate innovative approach implementing new work method or means to produce a drastic improvement in productivity by eliminating wastes at the same time. The 2K5S is then implemented in the operations of a pineapple farm and a series of case studies are conducted. The outcomes of the case studies have revealed that through the introduction and implementation of the 2K5S operational framework, some significant organisational improvements have been witnessed. Apart from significantly increment in productivity, other advantages achieved including increasing in effectiveness and efficiency in the operational processes, improved visual management of the process, improved operational health and safety and morale of the workers, improved housekeeping, waste elimination and process standardization. The outcomes of this study have demonstrated that 2K5S is a powerful and practical operational framework model which is applicable for agricultural organisation. Keywords: Toyota production system (TPS), 2K5S, Kaizen, Kaikaku, 5S, continuous improvement, agricultural sector.

The most important thing in the construction of toll roads, especially elevated toll roads, is the erection girder. The implementation of this erection girder certainly requires a long time and a large cost, so it requires the right work method in its implementation. The construction of the X Section A Toll Road Project is the construction of an elevated toll road where its implementation is limited by time and cost so that it requires the right work method to achieve timely and cost-efficient project completion. The girder used in this project is a box girder with the implementation method using the crane and launcher method. This study aims to analyze the time and cost of comparing the implementation method of erection box girder using cranes and launchers to obtain a more efficient and effective implementation method. This research was conducted through field observations to observe the erection box girder time and collect secondary data regarding the method of implementing erection box girder. The analysis carried out in this study includes time calculation analysis by calculating the average time value of the erection box girder implementation using statistical formulas and cost analysis carried out by referring to the PUPR Ministerial Regulation Number 28/PRT/M/2016 concerning Analysis of Unit Prices for Public Work. Based on the outcomes of the calculation of time and cost analysis, the duration of the erection box girder with the crane method is 70.65 minutes and requires a cost of Rp 23,769,579 and the launcher method takes 48.12 minutes and costs Rp 11,834,500. Thus, it can be seen that the more efficient and effective erection box girder method is the launcher method with a cost difference of Rp 11935,079 and 32% efficiency. when compared to the crane method.
