The data on the preparation of composite materials containing polyethylene and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) of the Taunit brand are presented. To obtain these composites by in situ polymerization, a catalytic system formed by the interaction of an organomagnesium compound and TiCl4 on the surface of nanotubes was used. The catalyst fixed on the MWCNT surface has a high activity in ethylene polymerization and allows to obtain a polymer with different molecular weight. The data on the formation of a polymer on the MWCNT surface and the morphology of composites formed on various Taunit samples are presented.

Nanocomposite materials based on a cold-cure silicone mixture containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes were obtained. The concentration dependences of the radio-physical properties of materials were investigated. An increase in the efficiency of shielding electromagnetic radiation in the radio frequency range of wavelengths with increasing concentrations of multi-walled carbon nanotubes up to 10 wt. % was verified.

The comparative adsorption capacity of graphene aerogel and activated coconut carbon in the process of removing the main cationic synthetic dye, methylene blue (MB), from aqueous solutions with an initial concentration of 150 mg/l was investigated. The characteristics of the new material have been determined using scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetry, and Raman spectroscopy. The values of the adsorption capacity of graphene aerogel – 420 mg/g and activated carbon – 205 mg/g were established. The saturation time in the presence of graphene aerogel was 7 min. The experimental data were processed using kinetic models – pseudo-first and pseudo-second order, Elovich and intraparticle diffusion. According to the results obtained, graphene aerogel is a promising sorption material in the extraction of molecular organic pollutants, namely, synthetic dyes, demonstrating a high efficiency of the target pollutant removal.

The investigation results of granular temperature during rapid gravity flow of granular medium on a rough chute are discussed. The granular temperature is determined as the kinetic energy of several forms of mutual displacements of particles. The influence of the chute angle on the value ratio of different components of granular temperature is analyzed. The components of granular temperature induced by fluctuation, shear and transversal mutual displacements of particles were taken into account.

In Part 2 of the paper, based on the results and assumptions pointed in Part 1, analytical expressions were derived for Schottky barrier thermal/field assisted and Poole-Frenkel emission currents. The computer modeling theoretical dependencies of the I–V characteristics has been compared with the experimental measured results and obtained good agreements.
