The investigation results of metal surface processing before industrial painting or protective coat application are shown. A pre-coloring processing defines quality of the coating applied, its adhesion with basic metal, uniformity and strength. The processes of surface roughness formation depending on processing modes and properties of the abrasive used are considered thoroughly.

ABSTRACT Leishmania donovani promastigotes survive inside macrophage phagosomes by inhibiting phagosomal maturation. The main surface glycoconjugate on promastigotes, lipophosphoglycan (LPG), is crucial for survival and mediates the formation of a protective shell of F-actin around the phagosome. Previous studies have demonstrated that this effect involves inhibition of protein kinase Cα. The present study shows that functional Cdc42 and Rac1 are required for the formation of F-actin around L. donovani phagosomes. Moreover, we present data showing that phagosomes containing LPG-defective L. donovani, which is unable to induce F-actin accumulation, display both elevated levels of periphagosomal F-actin and impaired phagosomal maturation in macrophages with permanently active forms of Cdc42 and Rac1. We conclude that L. donovani engages Cdc42 and Rac1 to build up a protective coat of F-actin around its phagosome to prevent phagosomal maturation.

The paper presents a proposed application of the Gunt ET794 turbine model and subsequent tests carried out in order to determine its usability in sample testing under erosive and corrosive conditions. The most important parameter measured during the tests was temperature before the T3 turbine as well as fuel consumption (propane-butane). Following measurement taking and determining conditions, an optimum place for sample attaching was established. CATIA and Autocad software was used to elaborate the sample attachment model. It has been assumed that the tested sample had 14mm in diameter and thickness of 4mm, while the protective coat will be 500μm max. The summary presents additional research and works, whose aim would be to improve the application of the Gunt ET794 as the test stand.
