Abstract An interpretative review of research on adult-infant interactions involving the analysis of movement behaviors is presented, systematically linking previous studies to current research on the subject. Forty-two articles analyzing the dyad's interactive movement in the period 1970-2015 were found. Twelve papers were excluded, including only those that studied the phenomenon in the baby's first year of life. The results revealed that movement was a central topic in early interaction studies in the 70s. In the 1980's and 1990's, its study was marginal and it is currently resurging under the embodiment perspective. The conceptual framework and research methods used in the pioneering work are presented, and the thematic foci shared with current research are highlighted. Thus, essential keys are provided for the updated study of early interactions from a multimodal perspective.

This study aims to determine the form of presentation of operas Batak, to describe a way of presenting opera Batak, to describe the form of presentation tortor, and to know the role tortor in staging opera Batak. The theoretical foundation of this research rests on several theories studied, namely the theory of presenting opera Batak, tortor presentation shape theory and theory of the role, with the conceptual framework as a translation problem contained therein. This research was conducted in the street Bah Bolon Kiri (Lorong IV) No. 96 Siantar, in December 2015 to February 2016. The method in this research use descriptive qualitative research methods. The population in this study were 1 informants who are knowledgeable about dance (tortor) in staging opera Batak, 1 director, 1 music player, and the first person who joins the cast in the opera Batak, the number of samples to be studied amounted to 4 people. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the form of presentation of opera Batak has important elements, namely: a play (drama), dialog, music (gondang), song (ende) and dance (tortor). Tortor the form of presentation of operas Batak presented three times, at the beginning, middle and end of the scene. Tortor role in staging opera Batak serve to embellish what is dictated by the script becomes symbolic, ensuring variation in the opera  aesthetics, strengthening the scene / act story, become entertainment and become transition between scenes

Abstract This article provides an abbreviated conceptual framework for viewing general issues of outcomes research and management and consideration of the emerging interest in patient-referenced outcomes in medicine and pathology. Specific issues addressed are the reasons for increased interest in outcomes research within the past decade; a review of the current language of outcomes management and research; a critique of the advantages and weaknesses of contemporary outcomes analysis and research methods; a summary of the responses of government, regulatory and accreditation organizations, medical societies, and the College of American Pathologists to the outcomes movement; and, in conclusion, a discussion of opportunities provided through outcomes management for enhanced involvement by pathologists in the care of patients.

The aim of this research is to evaluate implementation of Accrual based accounting of local government in Kota Semarang and Kota Bandar Lampung. The research finds that Government Act (PP) No. 71 Year 2010 as amendment of Section 36 ayat (1) Regulation No 17-2003 and Pasal 70 section (2) Regulation No.1-2004 has instructed government to apply Accrual accounting by the year 2008. However, the regulation for implementing this Accrual based accounting has just established since 2010 in PP 71-2010. The establishment of this governmental act, all governments both local and central, must apply Accrual based accounting by the year of  2015. The years from 2010 until 2014 can be identified as the transition from cash based accounting to Accrual based accounting. In December 2013, Central government has set Regulation of Internal Affairs Ministry (Permendagri) No. 64 in 2013 which can be identified as the regulation for controlling the implementation of PP 71 in 2010 at local governments. Local government of Kota Semarang is the only region in Indonesia which has applied Accrual based accounting since 2008. In 2013, government of Bandar Lampung start implementing this financial policy informally, but actually they still use PP 24-2005. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with library research technique. The result of implementation accrual accounting in two public governments is appropriated to conceptual framework.

Across many years of teaching Research Methods and assessing many applications for admission into higher degree studies which require an understanding of theories, principles, strategies and skills needed to complete a higher degree such as a Masters or a PhD, one of the things I have found problematic for many students is the inability to articulate differences between theory, theoretical framework and a conceptual framework for a proposed research project. This paper uses experiential methodology to draw upon my experience in practice, and systematic literature review methodology to draw upon supporting scholarly literature by leaders in the field, to contribute to existing knowledge on the meaning of each of these concepts, and more importantly to distinguish between them in a study of Research Methods, and in particular as they relate to designing a research proposal and a thesis for a higher degree. The primary aim is to help the reader develop a firm grasp of the meaning of these concepts and how they should be used in academic research discourses. The review answers five questions. 1. What does each of these terms mean? 2. When and how should each be used? 3. What purposes does a theoretical framework serve? 4. How do you develop a theoretical framework for your research proposal or thesis? 5. What does a good theoretical framework look like?

Culturology is a young science, however, it claims to be integrative in the system of humanitarian knowledge. One of the reasons for this is the development of our own conceptual framework, creation of its own thesaurus. The central concept of science is the concept of «culture». Today, there are several hundreds of culture definitions, which is a consequence of the variety of research methods. The term «culture» is widely used both as a word of everyday speech, and as a scientific concept. The article analyzes the practice of using the word «culture» in everyday speech, in journalism, which makes it possible to understand how the term is perceived by the public consciousness, which in turn acts as an empirical basis for a theoretical understanding of the essence of culture. For the extra-scientific practice of using the word «culture», two fundamental meanings are characteristic. Firstly, culture is understood as a certain individual integrity (national culture, art culture, religious culture, etc.); secondly, the word culture expresses the level of development of something (a culture of behavior, a culture of thinking, etc.). Moreover, the first meaning, as a rule, is limited to the field of art. The purpose of the article is to characterize the phenomenon of culture as a border separating natural being and social being. Culture is the essence of human, not natural being, it is the noumenon of society, which is a system of phenomena, each of which is a specific side of its own human being. In light of this, to consider culture only the level of positive values seems incorrect, since negative values also apply to society. Culture as a border separating the two spheres of being is the interior and exterior sides, but these are sides of a single whole, which allows us to see the unity of the natural and social in culture, and this allows us to abandon the opposition «nature — culture».

AbstractWhat we hope for has a large impact on how we feel and behave. Research on the determinants and effects of a hopeful disposition is increasing in several academic fields, such as psychology, nursing and organizational studies. However, how hope is defined differs significantly between disciplines, leading to fragmentation in the insights that we can draw from this research. This systematic review aims to provide an extensive overview of the ascribed characteristics of the concept of hope in ten different academic fields. Using phenomenographic research methods, these characterizations are collected and categorized to offer a comprehensive conceptual framework of hope. The resulting framework comprises 7 themes and 41 sub-themes. We show how this framework can be used to obtain a fuller understanding of the concept of hope and of possible blind spots within specific research fields.
