ABSTRACT This study was conducted based on previous research, to test of giving instant noodle boiled water to pregnant female mice and the results showed that there were fetal abnormalities but the statistical analysis of these abnormalities was not significant. This study was conducted to determine the histology of the liver of pregnant female mice after giving instant noodle boiled water. The stages of this research are as follows: preparation of pregnant female mice that have been treated with instant noodle boiled water from 3 different brands, namely P1, P2, and P3. Each treatment consisted of giving boiled water with different concentrations of 30 %, 50%, and 70% for 14 days, then the mice were sacrificed and then the liver was taken, histology preparations were made, then the histological structure was observed. The method of making histology preparations followed the HE (Haematoxyllin-Eosine) staining procedure. The results showed that there were changes in the structure of the liver hepatocyte cells in the treatment, namely midzonal degeneration and necrosis. This shows that there is an effect of giving instant noodle boiled water treatment on the composition of liver cells. The study used a limited number of organ samples, so it is necessary to do research with more samples and statistical analysis is needed to determine the degree of cell damage

Introduction. Cytochrome C in mitochondria transfers electrons from complex III to complex IV, and it is a signaling molecule in the apoptosis realization. The objective was to evaluate the level of cytochrome C in cell mitochondria in various organs of female mice with standard and stimulated growth of experimental B16/F10 melanoma. Methods and materials. The experiment was performed on female C57BL/6 mice (n=168). The groups were: intact animals (n=21); controls with a model of chronic neurogenic pain (CNP) (n = 21); group M — standard B16/F10 melanoma transplantation (n=63), group CNP + M — B16/F10 melanoma transplantation 3 weeks after CNP model creation (n=63). The level of cytochrome C (ng / mg protein) were measured by ELISA (Bioscience, Austria). Statistical analysis of results was performed using the «Statistica 10.0» program.Results. After 1 week of standard melanoma growth, an increase in the level of cytochrome C by 2.7 and 1.7 times was detected in mitochondria of the brain and liver; by the 3rd week, it decreased in the liver and skin by 1.7 times. In melanoma mitochondria, the level of cytochrome C was lower than in the skin of intact animals: by 2.5 times after week 1, by 4.5 times after week 2, and by 4.6 times after week 3. After 1 week of stimulated melanoma growth, the level of cytochrome C decreased compared control values: by 2.2 times in the brain, by 1.9 times in the liver, by 1.4 times in the skin; by week 3, it decreased by 4.8 times in mitochondria of the brain, by 4.7 times — in the liver, by 2.3 times — in the heart, by 1.9 times — in the skin. In melanoma mitochondria, the level of cytochrome C was lower than in the skin of intact animals: by 15.3 times after week 1, by 10.3 times after week 2, and by 8.8 times after week 3.Conclusion. Low level of cytochrome C were found in melanoma mitochondria in standard and stimulated tumor growth. The data can be used in the experiment and in clinic for using exogenous cytochrome C as an agent slowing down the malignant process.

Carbamazepine (CBZ) is one of many anticonvulsants used to treat trigeminal neuralgia and epilepsy. Antiepileptic drugs (AED`s) are the second most important class of medications that lead to hepatotoxicity and induced liver injury, this study was conducted to evaluate the effects of CBZ on the liver. A total of 40 female mice were taken and divided into four groups (A/treated for 14 days, B/ control, C/ treated for 30 days, D/ control), the drug was given as an oral suspension formula 100mg/5ml at dose 20 mg/kg/mouse via gastric gavage daily for 14 and 30 days. Statistical analysis revealed that there were no significant differences in the white female mice body weight (P>0.05) in the treated group for 14 days as well as the treated group for 30 days, but there were significant differences between the treated groups studied. Statistical analyses result of liver weight, hepatocytes diameter, central vein and portal vein diameters showed significant differences in the treated group for 14 days (P<0.05) as well as the treated group for 30 days, and there were significant differences between all treated groups studied. The study concluded that carbamazepine (CBZ) can had no effect on body weight but it can induce several hepatic changes if it used on a short or long terms, therefore, it was advised to take cautions when describing this drug.

Tabat barito (Ficus deltoidea Jack.) is vastly used to induce sexual aroused (aphrodisiacs) and effect on female reproductive organ. The aim of this research was performed to examine the effects of bark tabat barito infuse on reproductive capacities female mice. Fifteen of female mice were devided randomly into 5 groups, respectively. The treatment dosages were control, placebo, 50%, 75% and 100%. Infuse and aquades administrated orally 0.5 ml/hari for 5 estrouse cycles. Female mice were mated (1:3). At the eighteen days of gestation, female mice were sacrificed and observed, covered the weight of mice, uterus, liver; the total number of fetus, their weight and length body. The statistical analysis was performed using ANOVA and DMRT test. The result of this study indicated that infuse of bark tabat barito (Ficus deltoidea Jack) increasing the reproductive capacities but no significant. The weight of mice, uterus, liver between control and treatment no different (P> 0.05) but for total number of fetus in control 8.00 + 1.00, whereas dosages 50%, 75% and 100% were 8.67 + 0.58, 11.67 + 1.16 and 10.00 + 1.00, respectively. In total number of fetus different in 70% dosage to others, and total number of fetus in 100% dosage are significant different with control and 70% dosage.Key words: Tabat barito, aphrodisiacs, progesterone, reproductive capacities.

If we make a set of measurements, such as narrow-band or multicolour photo-electric measurements, which are designed to improve a scheme of classification, and in particular if they are designed to extend the number of dimensions of classification, i.e. the number of classification parameters, then some important problems of analytical procedure arise. First, it is important not to reproduce the errors of the classification scheme which we are trying to improve. Second, when trying to extend the number of dimensions of classification we have little or nothing with which to test the validity of the new parameters.Problems similar to these have occurred in other areas of scientific research (notably psychology and education) and the branch of Statistics called Multivariate Analysis has been developed to deal with them. The techniques of this subject are largely unknown to astronomers, but, if carefully applied, they should at the very least ensure that the astronomer gets the maximum amount of information out of his data and does not waste his time looking for information which is not there. More optimistically, these techniques are potentially capable of indicating the number of classification parameters necessary and giving specific formulas for computing them, as well as pinpointing those particular measurements which are most crucial for determining the classification parameters.

As interest for parallel EELS spectrum imaging grows in laboratories equipped with commercial spectrometers, different approaches were used in recent years by a few research groups in the development of the technique of spectrum imaging as reported in the literature. Either by controlling, with a personal computer both the microsope and the spectrometer or using more powerful workstations interfaced to conventional multichannel analysers with commercially available programs to control the microscope and the spectrometer, spectrum images can now be obtained. Work on the limits of the technique, in terms of the quantitative performance was reported, however, by the present author where a systematic study of artifacts detection limits, statistical errors as a function of desired spatial resolution and range of chemical elements to be studied in a map was carried out The aim of the present paper is to show an application of quantitative parallel EELS spectrum imaging where statistical analysis is performed at each pixel and interpretation is carried out using criteria established from the statistical analysis and variations in composition are analyzed with the help of information retreived from t/γ maps so that artifacts are avoided.
