In current time, it is evident the necessity of animal welfare education policies. Animal welfare is defined as the state of an individual attempting to adjust to the environment and education material can encourage dialogue inside schools. We aimed to verify the presence or absence of animal welfare related content in school books and survey the perceptions of the students about the subject, associating with the socioeconomic profile of the school district and with the overall school performance in the SARESP test.  This study was performed between July and November, with seven of the twenty-two public schools in the city of Araçatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. Seven books were collected for analysis from each school, totalizing 49 books, and 430 students answered a survey with 10 questions. The statistical analysis did not show relevant difference between biological gender, age, grade and socioeconomic profile and animal welfare knowledge perception. This study concluded that in most of the analyzed books, animal welfare topics are absent, and that there is no difference between the schools’ socioeconomic profile and animal welfare knowledge perception of the students.

Alexander the Great (356 B.C – 323 B.C) has gone down in history as one of the greatest conquerors of Antiquity. By the time he was 30, he had conquered most of the known world. The territory under his control lay from Greece in the west, southward through Egypt and eastward to India. His military successes made him an inspiration to many writers of his time and later. Since his life span corresponds to the era that today we call Hellenism, he is mentioned in all the educational systems of Europe. From their first appearance on this continent, school books have alluded to Alexander and his conquests. The first history textbooks in the Serbian language emerged in Serbia in the mid-19th century and they, too, included Alexander the Great. In this paper, we shall show how the history of Alexander was taught at the time and how his feats influenced generations of Serbian children educated at the first schools founded in the areas of the Habsburg Empire that they inhabited.

Risk management is a management effort to control the company's risk operations by conducting risk analysis, risk evaluation and mitigation plan. Risk management efforts are feasible to be applied to the company's business activities including procurement activities. PT XYZ is one of the printing companies whose main demand is the printing of Elementary School Books. There is a decrease in demand that results in disruption to the company's cash flow so that a tight money policy is applied to every company's activity including procurement activities. This policy increases the risk that may occur, so risk management efforts are needed to minimize the impact that can occur. The House of Risk method is used to identify risk events and risk agents that cause them, and design mitigation measures to address those risk agents. The results showed that there were 10 risk events and 10 identified risk agents, with priority risk agents to be handled are A1 (volume and type of raw materials are incorrect) and A3 (communication interruption). There are 5 recommended mitigation measures.

The study aimed to identify the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence (IA) concepts and applications in the content of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) textbooks in Saudi general education. The study adopted the descriptive approach using the method of content analysis. To achieve the purpose of the study, a content analysis tool was developed, and the ICT textbooks were analyzed. The study results indicated that the concepts and applications of AI were available in the content of the intermediate school books in varying overall proportions: (3.46%) in 7th grade, (6.7%) in 8th grade, and (10%) in 9th grade. Additionally, the AI concepts and applications were available in secondary ICT textbooks content: (15%) in 11th grade and (18%) in both 10th-12th grades. The study recommended reconsidering the inclusion of IA concepts and its applications in the ICT textbooks content for the intermediate and secondary educational levels and increasing the inclusion of the AI concepts and applications with transforming from teaching ICT alone in the curricula to focusing more on computing beside the ICT.

Pre-school books are one of the indispensable materials of education life, even though technology has been developed, preschool books are still among the fundamental building blocks of education and it can be said that it will continue in the future. Preschool teachers' evaluation of 4-6 year old preschool books for Visual Design principles was aimed by pre-school teacher candidates. In the study, "Graphic / Visual Design Principles Scale for Textbooks" Alpan (2004), which is a visual design scale, was used. The scoring of the scale was calculated as 2 points for the "Yes" option, 1 point for the "Partial" option and 0 points for the "No" option. The data obtained as a result of the research were evaluated by scoring between 1-10. According to the results obtained from the results of the evaluation of the prospective teachers, it has been concluded that the books have different averages according to the scale dimensions, but are quite suitable in terms of general lines.
