Between 2003 and 2008, within the LORNET research network (www.lornet.org), our team has been designing and developing TELOS, an innovative operation system for eLearning and knowledge management environments that is driven by a technical ontology. After presenting the underlying principles of this system, we will develop a graphic model of the resulting ontology that captures the conceptual architecture of the system. Next, we will present the main aggregation modeling tool and the way it is related to the TELOS Ontology. Finally, we will illustrate how the ontology is used to drive the system at run-time. The conclusion will discuss the contri- bution of this research to the field of ontological engineering of software systems.

During the life cycle, the state of an object is modified. The information for stepwise and phased study of innovation processes is characterized as local and torn in time, while the life cycle approach regards the process of creating and developing technological innovations as a dynamically synchronized system. The development of organizational and technological systems is being implemented in two directions: the improvement of basic and the creation of fundamentally new technologies. The life cycles of all objects, processes and systems are built on one info graphic model: any life cycle begins with the birth, passes through the stages of growth, maturity, decay and decline. Therefore, it is advisable to consider the innovative investment and construction life cycle of an object as a combination of a series of successive stages (cycles). They are sub-cycles during the period from the beginning of the idea of the initial design and construction of an object until the demolition, complete disassembly, disposal of construction and demolition waste (CDW) and non-recyclable parts of them.

AbstractThe mechanisms that allow species to evolve, coexist, compete, cooperate or become extinct are becoming always more understood. At the same time, the factors that allow species to coexist in a given time within the same environment are still debated. Many theories and hypotheses suggest that competition tends to differentiate the ecological requirements after repeated interactions and to allow the presence of many different species in the same area (i.e. biodiversity). After all, a thorough understanding of the evolutionary dynamics of biodiversity, which could somehow explain the current distribution patterns and mechanisms of coexistence, must consider the biogeographic and phylogenetic approaches. Here I propose a new graphic model that reviews the past and present, and sometimes debated, trends in biodiversity and evolutionary science, pointing out the importance of the avoidance of competition, the biological history, the

HW/SW (hardware/software) co-design method based on analysis and optimization of DFG (data flow graphic) model is introduced for SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip) used for digital instrument design in this paper. The method is based on the DFG model of the digital signal process algorithm and implemented with SOPC technology. The DFG model could help designer to divide the function into hardware and software respectively, therefore, the optimizing analysis at system level and circuit level of a SOPC used for portable logic analyzer shows that the DFG model is very useful for not only optimizing architecture and power consumption, but also HW/SW co-design.
