Three-dimensional modelling technology was applied in this paper to construct models of complex geological body based on borehole data. The 3-D model of the rock, the orebody, the stratum, the fault and so on can be used to display the spatial form of these geological bodies and their spatial relationship, and to predict the trend of the deep ones. It brings geological working a new and multi-dimensional way compared with the traditional methods of confining 3-D information into2-D plane that losing the spatial information. This paper takes a mine area of China as an example to introduce the methods and workflow of the model making and the results of modelling are expressed based on the computer visualization technology.

Recent advances in computer-visualization technology have brought urban historians new tools for analyzing the growth of historic cities. This paper examines both the prospects and problems involved in using this technology to map the development of urban form. Using a computer model of Cairo in two different periods of the Middle Ages, the author has attempted to reconstruct the physical reality of the city and to animate the city so that modernday observers may experience its principal streets. While the work has shown computer simulation to be a significant tool for helping urban historians understand the built environments of the past, it has also exposed possible pitfalls in the seductive potential of such simulations.

OpenGL provides a good development platform for Digital Earth. With the development of three-dimensional computer visualization technology, the significant features of OpenGL will become more compatible with the trend of 3D GIS development. Through OpenGL, software technology and relative theories, especially with the progress of in-depth study of the Digital Earth, the goal building the three-dimensional digital globe has become possible, therefore, we can implement a three-dimensional methods on the initial development of Digital Earth by the visual programming environment of Visual C++ 6.0.

With the geographic information technology in a wide range of applications in geotechnical engineering, in geotechnical engineering, the computer visualization technology has also been rapid development. Accurate three-dimensional mathematical model can make exploration data more realistic. In this paper, the three-dimensional visualization technology of computer combined with mathematical elevation model (DEM), and using multi-faceted function interpolation method to establish the accurately and effectively three-dimensional digital model of the slope. The results show that, the use of multi-faceted function interpolation method can effectively solve the slope of three-dimensional digital modeling interpolation problem.

Through simulating kinds of practical data distribution forms, we could construct different linear data distribution based on three-dimensional space. According to the widely applicable clustering methods based on traditional methods classification, we could compare and analysis of different clustering results on kinds of linear distribution data. Firstly, we could conduct the clustering experiments of simple linear distribution data; secondly, according to the experience above, we could conduct the clustering experiments of complex linear distribution data. At the same time, combining mature computer visualization technology of displaying clustering results with the widely applicable evaluation index of interpretative statement, we could come to the conclusion that relevant influences of linear data distribution on clustering results of different clustering methods, proposing more optimized clustering analysis process on different linear data distributions.

Across the breadth of acquired neurogenic communication disorders, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) may go undetected, underreported, and untreated. In addition to stigma and distrust of healthcare systems, other barriers contribute to decreased identification, healthcare access, and service utilization for Hispanic and African American adults with MCI. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) have significant roles in prevention, education, management, and support of older adults, the population must susceptible to MCI.

The charitable endeavors of Muhammadiyah in the Bangka Belitung Region in the field of education from the levels of Elementary Schools, Junior High Schools, and High Schools and Vocational High Schools are spread to all districts/cities. However, the discussion about Muhammadiyah education in Bangka Belitung is very minimal. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. This study took the sample of the oldest and best senior high school as an illustration of Muhammadiyah education management in Bangka Belitung. The results showed that Muhammadiyah Education experienced various obstacles to the threat of closure, however, they were able to rise from adversity. Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang High School as the oldest school departed from a school that boarded at Muhammadiyah Middle School and later became one of the most popular schools in the era of the 1990s to accommodate students up to 18 classes, but later it fell free and was almost closed due to the lack of students. Several times the change of school principals has not improved, a new hope is obtained when the management of this school is submitted to the STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung to become its lab school. Now with new facilities and management, the number of students is increasing, slowly but surely this school is starting to improve itself. Meanwhile, Muhammadiyah Toboali High School, South Bangka Regency, which was established in 1994, almost lost public confidence, due to a large number of students who failed the National Examination for the 2006/2007 school year. The situation changed along with Supiandi's leadership, his persistence in managing the school, and finally, the trust in the community returned. Now the number of students has reached nearly 500 students
