THIS STUDY IS ONE OF COMPARATIVE STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS deliberately avoiding a sociological definition of the situation. It is assumed that two societies had existed in Czechoslovakia for some time and the difference between them, and possible analogies, are examined. There is also an assumption that the division of Czechoslovakia occurred especially because ‘Czechoslovak society’ as such had not yet been established; this was in spite of the fact that the two societies, at the time of the split, had substantially more in common than they had had at the time of Czechoslovakia's formation. There exists the view, which we want to verify, that during the decline of the federation the following factors were significant:1. The differences in economic, social, cultural and dispositional structures;2. The asynchronous and differing processes of modernization in both societies;3. The different consequences of the formation of societies of Soviet type in the Czech Lands in Slovakia;4. The differing processes for rectification of political, economic and cultural institutions in both republics after November 1989.

This chapter outlines the author’s structural definition of the problems involved in the theoretical and practical relations between Sikhism and Islam in terms of religion, history and society since the time of Guru Nanak through the various vicissitudes that were to follow. It contains a synchronous analysis of the structure of the discourse of religion as well as an analysis of the structure of the discourse of history, that is, the diachronous political aspect of the relation. The issues of the unity and duality of the religious and political aspects of life in both the medieval and the contemporary world are a central theme and lead to the more fundamental question of plurality in Indian modernity. Also included is a discussion on non-Sanskritic sects and the relationship between the Mughals and the Sikhs.

Legal designs "purpose" and "allowed use" are present at all branches of the nature-resource right and reflect objectively existing requirement of establishment of the general and special legal regimes of natural resources. The general legal regime of lands is defined by means of division of land fund into categories. The special legal regime assumes establishment of features of use and protection of the land plots of this or that category of lands within additional legal regulation by means of institute of zoning of territories and institute of allowed use of the land plots. Definition of types of allowed use of the land plots can be considered as specifying in relation to a categorization and zoning a way of management and definition of a legal regime of lands and other natural resources. The similar principle takes place and in other nature-resource branches of the right where it is formulated legislatively.

AbstractThe widely accepted hypothesis of the universality of the nuclear family in human cultures owes its popularity above all to the work of G.P. MURDOCK. Subjected to the test of a crosscultural, structural analysis of a selected number of societies the thesis is proved untenable. The nuclear family turns out to be neither a universal nor a prerequisite. This constellation is but one of a number of possible combinations of elementary dyadic relationship clustered around the fundamental mother-child unit. The pattern in which this latter relationship is compounded with the dyads spouse-spouse, father-child and sibling-sibling into more complex structures varies from society to society and is subject to specific economic and historical developments. A formalized definition of the family as “the group consisting of a man and his wife together with their unmarried, dependent children” contributes neither to an explanation of the concrete sociocultural context in which such a structure exists nor of the nature of the relationships, which such a structure imposes on the persons involved.

It is suggested that a better understanding and more effective use of projective techniques can be achieved by viewing each test in terms of the depth of personality assessed and its unique amalgamation of emotional and intellectual aspects of personality. With these considerations in mind, a refurbished definition of a projective test is presented and implications for the phenomenon of projection are discussed.

This study analyzed the morphology and anatomy of the Cordia trichotoma (Vell.) Arrab. ex I. M. Johnst diaspore. The objectives were: the structural analysis of the calyx and corolla that persisted in the ripe fruit and acted in the anemocoric dispersion process; the vascularization of the gynoecium for better understanding of the carpel/locule number of the ovary; nectary structure; and the anatomical analysis of the developmental pericarp and seed for better definition of the fruit type. The results showed that the perianth had aerenchyma and the ovary was 2- 4- locule forming endothelium and false septum. The fruit was drupoid nuculanium and the seed was exotestal.

Introduction. The article analyses the essence of public and private partnership as a mechanism of state management for the development of the tourist sphere. The research conducts a theoretical analysis of the content of the terms which define this economic category by systematizing the works of foreign and Ukrainian authors. The expediency of investment stimulation of the development of regions through the forms of public and private partnership on the basis of principles of cooperation processes in tourism is proved. Purpose. The article aims to study the peculiarities of the use of public and private partnership in the mechanism of state management of tourism development with the definition of directions of investment development of the regions. Method (methodology). The following methods have become the methodological basis of the research: methods of system and structural analysis, method of causal analysis, method of synthesis and argumentation. On their basis the directions of investment development of regions are determined. Result. The identification of the features of public and private partnership and the formation of the principles of cooperation in tourism have become the main results of the article.

The paper explores the mechanisms of digital imitation of traditional tools for designing private gardens in China, the Cultivation Garden in Suzhou, in particular. New graphic-analytical model is proposed. Various approaches are considered for space as an integral structure. Both domestic and foreign literature in the field is investigated, and mathematical tools are selected to analyze the planning structure. The graphical definition of the architecture is given, the areas of its application are considered. An analogy is drawn between the graphicanalytical model and traditional Chinese tools and techniques for the space formation. The graphic-analytical model of the Cultivation Garden is proposed and investigated, and new planning schemes are then suggested. The relevance of the work lies in the use of new tools and techniques for analyzing the spatial structure of historical objects and new design solutions. The aim of this work is to study the graphic-analytical model of the Cultivation Garden, describe the main stages of its development. The following approaches are used: the analysis of the literature in the field; photographs and measurements of the Cultivation Garden; computer simulation; digital structural analysis; generative design method. The generating mechanism in the form of a script in Rhinoceros (Grasshopper) is examined in detail. The process of creating a garden plan is shown. The analysis and generation tool are given together with their disadvantages. A further research into finalization of the script is required for visual representation of the results obtained.
