The aim of this paper is to examine the use of digital technologies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education (STEM). We will discuss the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process in terms of the elements that could possibly promote learning with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in STEM education. This will be done, first, by taking a learner-centred approach to an activity that students carried out using ICT to performing a task set by the teacher (cognitive engagement in the task, motivation, nature of knowledge built). The aim was to understand how ICT could be a cognitive aid for the student. Second, a teacher-centred perspective to the development of prescribed tasks (form, knowledge carried by the task) was used to identify how ICT can be adapted to aid student learning in STEM education.

In this work, we investigate the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching of mathematics at Moroccan high school. We first start with the analysis of school books from the three years of Baccalaureate. Furthermore, we analyze the pedagogical orientations concerning the use of these technologies. The results obtained from this study show that the use of ICT in mathematics education at Moroccan high school is still too limited.

The article discusses modern trends in the informatization of mathematical education in different countries. Two important phenomena of the 21st century that determine the development of various spheres of life, including education, are noted, that is Big Data and informatization based on the development of information and communication technologies. It is shown what impact Big Data has on changing methods of scientific research and how the introduction of information technologies in the learning process changes the theory and methodology of teaching mathematics. Examples of practical experience of Poland and other countries in the field of informatization of mathematical education are presented, a critical analysis of this experience is carried out, and conclusions are drawn about the need to improve the informatization of mathematical education of schoolchildren and students.

This article is discussed as usual approaches to mathematical education technologies and mathematical learning concepts. A history of how mathematics software has contributed to the development of research in the field of mathematics education psychology has been discussed, as technologies have advanced to the conceptions of resource development that could be accessed through the Internet. INTRODUCTION. One of the main objectives of Mathematics education is to motivate students since their interest in Mathematics is very low in many cases and, in others, even null. The use of different technologies has grown a lot in the last decades and several authors in the area have demonstrated their effectiveness in the classroom. In addition, the use of different Information and Communication Technologies, which students can use in their own homes, is also growing. METHOD. In this study, the use of the EdPuzzle application is presented, under the paradigm of the Flip Learning methodology in the third year of the Secondary Education Level for learning polynomial factorization in a school in Spain in two different courses, taught by the same teacher. To carry out the experience, the average grades of two exams have been taken, the first one related to polynomials and the basic concepts, used as a pretest since it has the main basic concepts that the student must know before continuing, and another related to the polynomial factorization, used as a posttest, and the scores obtained by the group that used EdPuzzle were comparedwith those that did not use it. RESULTS. Comparison of both groups shows that the scores are significantly higher in the group that used EdPuzzle in the posttest. DISCUSSION. The Cohen’s d effect size obtained was almost medium, and the questionnaire answers were positive, aspects that make EdPuzzle a tool to be considered in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics.

Abstract   The objective of this research is to find out the use of Whatsapp Messenger as a mobile media to learn writing in EFL classes.Several researchers have attempted to prove applicability of mobile learning as modern ways of teaching and learning (Naismith, 2004:115). Moreover, applying portable technologies have been demanded by most of the modern learners who oftentimes are forced to study anywhere, and anytime, for example, at work, in the bus or at weekends (Evans, 2008:115).The research was motivated by the students’ difficulties in writing. The sample of this research was three classes of first grade students of English Department of Unswagati. The instrument of this research was questionnaire sheet. Data from questionnaire sheet was analyzed based on the frequency students’ answers and then was calculated and interpreted into percentages. The result shows WhatsApp Messenger attracts the students interest and also the students have positive responses towards the using ofWhatsAppMessenger. In applying WhatsApp group, the writer concluded that, learning using WhatsApp group has effective to develop their creativity in writing skill. On the other hand, the result from the questionnaire sheet indicated that almost of students is active in learning to writing recount text. Students can learn out of the classroom. Beside WhatsApp can be used privately, it can be used for students’ education. The students can use their gadget positively for their ability in learning English. The students can improve their knowledge in learning ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies). Keyword: WhatsApp Messenger,EFL writing, Instructional Media, ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies).

When modern technology permeates every corner of life, there are ignited more and more hopes among the disabled to be compensated for the loss of mobility and participation in normal life, and with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Exoskeleton Technologies and truly hands free technologies (HMI), it's possible for the disabled to be included in the social and pedagogic spheres, especially via computers and smartphones with social media apps and digital instruments for Augmented Reality (AR) .In this paper a nouvel HMI technology is presented with relevance for the inclusion of disabled in every day life with specific focus on the future development of "smart cities" and "smart homes".
