In this study, a model software of a computer program related to determining dimensional behavior, which will contribute to the multi-layered units used on the facade of industrial buildings to be standardized, has been prepared. By means of this model software, the factors determining the width (A), the height (h) and the section (d) of the units of a building facade, could be evaluated. These factors, at the same time, from the dimensions of building facade units providing “thermal insulation, sound insulation statically behavior and coordination dimension of facade unit.” In the program (named as MT2 Prefabrike), these four factors could be evaluated by providing the optimization in sequence and within themselves. Thus, by developing a new method of approach in the standardizing of facade units, apart from the visible characteristics of the units, the idea of standardizing the performance and behavior expected from the units, are put forward. In the model program formed with this idea, before producing of the facade units, the optimization is to be provided by analyzing the factors which are effective in giving dimension to the units, in abstract condition (computerized). Keywords: a model software, building facade unit, prefabrication, thermal and sound ınsulation, static behavior analysis, the facades of ındustrial buildings

AbstractA mismatch exists between people’s mental representations of their own body and their real body measurements, which may impact general well-being and health. We investigated whether this mismatch is reduced when contextualizing body size estimation in a real-life scenario. Using a reverse correlation paradigm, we constructed unbiased, data-driven visual depictions of participants’ implicit body representations. Across three conditions—own abstract, ideal, and own concrete body—participants selected the body that looked most like their own, like the body they would like to have, or like the body they would use for online shopping. In the own concrete condition only, we found a significant correlation between perceived and real hip width, suggesting that the perceived/real body match only exists when body size estimation takes place in a practical context, although the negative correlation indicated inaccurate estimation. Further, participants who underestimated their body size or who had more negative attitudes towards their body weight showed a positive correlation between perceived and real body size in the own abstract condition. Finally, our results indicated that different body areas were implicated in the different conditions. These findings suggest that implicit body representations depend on situational and individual differences, which has clinical and practical implications.

Palavras-chave: Projovem; Juventude; Produção acadêmica.ABSTRACT: The article analyzes the dimensions of a project developed in Brazil in 2000 to serve poor young people who are excluded from school, those who, due to a list of factors, could not finish elementary school, that is, the nine years of schooling that cover this level. education. Here we address some aspects of the National Youth Inclusion Program - ProJovem. The analysis focused on the following questions: What did this program consist of? What is the impact of Projovem on Brazilian academic production? What are the limits and advances of this program to overcome the problems faced by young people with low education? Our goal is to reflect on the role of a public policy with historical importance aimed at serving a significant portion of the Brazilian population, and in this context, how academic research can contribute to the understanding of youth challenges, which still live an abstract condition. Citizenship, to be effectively constituted, as advocated by legislation, protagonists, subject of rights. Keywords: Projovem; Youth; Academic production.

The promoters of welfare-to-work programmes sometimes state that these are based on the will to ‘better realise’ the right to work of their recipients. This chapter questions this assumption and examines whether and under which conditions, those programmes could eventually find their foundation on the fundamental right to work proclaimed in international human rights texts. It demonstrates from an analysis of the international pacts, their preparatory texts and the case law that welfare-to-work measures can only be considered as aimed at realising the right to work if they are likely to improve the chances of their recipients to later find a freely chosen, paid and productive job in the labour market. It shows that this open and abstract condition excludes a large part of welfare-to-work measures from a human rights-based justification for the type of work they value or the way they are implemented.

Purpose There is conflicting evidence regarding if and how a deficit in executive function may be associated with developmental language impairment (LI). Nonlinguistic stimuli are now frequently used when testing executive function to avoid a language confound. However, it is possible that increased stimulus processing demands for nonlinguistic stimuli may also compound the complexity of the relationship between executive function and LI. The current study examined whether variability across nonlinguistic auditory stimuli might differentially affect inhibition and whether performance differs between children with and without language difficulties. Method Sixty children, aged 8–14 years, took part in the study: 20 typically developing children, 20 children with autism spectrum disorder, and 20 children with specific LI. For the purposes of assessing the role of language, children were further categorized based on language ability: 33 children with normal-language (NL) ability and 27 children with LI. Children completed a go/no-go task with 2 conditions comparing nonlinguistic auditory stimuli: 2 abstract sounds and 2 familiar sounds (duck quack and dog bark). Results There was no significant difference for diagnostic category. However, there was a significant interaction between language ability and condition. There was no significant difference in the NL group performance in the abstract and familiar sound conditions. In contrast, the group with LI made significantly more errors in the abstract condition compared with the familiar condition. There was no significant difference in inhibition between the NL group and the group with LI in the familiar condition; however, the group with LI made significantly more errors than the NL group in the abstract condition. Conclusions Caution is needed in stimuli selection when examining executive function skills because, although stimuli may be selected on the basis of being “nonlinguistic and auditory,” the type of stimuli chosen can differentially affect performance. The findings have implications for the interpretation of deficits in executive function as well as the selection of stimuli in future studies.

The poetry of John Ruskin – which amounts to a surprisingly large body of work, mostly written in the 1830s and 1840s – reveals the stirrings of the moral perceptual attitude that would emerge with such distinctive force in Modern Painters, yet one guided by the influences of Keats, Shelley and Byron as much as the natural theology of Wordsworth (despite Modern Painters taking its epigraph from The Excursion). Although in some respects a poetry of post-Romantic transition, Ruskin's work also demonstrates a consistent interest in light – in ways that affirm its imaginative commerce with second-generation Romanticism – while exploring light's physical properties and dynamic environmental effects. Focusing in particular on his prize-winning poem ‘Salsette and Elephanta’ (1839), I suggest that Ruskin's poems establish possibilities that reach beyond merely received metaphorical meanings (light as redemptive telos and/or abstract condition of the visible) and instead look forward to the overdetermined stylisations typical of his mature prose works.

Abstract, Condition of Indonesia is now being hit by a climate of character which does not support the output of Pancasila culture . The waning of characters can be seen from the number of people taking drugs, fighting between the village and the school , consumerist lifestyle , which is concerned with the practice of religious life and the juridical formalism symbols that make it easy to competed. The crisis of character now has spread on campus so easily found student attitudes and behaviors that conflict with moral values .As a man who respects the harmony and compatibility of national identity as it is appropriate if the values of Pancasila moral values to serve as a foundation to live a life of society , nation and state . Ethical principles of Pancasila intrinsically humanistic , meaning that the values of Pancasila based on values rooted in the dignity of man as a being cultured . Pancasila as the state ideology of the nation and contain values of divinity , human values, the value of unity , democratic values and the values of justice . If people are able to realize and really be able to run five moral rules or values contained in the fifth Pancasila , then humans can save the nation from various conflicts . Building character through the values of Pancasila can unite the entire diversity of Indonesia .Keywords : Character , values of Pancasila , and Conflict ResolutionAbstrak, Kondisi bangsa Indonesia sekarang sedang dilanda oleh sebuah iklim karakter kehidupan yang tidak mendukung tumbunya budaya Pancasila.
